Victor, I am from Palestine, Gaza. We have been at war for 7 months now, and since then I have been out of training. I had pull up 15... push up 85... dips 31. muscle-up 2 Until now, I cannot train, but as soon as the war ends, I will come back stronger than before, but we want the method of training to return to be legendary in your own way. I will wait for your next videos, brother.
Every athlete has an injury, soon or later, especially the top level ones. Glad to hear that your recovery is going well and steady Vik! Keep going up and forward Bulgarian brother ;) BTW the docs recommend to do least 1-2 weeks of offload, at least once per year. That should be a time when you dont do your usual trainings but something relaxing, completely different and with light intensity. Probably that was what you were missing in general.
One of top calisthenics athlete like Onizuka have bicep surgery too, than he comeback stronger. Can't imagine after you 99% recovered. Something amazing or even unbelievable skill will coming 🔥
Consistency is what bringed you back! At such times, because everybody know sh*t happens in life,a man must stay a man.Swallow the problem, and move forward. That's what I call the power of will and what being a man consists of! Greetings brother, we're bout to see each other in the park of Sveta Troica soon enough!
Hey Victor, I’ve been dealing with overtraining for the past 3 months( no training at all for 2 months now). Slowly getting back my strength in both of my shoulders. Had severe muscle inflammation in both of my shoulders, which took about 6 weeks to heal. I took the break way too late, when I totally lost motivation, because my strength was only decreasing and I thought I had to do more which was crucial for my injury, but now I’m back into training with some fun stuff like handstand and some minor intesinty exercises. Almost had 10 sec straddle planche last December, but I wanted too much too soon. Now I will take training much more seroius, look after myself and listen to my body. You helped me a lot especially with the mental part🙏🏼 I can’t thank you enough Greetings from🇩🇪
Hey, yes, definitely you need to listen to your body. It's like driving a car - you need to know when to go left and right. I'm really happy for you and wish you great progress. I'm glad the video touched you and thanks for your comment.🙏
Currently I have some pain in the tip of my right elbow, I think it's a tendinitis and I have it from 3x per week doing calisthenics and 3x a week tenis at an almost performance level. It's been 3 months since I stopped bouth, I had been to some sessions of fizio terapy that represent: lazers, magnets and so one, and it really sucks because I didn't really find a specialist to tell me exactly what to do to get back on track.
I started calisthenics but half a year later got an autoimmune flare up, and lost an insane amount of weight and all the strength that I had gained in those months. I saw the sport as a analogy for lifting yourself up, and so I did. I got back, recovered all my weight in 3 months, now I am in the best shape of my life and getting better by the week! When you have an autoimmune disease you feel you have no control over your body, but with calisthenics your mind and body work in unison.
hey viktor, thank you for sharing that, even if i know it must have been very hard at some moments, it probably was even harder than i can imagine, especially mentally. So thanks for sharing and for your humility man.I can see in the video you took the rehab very seriously with insane discipline and patience and it has paid off, with quick recovery. Wishing you the best for the future, and keep on inspiring us man. Much love .
Yo' the value of this human being goes beyond his physical strength... A real legend, Master Viktor!! Hope to meet you some day in person. Peace out, bruh ☮
Yeah legend, loved the whole video and story. And btw loved this as well, you began training for Zanetti after 11 years of completing Calisthenics!!!!! While most of the young guys/or people currently getting into SW go for Zanetti just after 2-3 years of Calisthenics and thus severely get injured easily ! And this is a lesson for all of us to NOT Rush the process bcoz you got injured even at such high level of 11 years and that too going slowly, we all can get injured pretty easily trying any move we aren't currently ready for with just few months into Calisthenics. Love from Bharat (INDIA) bro !!!!!!!!!! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
@@ViktorKamenov when this trigger point arrived I had pain even in normal front lever hold. After years of come and go pain I had only pain in touch front lever where the muscle with the trigger was taking more pressure. After all that a smart physiotherapist and friend of mine detected that this was never an injury and managed to defeat it. Since that time it never came back and front lever finally progressed after 5 years
@@ΣωτήρηςΘάνος Could you tell me a little more about that? How did you stop the pain? The closer I am to the front lever touch position, the more pain I have in my back, but only on the left side. With a straight arm, when I do a normal front lever, it doesn't really hurt.

