Westville, IN 2001-SRN Alert/Attack -10/7/23

Recently, the new LaPorte EMA staff has been busting ass to fix the county's siren system. This 2001 is a perfect example of their hard work. It used to be located in the center of the village by the water tower on a short pole. The county then purchased a T-128 north of town providing a pretty big overlap. Fast forward to recently and the 2001 hasn't been working for quite some time. EMA took it down, fixed it, got a new taller pole for it and moved it south of town at the town baseball fields/park. If you look closely they must have worked on the motor as the "FS" cone is now sideways. The south side of town is covered much better now since fixing this and moving it, If you also listen closely you can hear the T-128 at times. To say the least this was one of the best times I've had at a LaPorte County test.
