Tyler schweigert omg thank you
Tyler schweigert thx man I needed that
Tyler schweigert Thank you for 17:15
I love that the Jets best trick play is a completely insane fake punt that involves the receiver nearly being tackled by someone on his own team. Very on-brand.
That mf said "you WILL convert" and pushed him over the first down
The Eagles one probably needs to be changed. 😂
KeystoneStateEagle facts
I know right, I mean the Philly special! It's the best play in the NFL. That's coming from a Vikings fan
Daniel Olsen the vid was produced before the super bowl.
This video was uploaded November 2017. Hopefully an updated version is made soon that will include that play!
Liam Martin right
You know it's good when you gotta watch it multiple times to figure out how the ball even got there.
Greatest trick play for the packers: Lobbing a prayer down field
I AGREE!!!!!..... THERE'S A FEW PLAYS I STILL HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT WATCHING THE VIDEO.... THAT'S TRULY A TRICK PLAY WHEN I STILL CAN'T SEE IT WATCHING THE VIDEO...,😂😂😂😂❤❤
That Rams punt return (14:00) is a work of art.
Copied a comment
Best trick play by the Jaguars was the 2017 season, making us believe that they didn't actually suck
Certainly are fooling some folks this season.
That very last play where Moss laterals back over his head to Williams was so perfect. You can tell he was also a great basketball player the way he led Williams with that lateral.
I watched that live on tv as it happened and the thing that shocked me is that Mo actually caught it. Idk if that was scripted but it sure looked like it.
Under-rated comment!
That Vikings Play and Trubisky Play was just so beautiful
Texans trick play: draft the best players in the first round then release them after 5 years.
Cant believe eagles lost
This aged like fine wine bye hopkins
Better than the Panters. their "Trick Plays" are usually... 3 and 12, hand it to the fullback and run up the middle for 2 yards. No one ever sees that one coming.
10:42 Someone got a little excited. He almost toppled over his own guy.
That Randy Moss play - beautiful.19:20
That lateral by Moss still amazes me every time I see it.
Love my VIKES!!
@@davidmcallister9263 a flag is a penalty flag. it's yellow. any ref can throw one when they see a penalty has occurred. There are a ton of rules and penalties aren't so uncommon. The penalties can be called on either team (offensive or defensive) and you won't know for sure until you hear the referee announce the call. Pretty much all offensive penalties nullify the result of the play, so you have to wait until the flag is explained before you can celebrate/cry.
@@davidmcallister9263 Throws down a yellow card!
It was just amazing watching him play. He had such a distinctive run, would know it’s him even if didnt and that is not the case with any other player for me.
@@davidmcallister9263 .
The fact that Randy Moss was involved in 2 of these plays makes me happy.
Freak rules. #84 4eva
14:33 "That looks like something on the internet with all these trick plays!"
Ah, I love the smell of irony in the morning!
This is most definitely not irony...
Irony would be if the caster would have been proven wrong - like calling a game forgettable right before a highlight that makes it memorable.
DrZaius3141 I love the smell of coincidence in the morning!
Hey EA, where are these on Madden, huh?
The ones that ARE on madden never even work unless you play on rookie
@Cat Lover laterals are alot of fun tbh I figured out how to do hook-n-ladder last year lol
The Killer Clown madden 20 they all work up to all-madden
I’m the 69th like lmao
@@krishankvangala7757 I hi
Pat McAfee was amazing at on side kicks it's almost like a dying art
rule changes have made it harder to accomplish.
Joseph Howell harder? Shit is damn near impossible now.
Pat also hit and made tackles..I love that dude. He had balls for a punter.
And he's funny. Would love to meet the guy
That Chicago pitch to Trubisky was a thing of beauty.
Two of those highlights involved Randy Moss brilliantly pulling the fat out of the fire on broken plays. That lateral back to Brady was perfectly thrown. So was the toss to Moe Williams, for that matter.
Saints 2nd half onside kick off in the Super Bowl has got to be one of the gutsiest calls made by a HC
The most famous trick play in NFL history for sure.
Randy Moss is perhaps the best ever receiver in NFL History.
no.
Very cool video! I LOVE the genius of trick plays
Stafford's might be my favorite. I remember watching that live and being like, OMG does that count?
Those two Moss plays make me want to see a compilation of great recoveries from broken plays (the Moss Toss might be number one).
That Randy Moss "assist" will always be 😳 in my book. Savage.
