I cannot even begin to tell you how appreciative I am that you are a vegan dietitian!!
Thank you, Cassandra ❤
I'm so happy this is the first comment! This was in my recommended section and I always dread getting halfway through a video to find out it's not vegan. This made my day! Thank you Cassandra! and I just subscribed, Thank you Pick Up Limes!!

This was literally my first thought after finding Sadia! So true! Nowadays all "professionals" just keep preaching that without meat people aren't healthy or developing properly...

Love that I stumbled on your channel! While not vegan, I'm healthy and gluten-free and meal prep in a very similar fashion to you. As others have mentioned you have a calming, genuine personality and I can't wait to watch more of your videos! :) x
Downshiftology I am a subscriber to your channel and love your videos 😍😍❤️❤️😊😊😊
When your two favourite UA-camrs watch each other ❤️
I know! Awesome. :D
Downshiftology check out tipstohealthyliving on instagram for healthy gluten free fast meals. It also has vegan paleo but all are 100% gf! 😀
Downshiftology gluten free is bad for you since what they use to replace the gluten is worse than the gluten itself
Hi Sadia, could you do a video on ‘food waste Cooking’? How to improvise with leftover to prevent food waste. Also information on the interpretation of expiry dates would be useful! Food waste is a massive issue worldwide and I think you could provide some great tips! Love the channel. Groetjes uit Groningen xx
I found your channel yesterday and have been binge watching. Also downloaded a couple of recipe PDFs. I am not vegan, not even vegetarian but in the last 6 months or so, I have been feeling an undying urge to go for more plant-based meals and keep the other stuff as a once a week treat. Your channel is just the right kind of inspiration I needed. Thanks!
Oh I'm so happy to read this, Mousumee! Thanks so much for the lovely message. I hope you enjoy the recipes. There's no right way to become plant-based. Some people do it overnight and others prefer a slow transition. Take it at your pace. Wishing you all the success
COOL TIP FOR THE GARLIC!! 🧄 put the whole head of garlic in like a mason jar and shake it in a jar. All the layers will come off!!
I can't believe how jam packed this 6 min video was with great information. I not only love your calming voice but also how succicnt you are with your information. Thank you for another wonderful video :)
Thank you, Sadia! 😀 After yrs of studying food & nutrition, being terrified of nutrient loss, etc. if I preprepped, I am finally at almost 60, ready to do it under your excellent tutelage! Much appreciated, from my cottage in country Australia!! 🤗🌸💖
i really appreciate when you say "partner" 👏
I'm obsessed! Your videos are filmed so nicely, you're so sweet and you make meal prep seem so easy! Thanks for all the wonderful tips!
Thanks so much for the beautiful and kind words ❤
Completely agree.💕
get appointment soon
What brand of food processor you use ?
sameee :)
I've been going through your videos steadily and find myself more and more attracted to the vegan lifestyle. I have actually started changing my intake to include more seeds and nuts and less animal food sources.
You are an inspiration! Thank you
Oh my god! Your channel is the most beautiful thing I've came up across in a while! It's so peaceful for my mind, so minimal, so easy to watch, you talk so calmly, you just bring peace to my life. One of my favourite channels now! ❤
Thank you, Diana! :)
You start changeing my life last week when I found this channel. Not just empty story, your approach is so catchy and I started using tips from all videos subconsciously. Thank you
Aw so happy to read this, Milicah! Thanks for sharing :D
The video is not only useful, just listening that calm and wealth-minded voice is more beneficial! Many thanks for sharing those thoughts, ideas, lifestyle lectures.. A+
Thanks so much, Jana! ❤

