Yeah Chicago's hospital in the UK must be effing massive if its goes half way across che US and completely the stretch of the Atlantic pond to the UK wow

i was born and raised on the southside of chicago. even at 31, i still love my hometown for the good and bad. I don't condone the violence but i will never disown the place my family is from and where i am from.
My grandpa lived by 42nd and California. German immigrant living with a bunch of polish and Lithuanians. He once rode his bike from there to palatine and back on northwest highway
I tend to like European and Asian cities like more like Amsterdam and Tokyo….However, for an American city it’s pretty good. The beautiful Lake Michigan really adds the sparkle to the city.
Grew up in the mid 60's thru the 80's in Chicago's South Side, a few blocks from Marquette Park and about a mile from Midway Airport. The BEST place to grow up - a million kids in the neighborhood and tons of awesome memories. Went back and lived on the North side after living out-of-state for some years but the city hadn't lost any of it's charm. It'll always be my home even though I'm not living there any more.

I am a Cincinnatian, and yes, go to Chicago. My family hails from there in part, and is my the third favorite city I have ever been to. Catch a Cubs game, the facilities suck, at least of 2000, but even Yankee Stadium didn't have the atmosphere if Wrigley Field.
A large number of the neighborhoods outside of the Loop were originally their own towns before incorporating into the city, giving basically all of the neighborhoods outside of downtown a hometown feel. Which is why we sometimes call it a town.
The appeal of Chicago is that there’s not that many tourists. New York has so many tourists that the city feels somewhat fake. Chicago has a tendency to feel more real when you easily see more locals.