Congrats on the recovery many people would quit I was getting frustrated on my planche journey and wanted to rush things this video really made take things slow, especially because I'm 1,90 tall thank you for this!
Great video, I will use some of your Tipps to also get back on my old lv. Since I broke my neck 2 weeks ago due to a trampoline warmup fail. Unfortunately my left shoulder is also kinda injured. After the surgery I wasn’t able to lift my left arm because my outside rotator where completely down. Fortunately I recover really fast, cause of the help with my Physio and good nutrition. Stay safe guys, don’t do any stupid things which don’t belong to our sport 🤝
After having shoulder surgery 3 days ago I am right at the beginning of your way. Feeling miserable. But I‘ll work the hell out of that shoulder to achieve my old levels. Thank you for this video.
Hey! I'm really glad that you recovered and uploaded this video 🙏👍. I also tore the long head of the biceps in october 2023. I'm recovering well I think, but I don't want to rush with this. I'm doing high reps calisthenics training for a few months which is working fine (and I really love it, several years ago I also trained like this). But at first I was so confused to what to do. I don't want to go on details (because it's a very long story), but the first doctor said it is not torn by touching my biceps (and I directly asked if is it torn, because I was scared that it is.) at the urgency. The second doctor wasn't sure if it was a partial or a total tear (one week later). And only the third one which was an orthopedic specialist said that it's a full tear and he didn't understand how they couldn't tell me... By the time 2 weeks already passed, but he said I was lucky and he explained why and without a surgery I will be able to build back the strength... But at first I didn't even know what kind of doctor should I looking for. I think it would be nice if you could make a video of the physiotherapy routine you did for your recovery. I think it could be helpful for others.
Thanks for sharing your story. When you have such a problem, always search for an orthopedic doctor because that's what they specialize in. Also, insist on getting an MRI scan so they can see the real situation and not guess. Many doctors make decisions only based on symptoms, which in some cases are just not enough. Also, make sure you go to at least 2-3 orthopedists before making any decisions. Two weeks later is still fine for surgery, however, more than that is not a good option. Sure, I can share my physiotherapy routines. Thanks again for your comment and support. I wish you good luck. Soon you will be fully recovered!🍀 P.S. Can you share how you tore your biceps?
@@ViktorKamenov Thank you for your answer! For sure. At that time I was training for one arm pull up with some rubber band assistance. 3 times a week, but not too hard. I already achieved the OAP some years ago and I know that I can do that again. I remember it was a saturday I did my training for the OAP, and because it was a sunny day I got outside and did some bodyweight training with some higher rep pull ups. On that specific day here they collected the electric waste and we had an old (heavyweight 😜) TV. I thought that I carry that to the nearest collection point in my hands. But I had to tie the TV to a dip belt with 2 ropes and that way I had a comfortable grip. I started to walk towards the collection point (which was like 300-400 meters away), but I had to rest. And the rest was that I stopped for a while, but I had to hold the ropes with my hands which I really tired out my biceps. After that I had a big soreness in my biceps. 2 days later I had my next OAP session. I felt that I'm tired and my biceps still sore, but I thought I still push through. And in my last set on my right arm I felt that something snapped. And my first thought was that it torn. But I wasn't sure... I wrote some details to have a better context why it torn. Thinking back it was stupid, but it's part of my journey. And I learned my lesson.
It's great to see that you are regaining your strength and doing planches again.:) I believe that the mental attitude that you are talking about should be highlighted and mentioned in other athletes' content as well. We often only see the crazy combos, motivational boosts, and discipline in videos, but the mentality shouldn't be neglected, too. Your message and conclusions serve as an experience for the community as well, as we are not that lost in the mental game. I hope you will upload videos about mentality stuff etc., or to be more active on YT. Keep Going, Bro!;)

