- La Porte, IN: Monthly test of the sirens in Laporte County Indiana. This I-Force along with a 2001-SRN are located at the Laporte County Fairgrounds just outside of La Porte. Sirens in the county are tested in Alert and Attack, with voice occasionally thrown in (like today). Tests occur on the first Saturday of the Month at 11:00 AM CST. The voice test occurred just before 11:00, but tones for alert never followed. Instead about 15-ish minutes later a radio test had started. Tyler, Bill, Aaron and I had decided it was time to pack up and head to our next test in New Buffalo. As I was walking back to Bill's Car I heard the tones for Alert come through the scanner. Luckily I had the camera rolling to capture the hilarity of the moment. Long story short it was a pretty cool siren to film, one to finally take off my list. Enjoy!

the i force is like: NO 2001!!!
I just noticed something. The I-Force pretty much has the exact same pitch as a 2001. The 2001 may be a bit higher pitched but they are pretty damn close. The I-Force sounds like an electronic 2001
PSA: The I-Force IS NOT an ATI product!
No kidding lol
What would make people think it is an ATI product?
I live right across the street from this
You could’ve met up with these folks at this test. You would’ve met Tyler (WarningSirensOfMichiana), Aaron Nepstad (don’t know his channel), Calvin Mayer, and Bill (Amtrak3501)
finally asc I-force siren talks thats all I searched and asked for.
finally it speaks English and Spanish thank you.
Oh my that was crazy! Hope you made it to the second test!
LOL He looks like the kafe version of the 2008 Modulator
Nice!
I think that's better than that old yellow boxes I see around Johnson County, Kansas! There is one circle of horns one, though!
Awesome! Glad your video ended up turning out okay!
How loud are those things in person?
From where I was at the beginning it was loud but not painful. Where I ended up when the tones finally dropped was painful, especially when that SRN pointed around towards me.
+Calvin Mayer wear ear protection
cool
sounds like an air raid with both sirens going
I like listening to the wail tone on the I-force
The I-Force has in my opinion the nicest wail tone. It's kinda like an electronic Attack tone. I like it a lot.
If you turn the Viper logo upside down, it looks like Daffy Duck is sad.
stampycatfan01 you funny
Pro Viper It's true.
You made me flip my computer congratulations
How close were you to that 2001?
The 2001-SRN was just under 1000 feet directly behind me.
+Clavin damn!
@@Elizabeth-ts4om well it’s LaPorte. They always place their sirens within a 1000-2000 foot radius from each other
the "wind-up" sounds cool in the beginning/middle. but it's weird. any specific reason it's like that?
I think that was the 2001 that was behind them
no I just meant what the I-Force sounds like. it's got a very quiet wind up then blasts when it gets to a certain point. :)
@@haleythemau5 Soft start? Gives you time to cover and protect your ears before you get blasted...
it looks like a dutch siren
The Modulator 2008 is the Dutch siren
Wow so Federal Signal made the modulator, Whelen made the WPS, and ASC made this thing. They are all very similar.
It's called the i-Force. ASC i-Force.
@@FSM_Reviews No shit, Sherlock. I think we know the name.
@@PlatinumEagleStudios Okay, that gave me a chuckle. Name is right there in the title!
This sounds like an ATI siren.
It does not. It is no where near the censor beep tone nor does it sound like the ATI sine wave.
but at the second part of the test it sound better
atleast it's not an ATI
dang! I actually like this siren
and pretty much all sirens.
if there is one siren I hate
it's ATI!
so I'll take this all day over ATI
same manufacturer
