It has a stench to it, is all I can describe it, a stench like some ancient book that has been kept in a strange chest in some old crypt somewhere for centuries. For years I was an agnostic and kept trying to come back to the "church" (I didn't even know that Catholicism was a choice then), but always kept having the creepy crawlies like at any moment everyone is going to simultaneously turn to me and their faces melt into ghastly monsters with dripping fangs. I used to have a recurring nightmare about this staircase in the church I grew up in. At the bottom under the stairs was an opening and it was blacker than black with cold coming out of it and there was something in there that was vacuuming me towards it, like a powerful sucking pull. And the terror was something unbelievable. I am getting chills just thinking about it. That and other nightmares, but I am too tired right now to describe those. I used to try to listen to sermons on the radio, but I just could never get over that VOICE. That horrible protestant SERMON VOICE. My spinal fluid just locks up and I have to cut it off. Yeah, I want to take that hammer and do something with it, too.

We use saints as inspiration. We have statues of the leaders of our faith just as stadiums have leaders of their teams in statues. A saint usually has done a great act of faith in front of a large group of people, in a hard time to do so. We don't worship them, we pray to have they same faith that they did

I know that Catholics claim that their beliefs are taken from not just the Bible, but from tradition as well. If that's the case then you would expect doctrines as important as the ones I've listed to be in the Bible, but they are not. What I've listed is just a tip of the iceberg. There are many more unbiblical doctrines I could have listed, but I wanted to be fair to anyone responding and not overwhelm them. That we do not have to be bound and enslaved by all the false doctrines of man made theories, which God disapproves off. It has a stench to it, is all I can describe it, a stench like some ancient book that has been kept in a strange chest in some old crypt somewhere for centuries. I used to have a recurring nightmare about this staircase in the church I grew up in. At the bottom under the stairs was an opening and it was blacker than black with cold coming out of it and there was something in there that was vacuuming me towards it, like a powerful sucking pull. And the terror was something unbelievable. I am getting chills just thinking about it. That and other nightmares, but I am too tired right now to describe those. I used to try to listen to sermons on the radio, but I just could never get over that VOICE. That horrible protestant SERMON VOICE. My spinal fluid just locks up and I have to cut it off. Yeah, I want to take that hammer and do something with it, too.

We use saints as inspiration. We have statues of the leaders of our faith just as stadiums have leaders of their teams in statues. A saint usually has done a great act of faith in front of a large group of people, in a hard time to do so. We don't worship them, we pray to have they same faith that they did

Thank you John. So far no one from the Catholic faith has taken up my challenge. It's because those things I pointed out are simply not there in the Bible. I know that Catholics claim that their beliefs are taken from not just the Bible, but from tradition as well. If that's the case then you would expect doctrines as important as the ones I've listed to be in the Bible, but they are not. What I've listed is just a tip of the iceberg. There are many more unbiblical doctrines I could have listed, but I wanted to be fair to anyone responding and not overwhelm them. I am not trying to offend anyone, but to help people realise that they're being mislead. I only seek to help people to realise the simplicity of the message of salvation. That we do not have to be bound and enslaved by all the false doctrines of man made theories, which God disapproves off. Those false doctrines are a burden to God's precious souls and He wants to free us from them. "And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." John 8:32. And the truth is Jesus- John 14:6.
With regards to the Sabbath, I would remind you that there is no Sunday observance in the Bible. Sunday worship emanates from pagan sun worship. Hence why the day is called SUNDAY. The Sabbath is mentioned from Genesis to Revelation, but there is no mention of anyone keeping SUNDAY. I would encourage you to read 1 John 2:3,4 and James 2:10.

Christians have never worshipped statues or trees, etc, we venerate what the statue represents. Worship is for God alone. All that was settled in the 7th Ecumenical council of the church. That's why we have images in churches and why that's ok for us to have them.