Fortunately I am being able to fully recover without it but it has been two months already, still not able to get back in the bar though.. thank you for this video, feels good to know that I am not alone, and it happens event to the best
The road to the top is full of obstacles. You're not alone, It can happen to everyone. It's great that you don't need surgery to fully recover. Hope the video helps you understand the proper way of rehabilitation - slow and deliberate. Wishing you good luck and a swift return, stronger than before! 💪
Was completely shocked when u got injured. But very happy you came back. Hope to see you get back to 100% safely bro! I got injured too during my ring dips, not serious but yeah was very scared. But slowly worked back over 2 weeks, and back to doing ring dips. Still have the pain, but way better, will definitely be more careful and more methodical in my sessions 🙏
Thanks for your comment! Good that it's not serious. In fact, it teaches you a lesson that, if properly learned, can help you avoid bigger injuries. Everything happens with a reason. Wishing you a good recovery and new heights in the sport. All the best!🙏

Hello, I am from Vietnam. Thank you for motivating me and changing my way of thinking about injuries. After watching this, I feel much better, thank you. I currently have a wrist injury (TFCC), because I do not have the means to see a physical therapist and also to buy Collagen or magnesium supplements, I am forced to learn how to do physical therapy myself. I would like to ask you, when should I do physical therapy? Is the pain high when practicing? What is the appropriate intensity of training and rest?. I know I am asking you difficult questions, but I have no other choice because I do not have the means to see a physical therapist. I hope you will try to answer for me, sorry for my poor English. Thank you ❤️
@@trungnguyentien8014 I am glad that the video was helpful! 🙌 The best advice I can give you is to go to physiotherapy in all cases of pain. Think of it as an investment in your health, which is the most important thing. However, if you truly don’t have the option, at least listen to your body. Identify which exercise is causing the pain, and for a period of time, avoid it or perform it using lower-intensity progressions. Wishing you a speedy recovery. 🍀
welcome back, ive got a question, do you think you could beat scarlux in competition freestyle(since he doesnt have dynamics), in your prime, or are his ring combos too much?
@@ViktorKamenov thanks for answering, also i have abother question, who do you think in terms of pure relative strength statics and such is the best in the world? My immediate guess would be scarxlus, and maybe you and hristov if we're talking pbars but i wanted ti get a pros opinion
I just finished the attempt, I realized that when i did the supine plc the misalignment of my legs did not happen. it only happen when i do a normal plc🤔

Hope the video helps you understand the proper way of rehabilitation - slow and deliberate. Wishing you good luck and a swift return, stronger than before! 💪
Best come back ❤️❤️ legend hope you all recovery see you again with another level
It’s coming 🙏

Yes! Thanks for your support! 🙏
That's really insperating ❤ thanks for sharing your ups and downs
Always! 🙏
Do you think that a lot of planking with very open arms like Zanetti was the cause of your torn biceps?
It was the speed of performance
You have a very powerful mind Viktor! An inspiration to us all
Thank you! It’s all mental.
@@ViktorKamenov expected nothing less from someone who's been in the game for 12 years. See you soon in Scotland🏴
My idol
Welcome back

spasiba sa video viktor
inspiring!
Great to know!
Welcome back and stronger 💪🏻💪🏻
Appreciate your comment, brother! 🔥

The only thing I can say is 'A true calisthenics legend'

Inspiring brotha! Amazing comeback 👊👊👊
Thank you!👊
Really nice video, bro, thank you for sharing your journey🤝

Legend
welcome back, ive got a question, do you think you could beat scarlux in competition freestyle(since he doesnt have dynamics), in your prime, or are his ring combos too much?
ur an inspiration man
For ground and p-bars - yes. For rings - no.
@@ViktorKamenov thanks for answering, also i have abother question, who do you think in terms of pure relative strength statics and such is the best in the world? My immediate guess would be scarxlus, and maybe you and hristov if we're talking pbars but i wanted ti get a pros opinion
@@ViktorKamenov tho i agree you clear on ground
When I hold the straddle planche my legs are also misaligned, idk why can u give me some tips to fix it😢
Work in front of a mirror and make a lot of videos. Think on how you feel the movement when it’s performed right.
I just finished the attempt, I realized that when i did the supine plc the misalignment of my legs did not happen. it only happen when i do a normal plc🤔
Legend🥺❤️🔥🔥
nice to see you back man 🔥stay safe !
On my way! Thank you 🙏
Awesome comeback, your mindset is amazing, but I have a question, you didnt feel any pain or discomfort the weeks/days before the injury happened? Was it all of a sudden?
Yep, no pain at all.
Amazing 💪
💪

Come back stronger🦾
Soon 💪
