Natalie Brown Actually, a lot of his animals are not being kept in the best conditions. Some of the wheels are wire, which is dangerous for animals limbs and tails (they can get caught in the wires and break), as well as a lack of climbing space for many of the reptiles and opossums who need to climb. There are other mistakes, but I will not go into further detail.
Jeanette Goh J.W He is not caring for some of the animals properly. Also, he writes many times in the comments here that he is an animal breeder. The animals he is keeping are not just pets.
A very cool mom, even if you do have to pay rent! I had one too, gone now but I'm forever grateful for her tolerance esp. since I did live at home then as a teen and the menagerie in my bedroom. All the more amazing after a 5 foot yellow rat snake escaped and later turned up fully stretched out around her bedroom window frame ;} Many thanks for these videos - they're most enjoyable.
Snakes actually like being in a safe, sheltered place and it's pretty common practice to keep snakes in tubs like these. However, there is some debate as to whether or not this is ideal for the snakes.
I'm sure they are. It is the exact same as a glass tank, just made of plastic. Plus it is lighter and easier to carry, costs less, and cleans out easier. Best for the owner and the pet over a standard glass aquarium/tank.
Wth, I'm sorry but this looks miserable for these animals. Think about being trapped in a small square for the majority of your day, nothing to do but run into the wall or eat/drink. Animals actually love to play and explore, I think this is just horrible, sorry.
***** Humans and animals are not the same. Snakes and some lizards love being in small enclosures because it makes them feel secure. Also it's not like he never takes these animals out of their enclosures. It's almost necessary to take some snakes out of their enclosures to give them affection. Some animals won't eat if their not in small enclosures as well.
Hi,I really enjoyed your pet room, great job as being a host and it's good to see you treat them well,I love to see how you handle them with ease.Thank's!
Kudos for keeping so many animals happy and healthy, they all look to be in really good condition and really weren't too bothered by the handling ^^ lol I live in England, I knew people kept hedgehogs but I had no idea people kept possums as pets, they're so damn cute!
I will try to soon. Some snakes are slightly different but most can be done when young by a popping method, but it is only safe for young snakes, not good to do to older snakes. I'll try to do a video on it soon.
I had a pet snake and she was super nice. You could pick her up and she was curious and wasn't aggressive at all. Snakes make surprisingly good pets. A lot of them really enjoy being handled. :)
Oh wow, this is insanely impressive. I just got my first hedgie about a month ago, give or take. She is a Cream, and is the sweetest thing. I LOVE learning more and more about hedgies, they are so fascinating. I love your videos. I want to breed in the future. Thanks for sharing!
No it is not way too small. Snakes don't need as much space as many other pets people keep. Snakes don't really need 'exercise' they basically just sit around and wait for food. And since I feed them regularly, they don't feel the need to move around and look for food, they are happy pretty much just hanging out. I have actually since this video given them a larger tank, well a spot/tub in my reptile rack which has a larger ground space; you can see in some future videos of mine.
@henham97 heat should cover about 1/3rd to 1/4th of the cage bottom. Usually it is on the back or side of the cage. The rest of the cage bottom should be left unheated, so they have a hot spot, and cool spot.
@jak3mered1th nope, sand actually isn't recommended for them. they are called sand boas, but they don't really live in sand often in the wild. aspen is a great substrate for them.
I got them from a breeder in texas, shipped to me on passenger airlines(I picked up at airport). You can find a local breeder, or do what I did and have them shipped to you. Animal expos often have them too, and some pet shops.
Your crested gecko is super shy! I've had mine since he was tiny and he'll sit there with me and watch tv and my bf's fish in his aquariums. He's also hand fed.
I have four rescue bunnies, 7 dogs (5 rescues), a baby painted turtle (my friend couldn't keep him), a corn snake, 3 rats, a horse, 2 cows, and 28 chickens! :) i love animals!!!
@LegitReptiles they can be a little spikey, but it doesn't really hurt at all. Most of mine are calm and put their spikes back/down so as to not spike me.
