Wow. First thanks for posting this. I was considering discarding my hose reel since the water connection was leaking bad and was fairly corroded. Second, I have not been this impressed in years as I was with Liberty's service. I emailed them a link to your video and a snapshot of the part (from the video). They got back to me very fast and took the time to send me a bunch of photos complete with measurements. I did not even have to repeat my address as they were intelligent enough to get that from my email. Total cost August 2023 including shipping to California: $38.99.
Thank you the tips. Extremely helpful. I restored mine and ordered the parts. I got a very fast response from Liberty. It's not manufactured here but they can order it. I sent a screen picture of the part and they knew exactly what I was talking about. Parts came in about a week. Changing it out is easy except the hook on the wheel. I had keep pushing the rod to feel the hole. After 15 minutes, I finally got it. It's hard to guide it. I use AGS Rust Solution Spray paint over the rust spots. I also sprayed the inside of the middle. Just aim the spray and rotate the wheel. Do the opposite side.
Thanks for putting up this video! I have a real that I repacked the water connection with faucet stem packing and that has not worked very well. I've been searching for the replacement part and your info in the comments has what is presumably exactly what I need on the way to me!
By chance you wouldn't have the part numbers of the parts used do you? I have the same hose reel and the brass water hose inlet broke and need to replace it. But no pictures of replacement parts show what I have.
@countryside; Hello, the part number they gave me is #872 Water Connection. If yours is the same as mine it should work. Their # is 866-820-5805 and they are very helpful, even though it took a long time to get the part because of the pandemic and stock issues. Thanks for reaching out.

@@joelongrid7625 do you happen to have a model number for the cart? I called them and gave them the part number and they said they don't carry that old of parts anymore
@@webster8004 There wasn't a model number anywhere to be found. I ended up sending pictures and they knew what part I needed. They call the part 872 water connections, I checked my old email from them. Like I mentioned in the video they sent me the wrong part originally but they corrected it. Very helpful but it took a few tries and some patience. My cart is likely five to ten years old I'm guessing.

I found two of these that are mechanically sound but they are rusted. I want to remove rust and paint them.
Do you happen to remember what that part was called I have one I'm redoing what could use it.
I'm sorry I dont recall what it is called. Get ahold of Liberty and they should be able to help.
Joel

That is what is wrong with mine
Hey Joel do you happen to know that part number? I bought the same reel last year and it's leaked since I got it and can't find the part
