  • VA Specialties low pro traction bar install on the purple truck. Install was pretty easy and I would say the bars are nicely made and appear to be a good product would recommend.

      No I didn’t sometimes you can hear a slight noise but it’s barely noticeable. I think it’s kinda stupid that they sell the traction bars without them

    What all is done to this truck? Im assuming heads, cam, intake, exhaust, and tune? And if so, could you tell what brand you went with for each? Have a 2014 crew cab sierra that I wanna drop and make around 500 hp with

      Btr cam with there 660 lift springs and prc CNC ported heads. Has yank 3200 stall converter. 1 7/8” American racing longtubes to a 3” exhaust and magnaflow straight thru muffler that dumps under the bed. Has the 6.2 14 and up truck intake manifold and throttle body. And a Airaid intake tube uses the stock air box and has a washable filter. It’s a 5/9 drop mcaughys flip kit and spindles with adjustable struts. The frame is notched also.

    So did you leave them touching the front of the leafspring ??

      @msfgarage250  4 роки тому +1

      Lorenzo Palacios yeah I found out after the video you supposed to have them touching the leaf spring then turn them a 1/2 turn to put pressure on the bar and lock the nuts down like that.

    How are they working out for you? Have a 2015 crew cab silverado that is leveled in the front. Looking at buying these

      They make the back of the truck a little stiff but they do stop wheel hop and keep the back planted.

    Is this the flip kit since the truck is dropped?

    • @msfgarage250
      @msfgarage250  3 роки тому +1

      Yeah the flip kit is what lowers the truck.

      @@msfgarage250 truck ran 8.3 at the 1/8 in the beginning of the year. Imma go to the track tomorrow. But I was lost on how to install the front support of the traction bars lol

      Mine has been 8.1 in the 1/8 last time at the track. 12.6 1/4 mile at 109. I’m still working on figuring out the nitrous and making it as fast as possible without changing the size of the shot. I’m pretty sure a looser converter and gears is going to be my next thing.