I love this stuff, and it’s awesome to hear John Madden’s great commentary 😊
One of the best trick plays I ever saw was in college ball. The Ducks were on 4th down and set to punt. The snap goes and the kicker jumps up as if reaching for a bad snap then turns and runs up field. Everyone runs to recover the bad snap, but there had been no snap. By the time everyone realized what had happened, the center was half way to the end zone.
Huh? But the center has to snap the ball for the play to begin. So how does the center have the ball to run up field? He had to have hiked it to somebody 1st.
You never saw me as a kid playing backyard football. If I was tackled hard I got up limping like i was hurt bad but they would throw me the ball and i would take off like a rocket. The only problem when I broke my toe no one believed me. lol
Not to nitpick, but the Tampa Bay play was not a "trick play" it was a "broken play".
Also, it was only for a first down, where the majority of these are for touchdowns.
agreed..... it was a play of desperation rather than a designed play
The Bucs have a long tradition of broken plays. It's such a habit, they may look scripted...
Maybe that’s what they want you to think. 🤔
They tricked themselves 😂😂😂
15:49 what a tackle
I hate you.
The Titans "Music City miracle" has to be one of the most controversial plays in NFL history. 99% of Bills fans swear it's a forward pass and 99% of Titans' fans swear it's a lateral. I am a big Titans' fan since day one and when i first saw it i thought it was a forward pass but after seeing different angles it looks legal. You need to play the Titans' network to get the full effect. You should play every home network.
Saints onside kick to start the 2nd half of the Super Bowl is probably the gutsiest call in NFL history given whats on the line.
Hey SBS! How about a video Offensive Fumbles Recovered for a TD? Keep it up!
1:17 *reads his lips* LMAO
King Joffrey what they say?
Last thing he said was "fuck me" it looked like 🤣🤣
The one guy who refuses to wear pink because he’s afraid it’ll make him look gay gets caught saying the gayest thing imaginable 😂
And I guess they did 😂😂😂
How did you not go with the saints getting a touchdown on a three lateral play?! That onside kick was sloppy luck but those laterals were once in a lifetime art
I think the Super Bowl call outweighs that. And I agree. It was a momentum shift right at the start of the 2nd half in the SB.
I watched this game as it happened, think it was the drive before this when Marino was mad he couldn’t go for it on 4th down lol. Jets got a big lead early and no one thought the Dolphins were going to come back and win it lol
I figured that would be the one for the Packers. I also remember it being the ballsiest call from McCarthy as it was 4th and 26 from the 27 yard line. Adding that to the fact it was against the Bears was just the best thing ever for a Packers fan.
Browns best trick play.
Winning a football game. This hurts to say as a Browns fan. :(
Anthony Machingo I feel you I’m a 49ers fan
Anthony Machingo lol
😂
Anthony Machingo well they won against the jets a while ago. I cried myself to sleep
dumb/absent defense doesn't make it a great trick play
I love the simplicity of the Lions one. Stafford just giving it a little jump and extending his arm.
When you can tell your team’s greatest trick play isn’t very recent based on the audio and video.
man that rams one is gorgeous
The Falcons best one was when they tricked me into thinking my favorite team would win the super bowl
Oof
lol
2:05 they asked Ingram how he knew what Marino was going to do, and he said, "Dan just gave me THE LOOK." How great is that?!
Never gets old, this video. I watch it at least twice a year. 🍻.
The rams return gets me every time 😂😂
That Bears' play design was amazing.
Good trick plays
GREAT stuff! Thanks!!!
that bears 2pt conversion was dope
0:40 that's like in Bugs Bunny cartoons where he would hit his own pitches lol
Great vid! Thanks for making it. I subbed
What a run by Wilson at :04. Is this the only time this play has been done like this? They made it look so easy. Love your videos-keep up the great work.
Great idea on the vid
"What a game plan dialed up by Eric Mangini."
Never thought I would ever hear those words in that order.
This was fun. Great post.
Great video! Thanks
19:18 The Viking miracle
Do NFL players last touchdown
Richard Glenn
What did he do to deserve your vicious insult
Richard Glenn Don’t have to use profanity he was just giving an idea, dumbfuck.
Hey Guys do NOT do mean comments or I will report u but Lizard and Glade u have nothing to do with dis
@@FxTxL How do you "do mean comments"?
@@FxTxL its good idea for a vid but dont act like a snowflake and say youre going to tell on someone because you dont like their comment. Grow up!