@EvtheNev everyone has their hobbies/passions in life. I really enjoy caring for animals and sharing knowledge of pet care with others. I may have a lot, but like you said, I do care very well for them :)
I myself have a shed for my reptiles/rats, I'm really a herp person, more than anything. I was looking to get some short tailed opossums as well. I have only about 30+ reptiles right now, but we have a pregnant rtb with more on the way. its nice seeing someone else with this hobby/passion. I have a hypo honduran milk snake, its a female, but she's young and jumpy, too. I've always just assumed it was because they were younger. Our other red tail was real nippy when it was young. Its not anymore.
thats insane man i want to have many animals when im older just like that, im 17 but yeah ive always had pets growing up like chickens, lizards, parrots, dogs, and yeah im getting a gecko soon. great vid
All very loved and taken care of correctly, oh and I have 4 horses at my friends house :) so 80 pets and I am only 16 years old, I use my animals as therpy pets for my sister, she has autism, and for other kids who need pet therpy, they are all very sweet, and they are not sold they are given to good homes, all 46 red bellied racers got homes to friends or family I know will take care of them :)
I've worked/owned cats most of my life and some no matter how young you get them just don't like being picked up. They have to really trust you. Try sitting on the floor, using treats soaked in a little tuna can water to get close and just pet them After awhile of this try picking him up while sitting on the floor, so he's not so high above ground. If you HAVE to pick him up for some serious reason, hold two paws in each hand gently and facing away from you so he can't scratch. Good Luck! :D
@OtakuXxChan those would be expensive to throw out every week. And to clean them I would have to shake off all the poop then run them through the washing machine(energy and water bill). Aspen is the most cost effective and safe.
Man I love your vids, I can see you take such a great care of the animals. I'm gonna subscribe to you and could you please do more update videos on your pet rooms because I enjoy watching them.
they need heat, they don't need any special lighting. You can either use a heatpad(which mine have) or a heatlight. Just heat needed though, no special light needed.
sooooooo cute i had a hedgehog in my garden so we had to keep it for a week and we played with it at night cause we let it out and it would play with my rubber ball
A rabbit cage may be just fine. hedgehogs really don't cost much to own. Buy a large size cat food, and it will last for months. All you need to do is throw in some insects, veggies, and fruit from time to time. They can be shipped, but only on airlines same day on a passenger flight. You would pick them up at the airport. This shipping method I have used before, and usually costs up to $125.
@darkver12 sometimes if the tail was once detached and regrown it will regrow a little funny looking. Sometimes more stubby looking, or sometimes a scar at the break site.
@henham97 well some people do put it on the side of the tub... but I meant the 'side' of the bottom. So like the left or right side(not actually up on the side). Or along the back.
@Candy48Cane I got mine from breeders and animal expos. Each state has different rules on if they are legal to keep or if you need a license to keep them.
@marekiller8 Last time I checked they were legal in *most* of New York. They are illegal in the following counties/cities: Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, and Manhattan.
@reptileez Thanks :) and I don't have any ball pythons. I think you mean the red tail boas I have. I have a few videos with them in it, but not a care video, mainly feeding vids.
@heroscape300 well, the cost depends on the animals you keep, the cages you use, where you buy the food, etc. I try to be smart about buying in bulk, etc, to keep cost down. But I don't know the exact cost, probably too much though ;p
@123FIREball200 maybe, if it was born in captivity and raised correctly. A pure bred wolf would be hard, but maybe if it is half dog - It is half what type of dog?
Are the tubs the permanent cages for the possums? I want one, but don't have a ton of space. If they can live in that I may get one. What about the hedgehogs?
@123FIREball200 odd mix... the food they get makes no difference, what matters is how it is brought up. But if it has a lot of wolf in it, it could be aggressive at times.
@piflan for feeders. much less expensive than purchasing feeders from a pet shop, and I also know they are healthy when I breed them, whereas you never know if the ones from a pet shop may be ill.
@NewKiller101 most turtles need a basking area where they can get out of the water. Many turtles will eat fish. I feed my turtles pellet foods, crickets, and fish.
How often do you have to handle your pet leopard gecko to tame them? I hold mine 15 min a day, and half the time she still gets scared and tries to run off. I've had her about 6 to 8 weeks.
You treat your animals so great! Love your videos!
I'm on a binge watching your videos, so glad your channel showed up on my recommended videos.
King Frosty IX Awesome!!
He is a very nice guy, those who malign or accuse him of keeping them as prisoners, he is just keeping them as PETS a holes!!
Jeanette Goh J.W He is not caring for some of the animals properly. Also, he writes many times in the comments here that he is an animal breeder. The animals he is keeping are not just pets.
Wow! Major props for being able to take care of all these precious animals! You are awesome!
Wow you are a great pet owner it takes a lot of courage to take care of that many pets!!!😉☺😁
:) thanks
Skyler Metcalfe Just because he owns a lot of pets doesn’t mean that he is caring for them properly.
