My answers: *Dating*: not until you’re an adult and I hope you still make responsible decisions *Sleepover at a friend’s house*: If they come to our house, then whatever age. If you go to their house, probably 9 after getting to know the parents well *Get on social media*: it depends on the app, but no IG or TikTok until 15, maybe UA-cam for a teen 11, but no making content until 12. *Stay home alone*: it honestly depends on how responsible you are, but minimum is 10 years old *Watch rated R movies*: it depends on how sensitive you are and how much you soak up stuff around you, but probably around 10-11, just swearing and mild violence. No horrible stuff, because it may traumatize you, until 14. *Curse*: it’s okay to slip up, but if I never swear, you never swear on purpose, it’s just not funny anymore, and not polite. *Drink caffeine*: some coffee-milk around 8 and up, but no coffee until 16. Let me know if I would be strict! 🤷♀️

This is our point of view for this. So, dating, we would say 15. Sleepover would be 6 years, if we know their friend's parents well. Staying home alone is the same for both tbh but it depends.
@@kairo_9512 why don't you let them both date at the same age.. and just monitor them so nothing bad happens?
edit(READ BEFORE YOU REPLY.): since everyone is replying to this, my monitor I meant ask the kid if whoever they're dating is toxic, abusive, etc. if you find signs of that, have a talk with them. I don't mean snooping or anything.
1- NEVER
2- any age (for parents i know for years) and 6 for ones i kinda know them well
3- 4 years old (youtube kids) 6 (with me) 11 (alone
4- son: 11 daughter: 14
5- NEVER
6- NEVER
7- at 13 *if they like it*
Yeah everyones mad over the dating double standard, but the one about staying home alone doesnt even make sense because trusting a kid to stay home alone is just how mature you think your kid is so why wait till 16? What does he think the daughter is gonna do at 15 if left home alone? If raised right, both kids can easily be responsible for themselves wayyyy before turning 16.
this is sooooo true some men just don’t understand that
If something goes wrong, a 13 yo boy can defend themselves WAAAAAAY better than a 15 yo girl.
@@ethanweimer-kopf6907 I would disagree with this, not because of the physical ability, but just the age and maturity that comes with being older and understanding how to deal with situations better. Plus, in most cases, the worst thing that would happen would be more like a fire and an older kid would have a better grasp on the situation.
7 years when i started
