I've been following beginner classes for 4 months now and I wish someone would have explained this to me as you did. Thank you. Shadowboxing incoming 🥊
this is my first encounter to this channel and i immediately subscribed, looking forward to see this channel grow! Thanks Coach for the valuable lesson!
I'll note this down for a future video. In terms of pivots, shuffles, and L step, these videos should help you out: How to Have Slick Footwork in Boxing (Be Light on your Feet) and ua-cam.com/video/vCSOiJxGdKk/v-deo.html Angles in Boxing the Right Way (Footwork, Which Side, Head Movement) ua-cam.com/video/FIPrBr8mp-M/v-deo.html Things That Look Cool But You Shouldn’t Do in a Fight ua-cam.com/video/ktcBFZRG4bU/v-deo.html
This helped a lot, thank you! And for keeping it short and simple. Also, is that the South Korean flag on your left arm? Hello fellow Korean! 복싱 선생님! 😆
I was actually planning to make a video kind of related to that topic in a few weeks. It is definitely unique and it worked for him outstandingly, but I like sticking to the more conventional way of slipping. Mike Tyson was a special breed.
Thank You very much! You look sleek and powerful! You are crearly pretty advanced in the boxing game! Boxing has always been a passion of mine. I train Bjj and Grappling too, but boxing is so sleek, raffinate and efficient that is a beauty to do. How long have You been boxing for?
Yes, that is normal. Your shoulders are valuable tools for blocking or rolling punches so if they're hitting your shoulders, you're doing something right 👍🏽
You know, 'you almost mentioned all basics about boxing' 👌👊🔥🔥🔥 one more thing 'the parry' is missing and the weave🙂 I think just these dodging moves are missing.
I briefly mention about parrying in this video: ua-cam.com/video/Xj84847BMwI/v-deo.html, but a video primarily on that topic will be coming in the future 👍🏽. I always knew of "weaving" as just another name for "rolling". Thanks for watching!
You are the 1 who makes 'things interesting' like here you make boxing like fun if we know and understand, everything in martial arts will be just fun [entertaining]. I like that to feel that about the whole universe that you can even practise your favorite sport with fun.👌👌👊🔥
I learned a lot in less than 4 minutes. Love the short yet dense videos you're putting out. Subscribed.
I’m glad to hear it, man. Thank you for subscribing! 🙏🏽
Amazing Lessons....short...crisp...effective... precise. 🥊👍
Thank you for the great feedback! 👍🏽

Well I’m glad you ran into my channel! Shadowboxing is 🔑! Probably the most important aspect of training for you especially as a beginner. 👍🏽
Lmao I use the “running from the opponent” when I see a bee near me 😂
Good strategy cuz the bee can always just go to the body 😂

can you do a video discussing defense utilizing distance and stepping back out of range (like how Shakur does) and pivots/shuffles/L steps, etc.
I'll note this down for a future video. In terms of pivots, shuffles, and L step, these videos should help you out:

What do you think about Mike Tyson slip style
I was actually planning to make a video kind of related to that topic in a few weeks. It is definitely unique and it worked for him outstandingly, but I like sticking to the more conventional way of slipping. Mike Tyson was a special breed.

@@ghoulboy Lol I appreciate that 👌🏽
Is it ok to roll on straight punches?
Absolutely!
hey coach when I slip in sparring is it a normal thing for the opponent to hit my shoulder?
Yes, that is normal. Your shoulders are valuable tools for blocking or rolling punches so if they're hitting your shoulders, you're doing something right 👍🏽