You have more passion for your animal than anybody that I've seen on youtube. Good for you and great animals!
Are the leopard geckos still doing well? I thought they aren't supposed to be kept on wood shavings
They should be fine
Cole Townsend Do you have evidence to back up this statement?
Socksquash 22, there has been numerous cases of leopard geckos dying from impaction. It is often sand but there have been some with wood chippings.
SteamCracksPacks I will be sure to avoid that in the future then. Thanks! :)
A very cool mom, even if you do have to pay rent!
I had one too, gone now but I'm forever grateful for her tolerance esp. since I did live at home then as a teen and the menagerie in my bedroom. All the more amazing after a 5 foot yellow rat snake escaped and later turned up fully stretched out around her bedroom window frame ;}
Many thanks for these videos - they're most enjoyable.
You have an amazing collection but don't you think that putting all the snakes and stuff in small draws is a big cruel?
Snakes actually like being in a safe, sheltered place and it's pretty common practice to keep snakes in tubs like these. However, there is some debate as to whether or not this is ideal for the snakes.
cometkite
Really like the possum!..never would've thought that one of those could make a good pet.
Has anyone ever told you that you look like Nickleback lol. No offence its just you guys could be brothers :D
Actually these animals love it. They feel secure.
Bob Harley
What the hell lol I'm sure you'd love that, being in one of those cages all day.
***** *Sigh* You are so ignorant I truly don't know what to say right now.. Get off the internet with your smartass kid.
cause you know what other animals feel...
***** Humans and animals are not the same. Snakes and some lizards love being in small enclosures because it makes them feel secure. Also it's not like he never takes these animals out of their enclosures. It's almost necessary to take some snakes out of their enclosures to give them affection. Some animals won't eat if their not in small enclosures as well.
thanks :) as a kid I had pets, but not as many as I do now. They don't smell as long as kept clean.
You are sick, man, what for do u keep them in cages all the time? This is not collection, they are live creatures.
Those have to be the CUTEST opossums I have ever seen! The one that lives under my back porch is massive and looks something like a furry dinosaur xD
Hi,I really enjoyed your pet room, great job as being a host and it's good to see you treat them well,I love to see how you handle them with ease.Thank's!
That possum is SO adorable. As are all of your other critters.
Kudos for keeping so many animals happy and healthy, they all look to be in really good condition and really weren't too bothered by the handling ^^
lol I live in England, I knew people kept hedgehogs but I had no idea people kept possums as pets, they're so damn cute!
i'll bet those animals are happy living in plastic boxes!
I actually sat through the advertisement because it was playing ragtime! :D
I will try to soon. Some snakes are slightly different but most can be done when young by a popping method, but it is only safe for young snakes, not good to do to older snakes. I'll try to do a video on it soon.
I had wild-caught hedgehogs when I lived in Europe. They were grey-brown. Very cute animals.
the baby opossum was adorable
thats a nice set up you have, your animals look all very healthy and happy, you seem to know what your doing. nice video :)
@JJKobbler they need about 72F to 78F. No heat is needed as long as your house or petroom is in that range.
I want to be you. I have a love for SOOOOO many animals and you are living my dream!!!!
basically a place where people get together and sell pets, display pets, etc. Think of a building full of all types of exotic pets which you can buy
No it is not way too small. Snakes don't need as much space as many other pets people keep. Snakes don't really need 'exercise' they basically just sit around and wait for food. And since I feed them regularly, they don't feel the need to move around and look for food, they are happy pretty much just hanging out. @jak3mered1th nope, sand actually isn't recommended for them. they are called sand boas, but they don't really live in sand often in the wild. aspen is a great substrate for them.

thanks! no not really. I take them out often, and friends enjoy seeing and holding them too
I love your videos! Thanks for posting!
Thanks :)

Love your vids👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love this video dude and all of your pets.
Which one of these animals would be the most tamed out of them all?
You got all the great animals! Keep up the good work
@LegitReptiles they can be a little spikey, but it doesn't really hurt at all. Most of mine are calm and put their spikes back/down so as to not spike me.
I like your pets . I love your hedgehogs there so cutee.
Well that depends on the breeder... But looks for some local breeders and try to handle before buying.
