I'm 15 and thank my parents for always playing music that ranged from the 70's to 90's. I knew literally almost all if not all of these songs and the artists. I even got my own playlist devoted to older music.

I disagree. Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Al Green. Levi Stubbs. Teddy Pendergrass. Well them guys were bringing that charisma that Luther didn’t have . Luther would be the guy play to get Lady l’s attention but the other guy you play when you ultimate with the ladies and in relationships unless you was in a lgbt relationship. But Luther is definitely no joke and in my top ten. And my top ten is interchangeable depend on the mood and situation

I actually heard Rock With You on the radio on my way home from work today. I reached home halfway through the song, but sat parked in my car outside my house and listened to the rest of it. You said these songs are synonymous with black family BBQ's, but for this white kid from England, these songs (especially the first half of the playlist) were at every family wedding, christening, or any other gathering. These songs truly transcend any kind of background, and it was so fun seeing you guys have a great time listening to them. Music like this simply doesn't get written these days, and the world is all the poorer for it.
Earth, Wind, and Fire is ALWAYS at the top of my playlist. I love the reactions of the kids in the van when I am driving my daughter's soccer team around and they all start groovin' to it.
Its cool seeing how much y'all enjoyed yourselfs. You could tell you were just having fun and groovin. One of my favorite videos on the channel and I've been around since the logic-thon (I wouldn't be opposed to another one).
Man I love all kinds of music but old school R&B might be my favorite genre of all. Just like you said, everybody always put in so much effort to the vocal performance and the musicianship/song writing was unmatched. I mainly watch this channel for your metal reactions but I had a huge smile on my face the entire video. You guys gotta do another one with your curated favorites.

I’m a 43 year old white freethinker from Kentucky. I love and appreciate all genres of music. My mother raised me listening to everything from Country, Rock, R&B Soul, and in the early 80’s I started listening to Rap (LL is the king of Rap! IMO) me and my wife love listening to your reviews and I have actually fallen in love with some stuff that I had never heard of on here that’s found it’s way onto my playlist. One of my favorite songs of the old school R&B genre is by The Manhattans. Kiss And Say Goodbye. I’m sure you’ve heard it. If your going to review that genre, it should definitely be top of the list because it’s an unbelievable song with so much feel! Thank you guys for what you do!
