The context is probably buried with most of the rest of the AFL highlights from that time. Even the Tonight Show in 1962 doesn't have a lot of still-existing footage because studios at the time felt that the shows were worthless for posterity and taped over the them or threw them out. I'm not sure I have seen 10 AFL highlights in my life.

Look at video of "greatest plays called back by TD" and you will see a similar play with Denver and Pittsburgh. Denver got flagged for too many men on the field.

If there would've been any time left on the clock it would've been a first down from the spot of the recovery (as it was behind the spot of the fumble).