I have to tell you that my mom has been suggesting the onion and garlic hacks to me for years. Seeing you peel and cut the garlic really reminded me of her so much!!! Thank you for this wholesome video :)
You deserve way more followers, I just came across your channel and I already love it. Keep it up! 💕
Thank you, Jenni. Just started but with this overwhelming support I'm certain it'll continue to grow. Much love form the Netherlands!
Pick Up Limes woon je in Netherland? Ik woon in Rotterdam!!!
Jenni just subbed👍🏾
Jenni s Agree!
AGREED.
Summary of this video for me: I need a food processor.
lol
...and lots of containers.
it sure helps :)
buy quality! the cheap ones are junk
Actually, you only need the processor for the Hummus. She used the processor for the onions to avoid crying, though there are some other ways to get around that if you don't want to deal with the processor...
….or a vitamix :)
By far the best meal prep video I've ever watched! These ingredients are all easily accessible, and I really like how each meal had a grain in it to make it more satisfying! Can't wait to see more videos like this!
Thanks for these tips! So helpful!
I I know
You look so healty and relax ! I'm so happy to have found your channel ! Don't give up, i've learn so much thing in such a small amouth of time ! Thank you
I found your channel when searching for one to recommend my ESL students to practice listening, but I just looooove all your tips (besides your accent) and now I´m the follower. You´re just amazing!
gosh, your voice is just so perfectly accent-free and calming. I love to watch and rewatch your videos because it just calms me down while doing mindless things.
wonderful tips
I wonder if you also took class in skid writing, broadcasting or in general were in entertainment business. The quality of your narration is better than most of the actresses on TV. And damn, you are downright beautiful. Like, seriously beautiful.
I love that you meal prep by just making it easier to cook fresh food. Great, great video!
Thanks so much ❤
Lazy Girls Kitchen this is super helpful indeed! most of the meal preps videos i have watched made me doubt their healthy benefits after let's say, 3 days
You literally had like 110k followers yesterday omg, I'm in awe of you. You deserve it honestly. I love your videos.
The garlic and onion prep idea is BRILLIANT! I use them both pretty much every day so it makes so much sense to have them prepped before hand! Can't believe I didn't think of that before! Thanks girl! I just discovered your channel last night and I am so happy to have found you!
I'm in love with you. Your tips are really helpful, simple and wise. Thank you so much.
I think it would be helpful to tell us how long the food can last in the fridge without getting bad. It would help knowing so we don't make to much food.
I started watching your channel this january and it has inspired me so much to be a healthier, happier person! At the beginning of the month i weighed 248 and now i weigh 238. This is only a start! I can say thank you for getting my mind in the right place!
Omg!

hi Sadia! I'm so glad I came across your channel. I love your content and I love the fact that you are a minimalist + pro dietician
Thanks for the kind words, Gaby - happy you stumbled upon it as well :)
Hi Sadia! I am new to the plant-based, and I just came across your channel. Your videos are incredibly inspiring!! I love how-you're well-versed in your subject area, but welcoming to those new to it. I am not judgmental of others, even in the slightest when it comes to eating. I just want to make better food choices for myself and my family. I just really appreciate how you meet people where they are and offer practical advice along with all of the free resources resources. Thank you so much for taking the time to put these together and sharing it for free. I know my husband and I will be faithful viewers of youth channel🤗
i actually do have a tip & trick of my own, but i think you can say it is already covered in your other video - i love coriander (cilantro for americans), but i SUCK with plants, literally everything dies within days since i buy it if it's green coming to my house. SO, as a huge fan of tom ka ghai, i tried to figure out a way to both have coriander, lots of it, fresh for garnish, not only seeds and ground seeds, but also not have it dead by the time i finish the soup. i bought a bunch of cilantro and chopped it, packed it into plastic packets to store them on my freezer's door - perfect! now i can have a tonne of cilantro if i want, on anything i want, and not need to worry about it to die or wither. it's not AS nice as 100% fresh one, not nearly as aromatic, but the taste remains :)
love your channel! subscribed!
Thank you, Serena :)
Your voice is so beautiful, the editing is perfect and I actually feel like these are doable healthy habits. Subscribed!
Just subscribed, not only because I want to see more of your meal ideas but it's your voice tone that make me feel like a meditation. One of the great YT channels :D

When I grow up I wanna look like you
Your style is my favourite. I glad that I found you.
Btw I am girl💙
Hi you are my new health coach😍!
I am in L O V E! Thanks for the video
Sadia, I just found your website and videos 3 days ago and already made your nutella, hummus, fruit chia jam, Cole slaw and the no bake peanut butter oat bar. Everything tastes AMAZING (I really mean AMAZING) and so healthy! I feel so good to provide my kids real food! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your recipes and promoting healthy eating!
So glad I found your channel. Beautiful videos non complicated prepping. Thanks 🌷
I don't eat onions anymore (FODMAP) but when I did I wore my swimming goggles to chop them. Yes, you look silly but no tears. I also open a window to clear the vapours and don't take the goggles off till I'm in another room or the vapours in the air will just make my eyes water.
Also, if you want to batch chop a load with a food processor, raw onions can be easily frozen for future use. x
Sadia you are such a beautiful person and your videos are freaking great. Thanks for posting them.
Thanks so much, Rachael :)
Hi Sadia, I came across your channel yesterday and have binge watched quite a few videos. Love the tips and more importantly love the vibe that you give off. So positive and calm! 🙂

