What was your favorite trick play this season?
North Texas vs Arkansas fake fair catch, I was at a watching party for that game and we all went nuts! we made an SEC team look awful it was amazing.
Probably Lil Jordan Humphreys jump pass TD against OU in the Red River Shootout. You didn't include it in this video but it was pretty awesome.

I’d like to see a team just do straight trick plays all game. The defense would have no idea of what was coming
Trick plays are risky in their nature. While they are fun to watch when they succeed, they are *severely* punishing if they fail. It's kind of like fake punts. Even if you succeed 10 times, that one time it fails can straight up lose the game.

Steve N that’s why u audible and mix it up real good. There’s a counter to every defensive play it’s just knowing what to call. It would be hard to have a productive offense but every once in a while ones gonna hit paydirt.

Then you would enjoy watching rugby. Except for the forward passes, all the ball handling in these clips is just normal play in rugby.

Up 24 at the end of the 3rd on an exhausted lower division Murray State team is definitely an effective time for a SEC school to call a trick play. Can't argue with the likely effectiveness of that call.

That fake fair catch was nice, kind of reminds me of a hidden ball trick in baseball as you have to sell it 100%.
I liked it, but in the NFL they'd blow it dead saying "He gave himself up"....

The North Texas one. I was monitoring the game in my phone and laughing my butt off while at work. That game helped prove my company needs a new college team to support.

Tedford is has Fresno State back in a big way. W back to back double digit win seasons and almost went undefeated this year. Signed a big time 4 star receiver from here in Fresno that happens to be teammates with the number 1 running back in America for 2019. Gonna have to fight off all the other big West Coast schools though. But of tedford can bring in both of those guys that would be massive. Decent amount of talent comes out of Fresno States backyard in central CA but past coaches could never keep them home

A select few of these were actually defended pretty well. It was just a great throw and/or catch by the offense.
My high school coach was good a making trick plays that worked. We scared other teams when we went for it on fourth down or two point conversions cause we had a lot of trick plays to run

The north Texas vs Arkansas moment for me will go down in infamy. I don't know if you can call it a trick play or just sorry defense by Arkansas? But I remember watching it on TV laughing my behind off!
Some of these are trick plays, but a lot of them are just good plays. They’re all entertaining but most of them were just well thought out plays, not really tricks.
The one at 0:26 is a fantastic trick play, one of the better ones I’ve seen.
