These bars also dramatically reduce your ground clearance. Keep that in mind if you use your truck off road, these would high center a truck quickly. Great Video!

The truck is looking great, didn't realize how much of a difference those traction bars would make. Thanks for showing us that.

Have you ever looked at the Roadmaster Active Suspension (RAS) kits?
Easy and fast to install, give the same benefits as traction bars, sway bars, and air bags.
They won't let your truck squat under a load but do not cause a stiffer ride.
I've only heard and seen good things about them and I'm definitely going to buy the kit and install it.

Man I really like what they do for the rear suspension & they look bad to the bone-my only issue w/not pulling the trigger on a set for my liLLY is ground clearance-there seems to be a sacrifice w/the things we love🙄👍🏼

I don't understand why these trucks don't come with that as part of the suspension from the factory. Just watching the real time video think about all the twisting your saving your drive shaft u-joints and everything else from twisting and keeping everything aligned as it should be! Thanks for the video I'm definitely getting these now.

I got some ordered from WCFab today, cherry red powder coat, I have a blue 2018 GMC 2500HD Duramax. For those saying ground clearance might be an issue, IMO they're easy to take off if you're going to take the truck extreme off-roading 👍🏻

My cheap fix for minimal axel wrap was putting leaf spring shackles i believe 2 inches from the leaf spring mounts towards the front of springs and tighten them down so it pinched the spring tight together and it worked well it was a heck of allot cheaper for those diesel heads with a light pocket id go this way

I’ve been running the cheapest traction bars I could find that fit my 15 Silverado Duramax and they have run flawlessly for over four years now. I could notice a reduction in lag time even just at stoplights since the axle isn’t wrapping up before applying the power to the ground and it did feel more secure in the rear. My truck is stock height and is now running a 2 inch drop shackle in the rear.

I love the functionality of them. But my problem is ground clearance, I often times get into situations where I would be concerned about those rubbing while off road. Any thoughts on airbags? My dad is running those on his 2500 HD and they've helped the ride quality and Towing, plus they don't get in the way. Love the Channel man keep it up!

I like watching this guy but I made the mistake of following his recommendation of using PROS DIESEL in Swartz creek MI and they stole everything from inside my truck,Ez lynk tuner, clothes etc also used my 60k$ 2016 Duramax as a pick and pull parts truck removing any part they figured was useful to them, greased up my light grey headliner so not only did my truck come back barely running it also had to have 10k in parts put back on it to operate normally. It was so devastating to me we had the cops come up there to file a formal complaint. With my lawyers assistance I am currently in the process of starting a suit against them. The police were very friendly and informed us that they have had many other complaints similar to mine. I wrote this to hopefully spare some others the experience.

I wanted to ask but I don't know if you had said it before, on the WifeMax is that a level kit or is it actual lift kit on her truck? I'm asking because I want to do at least a level kit on my truck but I can't lift my truck due to my wife not being able to get in the truck due to medical conditions. I will be getting an HSP traction bar kit for my LBZ Duramax soon. So I'm trying to get everything together. Hey buddy just caught your video!!! Not an expert on your year trucks but like I commented earlier this summer on one of your vids, I actually DO know the '67-'72 4x4 era quirks and needs. Long and short of it No!!!!!!!! TBars are a waist of $ UNLESS you actually do need them. Let me explain. If you're really an off-roader, puller, power enthusiast etc ---pouring the power--in your case "the coal" to your rig ----put your $ in something else. You'll know after a lot of axle wrap and wheel hop if ya need them. Weird deal. Some rigs hop --some rigs don't, I've had several way over 500 hp. rigs that had none-- boiled the 35's for a block and not one bounce. Ya gotta just play it by ear and "give 'er hell" and see. See ya Josh -- good channel !! Nice work and editing, filming etc. Jim P.S Even though I'm not a "Max" man one of these days I'll subscribe !!
