INGREDIENTS:
1.5 tsp yeast
1 tsp salt
2.5 cups warm water
1/2 tsp baking soda
5 cups flour
1 tbsp oil

We eat these for breakfast on occasion and top them with sugar or honey. These parathas pair well with sheerchai (milk tea) which I will be posting a video on soon!

Yes you can certainly cut the batch in half
How hot is the oil supposed to be
I fry then once the oil is hot enough to fry on medium heat
Do I have to leave ti for 2 hours can I not use the dough straight away
It is necessary to let the it rest so that you are able to roll out the dough. If necessary you could let it rest for just one hour.
