Old bikes have far more character i agree. But if you think they are faster then Sir, you are dreaming.. Put that against a CR85 or KTM85. Even a 90's CR80 would rip it a new sphincter 😅
@@beardsdirtbikes4059 I rode a 1978 YZ80 no telling how many hours, probably 2 or 3K. It hit 13,000 every time I got on it. I don't know what you would have to do to blow it up.
My friend had one here in the states. It was yellow and black. We would ride it all day, every day. Thanks for the great video time travel!!👍🏼
Great! glad it brought back happy memories 👍
Runs great
We still have minis...so fun
Man I should could have used one of those back then. The good old days ❤
🙋🤗✌️🇵🇭 two stroke for Life
Absolutely 👍
I don't give a shit what they say about present bikes ,bikes back in the 70s and 80s were much more powerful than the crap they churn out now !
And bags more character too!
14 yr old and just got a 98 kdx 220. Thing rips. And I agree the new stuff can't even compare to old bikes.
@@DirectoutdoorsTV great bikes! Check out my videos of my old kdx 220 and my current 200

Peak horsepower @12,500 RPMs
Maximum RPM 15,000
but people are afraid they're overreving them
Especially with older bikes, worried somethings gonna let go!

Buddy , you think you’re safe without a helmet. Not. Ok ,that sounds like my ‘78.
Riding without a helmet...really clever.
You’re SO cool. How would he know about safety without you
Thé réal Wheel is too big
It’s a 14” rear wheel which is what they came with from factory
Not a 78
Why?
i guess it is. honestly, i didnt know they came in white. i thought only yellow in 78. learn something new everyday :)