I really loved your channel and your blog. I got very emotional when I read about your vegan story. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and tips for a healthier plant based diet.🙏🏻👏🏻
Thank YOU for the lovely comment, Cassia ❤
I love your channel. You're super informative and knowledgeable. I've learned so much just by watching every so often. Keep up the awesome job!
Wow! all your food choices are so wonderful.Thank yoy for sharing.
You had me at "I'm a registered dietitian and nutritionist."
Tip on cutting onions! I've tried the gym in your mouth and other things but rubbing white vinegar on the cutting board before cutting your onions really works! Try it 😊
I'm so glad I've found you, I adore your style and your videos are helping me so much. Just what I needed! Thank you so so much. Silvia
Your videos are so informative, perfect and chilled out. Thank you so much for the amazing content.
Quick tip: if you put your onions inside the fridge before chopping them, they won't make you cry !
To get rid of the garlic smell from your fingers, grab a knife (or something metallic) and gently rub your fingers on the blade while you're rinsing them. Then smell again... Nothing ! Magic !
"magic" was my first thought when I tried this too - thanks for sharing the tip :)
Franckie I am going to try this ... lemons ., baking soda .. toothpaste nothing worked
Lashlove16 You'll see ;)
great tip, gotta try that! i usually quickly grab a few drops of dish soap to clean my fingers, and garlic/onion smellies go away.
something i've often done is pre-mince my garlic (if you put in a head or two, there's enough for the food processor to do this nicely!), and then store it in an airtight container with a little olive oil drizzled over it, which keeps it fresh.
lovely channel - great content, personality and presentation, thank you for the fantastic quality!
Hallel HaLevi. you need to use garlic in oil quickly b/c it can develop botulism
Hello Sadia, I always struggle with finding time to prepare my meals. I am starting my meal preps and your videos are really inspirational. Thank you
It is beautiful to see you talk. This is the first time i have subscribed or commented on someone's video..
Love the video, I only have one question tho: how long does everything stay fresh in the fridge?
Nice channel.
This is the first time I've subscribed to a channel this fast.
Great job! And thanks for all the wonderful ideas.
Love ur methods of guiding and also the way u present ur idea and stuff , just keep it up
Hi Sadia, can you do a video of how to cook different legumes please? thanks a lot :) Really looking forward for more interesting videos
Personal notes:
Meal prepping
1. Peel and quarter onions, blend in food processor till coarsely chopped, high heat (use a little olive oil, if sticking to bottom of pan use water) cook to caramelize, pack in glass tiffin and store. (stores for 4 days in fridge, try to finish in 3)
2. Peel garlic, in tiffin. (stores for 1 week in fridge, try to finish in 6 days)
3. Soak legumes/pulses after rinsing, overnight. Cook beforehand. Lentils cook faster than beans, quinoa cooks faster than brown rice. (stores for 3 days in fridge, try to finish in 2) In glass tiffin.
4. Blend cooked chickpeas/beans to make hummus and store. (classic hummus stores for 5 days in fridge, try to finish in 4). Store in jar, tahini also in jar.
5. Cut and store veggies. (depends on vegetable, carrots 2 weeks raw, bell peppers 2 days raw, etc). Store in glass tiffins.
6. Peel super ripe bananas, quarter, cover with parchment paper to avoid sticking and put it in a freezer, store in box then freezer again (you can batch any fruit like this, duration depends on fruit) Store in glass tiffins.
7. Make granola. (Store in airtight jar for 3 weeks)
I've never really been into watching youtube videos but I stumbled upon one and now i'm hooked. Your videos are so easy to watch (and not annoying like most other youtubers) and I feel so inspired to eat and live better already.
You are the first youtuber I watch that talks about healthy food and gives advice who is actually a nutricionist! Keep doing it, well done!!!
I'm curious to know whether these meal preps retain any nutrients and if so ,for how many days ? I'm from India and according to ayurveda, any cooked meal is best be eaten in under 3 hours to get the best benefits and nutrients out if it.
I can listen to you all day :)
Your videos are so relaxing to watch for some reason, love them by the way
Wow I love your informative videos! And your articles, wow, you even link scientific papers for more information, you are awesome! Thank you for all you do!
Here is a tip for peeling garlic really quick : put the cloves in an airtight container, shake it vigorously for 60 seconds and tada, all peeled! and no smelly fingers. it's magic.
Love it! Thanks so much from sharing the tip :D
I dislike using garlic for that reason and the smell would linger on my hands all night. I'm going to have to try this!
You look so beautiful 😻 not the cute kind of beautiful, more like the breath taking kind of beautiful💄I really feel happy watching you,, i hope you don't get me wrong or anything. but anyway i love your video and happy to find you channel 💙

Your batch onion chopping is truly so smart! Thanks for this wonderful tip. I also love to caramelize onions in advance for stirring into recipes, or scrambling with morning eggs. Love your videos!
The onions are good for how long this way??????
In the fridge about 1 week :)
we fry onions and it can last for two months
Do you think we could freeze them ?
