Do you think part of the burn out is in part due to limited content in Infinite currently? Or was it just you overworking yourself? I’m curious where creators are at with creating content for the game in its current state.

I completed it legit, and it was a nightmare, but not the worse LASO I've done. It was actually fun at times, emphasis on at times.
Yeah it's def easier than any other LASO by a large margin. I've only ever attempted H3 LASO and hated it, this is the first time I've actually enjoyed LASO

@@HiddenXperia I've beaten every halo game on Legendary 2-3 times, with all the easier skulls on. Perhaps this is the 1st LASO I can attempt without breaking my expensive controller?
I somehow beat Escharum legit on a botched "I threw away my tank gun by accident and saved also by accident" run. Then the opening room of the final mission made me give up. Man, I am not fighting the final boss encounter legit...
Especially since I didn't have the Arcane Beam or anything.
@@FelisImpurrator all you need is the energy sword and any other gun for the final boss, trust me i've done it and its not as hard as you may think

The hard part about LASO in this campaign, is how unpredictable the environment will be, unlike the LASO in other Halo games, I'd still say LASO in Halo 2 is still hands down the hardest.
Exactly this, the scripted missions are a breeze but the open world is so harsh on laso
@@th4t5mybulm48 A breeze, you say... Before I figured out you could just grappleskip it, the huge double elite room in Foundations locked me down for hours just from grunts.
Those disruptors are the biggest bastards on LASO and virtually a joke on every other difficulty. It's hilarious.

Tip: at the start of a new mission, you can pause and restart the mission. This gives you full shields and a checkpoint. Just make sure the mission on the pause menu advanced.

@@th4t5mybulm48 it’s little known and for some reason lot of LASO guides don’t mention it. Silly really you force checkpoints and it makes things a lot easier. Game Saves Progress regardless of shields at the start of every new Mission, after every load screen, and after every Fast Travel. It also saves progress after you arrive at every FOB and does so as well after major sections of a level are done. If you End Game and Reload from Menu it will place you back with full shields at the point where you last Saved Progress. Since your shields are full you will immediately also get a checkpoint. On LASO you can’t see the Save Progress unfortunately but from playing on non LASO you can tell when it happens. Even being conservative with this technique you can force a lot of checkpoints after near death firefights. For instance you can definitely End Game before Harbinger fight to force a checkpoint and I do it after I take down each AA gun on Pelican Down. You can do it in House of Reckoning after every section and boss fight etc etc.
You’ll get through it. Trust me, it feels so good to finally push through and finish it

The energy sword on laso is actually so fun. Can’t wait to get thrusters maxed and the duelist energy sword so I can turn invisible and give ‘‘em some payback
The thrusters' invisibility only works if you use it while visible, if you shoot while invis and spam it you'll be spotted.
Killing the final enemy with 0.3 seconds left on the clock HAS to count as beating it in 2 hours for rule of cool, even if it doesn't by speed run standards.

I love when you notice a translucent red beam, you know it will be your demise.
My favorite thing in the conservatory is at the end when you leave that room with the Harbinger, you can get back into the room before the door closes, and it just restarts the cutscene again at the other door.

LASO was a pain in the ass, but it felt so good to sigh with relief once I finished it. The biggest challenges were the two brothers, Hunters with the rapid fire shot, the Elite Ultra, and the damn Grunts with the Disruptors. The main weapons I used were the SPNKR and it’s variant, and the Energy Sword and Blood Blade. However, I used the Sentinel Beam on the Harbinger to take out her shields before slashing her with the sword.

It would've been cool to see some kind of reward for completing Infinite LASO, like perhaps a 343GS AI or maybe even an Armour set based on the Harbingers Armour, so much potential yet all of it has been lost

Good to see you back! Quick tip, fully upgrade dash and get the duellist energy sword and it turns a lot of sections into a cakewalk you can practically boost past more enemies.

You actually inspired me too try Infinite’s LASO, and it took me 2-3 weeks but I did all the missions and got the achievement! It was my first LASO and I was really excited about it. I have probably 30% of the open world left on it though

I have been missing out on the halo content lately welcome back though and the LASO videos are hilarious and butt clenching
Little tip I learned in my LASO run is to almost exclusively use dynamo grenades. If you're behind cover with a bunch of enemies, throw a few and then rush them with grapple and the sword. It works surprisingly well.
The algorithm did you dirty but you should definitely make this a series. I really enjoy these

I COMPLETED INFINITE'S LASO! It's my first LASO I ever did. I felt so proud and now I believe I am a God Tier Halo fan. After the first 2 or 3 missions, I learned exactly how to be successful; I had to wait a few minutes after ever fight to get a checkpoint, and I had to take my time and be reserved and sneaky, NOT to "jump feet first into hell!"
And where is the fun in that?

I can relate so much... my first LASO playthrough, I got soft locked on the second to last mission by a glitchy checkpoint and after nearly 2 days of attempting to, I couldn't break free of it... so I went through the whole LASO game again

As someone who personally dislikes the blackeye and tilt skulls, not knowing what weapon I'm using, and being restricted to avoiding combat or skipping battles and objectives, LASO seems like HELL.

when i did my laso run i had the sentinal beam and the duelist sword, imo best combo. grenades helped with launching enemies
This LASO was the 1st LASO I did where I didn't need to wait for Silver Scorpion to make a guide. Just a playthrough, some videos on weapons and glitches (the mini boss sword and the tank gun) and I beat it in like 6 hours! Most fun and easiest LASO ever!