@EvtheNev everyone has their hobbies/passions in life. I really enjoy caring for animals and sharing knowledge of pet care with others. I may have a lot, but like you said, I do care very well for them :)
I'm glad your MOM.... did a good job.
that was really cool love to see more just like it
@ColinM0961 their care is very similar. Yes, they can eat hamster food, but you will also find mouse food at the pet shop.
i love your pets, your must be an amazing pet owner! and nice harry potter book! :)
I myself have a shed for my reptiles/rats, I'm really a herp person, more than anything. I was looking to get some short tailed opossums as well. love the stump thing in the male leo's cage
I love you! Trying to talk my parents into a hedgehog at the moment, been doing a lot of research for the past few months and getting very excited!
thats insane man i want to have many animals when im older just like that, im 17 but yeah ive always had pets growing up like chickens, lizards, parrots, dogs, and yeah im getting a gecko soon. great vid

guy: great hedgehog!
hedgehog: release me human!
It takes some work, but I handle it :) As for the rack it is a BoaPhile RhinoRaxx. You can find it at the BoaPhilePlastics website.
@OtakuXxChan those would be expensive to throw out every week. And to clean them I would have to shake off all the poop then run them through the washing machine(energy and water bill). Aspen is the most cost effective and safe.

i love your pets i have 2 bearded dragons myself and i just love reptiles and cats wicked pets
sooooooo cute i had a hedgehog in my garden so we had to keep it for a week and we played with it at night cause we let it out and it would play with my rubber ball
@TigerLilly099 did you disturbe the mom/cage in any way, or handle the babies before 14 days had passed?
A rabbit cage may be just fine. hedgehogs really don't cost much to own. Buy a large size cat food, and it will last for months. All you need to do is throw in some insects, veggies, and fruit from time to time. They can be shipped, but only on airlines same day on a passenger flight. You would pick them up at the airport. you should have one hot hide and one cool hide. just get another hide, use a cardboard box even and just cut a door in it.
I like how you refer to your pets as "overyone". love it :P
The lizards are so cute!
you should get sugar gliders, they would be perfect addition to the exotics like your opossums and hedge hogs
great video as always keep them up
so cute! I have been thinking about getting a hedgehog ...they are adorable!
@haleyrbrts snakes and geckos are pretty easy to care for. snakes probably easier because they require food less often.
Wow that's a lot of pets. How do you divide the time that you give attention of all of them??
Great pet care! What was that black thing that you put on the crusted geico's cage?
@darkver12 sometimes if the tail was once detached and regrown it will regrow a little funny looking. Sometimes more stubby looking, or sometimes a scar at the break site.
@henham97 well some people do put it on the side of the tub... but I meant the 'side' of the bottom. So like the left or right side(not actually up on the side). Or along the back.
all of ur animals are fabulous!
Your possums and hedgehogs are so cute :)
I love the animals but is the substrate safe for geckos? If they were to swallow one of the wood shards seems unsafe?
@Candy48Cane I got mine from breeders and animal expos. Each state has different rules on if they are legal to keep or if you need a license to keep them.
dude your video is awesome!!!!!!!
@xoxo9613 lamps and pads are both good, it depends on the reptile type and the cage setup.
@SlitheringSnake164 the cost really isn't that bad if supplies are purchased in bulk and from inexpensive sources.
@heroscape300 well, the cost depends on the animals you keep, the cages you use, where you buy the food, etc. I try to be smart about buying in bulk, etc, to keep cost down. But I don't know the exact cost, probably too much though ;p
yo!! your exotic vacuum, AC, and box is dope!!!!
Yes, I believe they are considered exotic pets, at least the African Pygmy Hedgehogs we keep as pets.
@123FIREball200 odd mix... the food they get makes no difference, what matters is how it is brought up. But if it has a lot of wolf in it, it could be aggressive at times.
Aww the possums are cute & neat! Wish I could get one ^_^
Geckos have weird looking tails but they look so cool
@piflan for feeders. much less expensive than purchasing feeders from a pet shop, and I also know they are healthy when I breed them, whereas you never know if the ones from a pet shop may be ill.
@cadigris they don't very often; or at all maybe. I've never noticed quills coming off any of my hedgehogs.
omg i love your hedgehogs there so cute
I have a hedgehog and she is so nice because the breeder was so good to all her hedgehogs
@shanaynaysfan 3 guinea pigs may be a bit crowded in that size cage. I would say 1 or 2 would probably be ok.
Thanks for the nice comments :)
aww the hedgehog is so cute
@NewKiller101 most turtles need a basking area where they can get out of the water. Many turtles will eat fish. I feed my turtles pellet foods, crickets, and fish.
