    🛒 Ingredients:
    • Ground beef - 500 g
    • Salt - 6 g
    • Black pepper - 1 g
    • Egg - 1 pc.
    • Onion - 1.5 kg (6 large onions)
    • Vegetable oil - for frying
    • Butter - 30 g
    • Sugar - 1 tbsp
    • Garlic - 2 cloves (finely chopped)
    • Thyme - 2 sprigs
    • Bay leaf - 2 pcs.
    • Flour - 1 tbsp
    • White wine - 200 ml
    • Heavy cream (30%) - 200 ml
    • Water - 1.5 l
    • Tortilla - 1 pc.
    🔥 Preparation:
    1. Preparing the Meatballs:
    • Add salt, pepper, and egg to the ground beef.
    • Mix well and beat the mixture (as shown in the video).
    • Form a “sausage” shape, then cut it into small pieces.
    2. Preparing the Onion Base:
    • Slice the onions into half-rings.
    • Sauté in a mix of vegetable and butter until golden brown.
    • Add 1 tbsp of sugar, chopped garlic, thyme, and bay leaves.
    • Stir in 1 tbsp of flour.
    • Pour in white wine and simmer for 2 minutes to evaporate the alcohol.
    3. Cooking the Soup:
    • Add the meatballs to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
    • Pour in 1.5 liters of water and bring to a boil.
    • Add 200 ml of heavy cream, salt, and pepper to taste. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
    4. Crispy Cheese Tortilla:
    • Cut the tortilla into small pieces.
    • Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    • Deep-fry until golden brown.
    Serve the soup hot with crispy cheese tortilla. Enjoy your meal!

      Nah, I think you're younger than the guy I'm thinking of... but you could be friends. You're clearly good at cooking and bad at music, so.....

      Damn. I can only fault you on three to four things -
      1. You mixed onion cutting technique. This causes differential cooking and tenderness due to the elongated shape of onion cells.
      2. The 'music'. Even a Frenchman would likely be embarrassed to hear that in public.
      3. You salted dairy, but got away with it. We usually do.
      4. Alright, I confess - I thought I was watching someone make Spanish tortilla (from pomme de terre) really badly for a minute there.