The Saints greatest trick play, maybe. But to open the second half of the Super Bowl with an onside kick, by far took balls of steel and it worked. If it hadn't, I think it would have killed them.
Best one certainly considering the venue.
Yeah, I figured that you'd use that clip for the Steelers. We used that play quite a bit, given that, as the commentator said in the clip, Antwaan Randle El was QB in college.
I was there when Jon Ryan got that trick play.. Man, it was electric.
As a Seahawks fan, I’m sad to say that I can probably tell what the Rams one is...
Tell this what year was that games wow??
I remember seeing DAN THE MAN do that. It wasn't planned. He gave his receiver "THE LOOK"! and he knew it was coming.
Rest in Peace Steve McNair
Music City miracle 💪
when u get your ankles snatched by the browns punter
Brady Beard 😂😂
yo 10/10 video. i love you ♥
I was at the Ravens game against the raiders and it was my First Ravens home game. That play was just as good as seeing it the first time at M&T bank stadium!
Rams trick punt return 13:56
Stedman Bailey did a great over the shoulder catch of the punted football. It was not noticed much because of the fake on the other side of the field. A few great blocks by the return Rams teammates made it happen too. As the announcer stated, even the cameramen were faked.
I remember watching that game. I was pissed they did it so easily, but amazed at how well it was executed, I was faked too back then.
That same game the Rams may have even had a better play. Certainly more ballsy. That game was from 2014. Seattle was a very good team, the Rams were bad but they got out to a 21-3 lead helped by that play. Seattle stormed back behind the fantastic play of QB Russell Wilson. After a 'Hawks TD made it 28-26 they forced the Rams into a punting situation with still almost 3 minutes left. Faced with a 4th & 3 Rams coach Jeff Fisher realized if they punt it back to the 'Hawks and a red hot Russell Wilson they'll lose the game. Go for it? Not from your own 18 yd. line. But a FAKE PUNT FROM YOUR OWN 18 YD. LINE? They were never expecting that! Of course it worked and the Rams ran out the clock. Seattle had nearly 200 yds. more offense no TOs and still lost.
Some of the trick plays that are missing from this montage: The Don Strock pass to Duriel Harris who laterals to Tony Nathan near the end of the first half of the Chargers-Dolphins 1981 AFC Divisional Playoff Game known as "The Epic In Miami", which cut the Dolphins deficit to seven at the half after trailing 24-0 earlier in the game. Also, the Seahawks, in their earlier years under head coach Jack Patera, would use lots of trick plays in their games. For example, the "Hawks would be in a field goal position and Jim Zorn, the holder would throw the ball on one occasion to kicker Efren Herrera and on another Zorn would be in the holder position and would pitch it to running back Sherman Smith.
The Hook & Ladder or as the late, great Coach Shula prefers, The Hook & Lateral. Probably the best executed trick play ever
@@tedperry6466 It is not just what the Coach prefers, it is exactly what the play is. The designated receiver runs a hook route and then laterals the ball to the trailing runner. Hook and Ladder just sounds close and everyone is familiar with the Fire Engine Hook and Ladder tucks, so the confusion is understandable.
That one dumb Colts play should be an honorable mention on here. We all know the play.
Philly Philly
Definitely the Patriots double pass vs the ravens in the playoffs too
Still love watching the lateral to Edelman and then the TD pass to Amendola when the Patriots beat the Ravens in the 2014 playoffs.
Good selections
The bears one had me trippin
8:52 before they realized this kind of commentary should be reserved for "how it's made".
The Hodges Play!! I still remember that! Heck yeah that was awesome when I watched the game
I was thinking at first for the Saints you’d use the Snead pass, then I saw the Colts onside kick and became excited
That block at 8:02 saved Warner's life. Props to that man.
That behind the head flick by Randy Moss to Jamal Williams at the end is insane. Randy Moss was on another level
Mo Williams. :)
Ayame Tsutsui. Because of you. ❤️
I'm so amazed. There's so much to observe in football games.
Toss-up for me between the Rams and Bears trick plays. Perfect execution.
Moss was a beast. Spectacular in so many ways
Beast
I love your chanel
Now THAT was a fun video!
That Shaun King/Warrick Dunn play wasn't really a trick play. But that game WAS one of the best games I've ever watched. Monday night, NFCCG rematch, every time one team looked like they had the game won the other team scored in some amazing fashion.
It was so good.
That Vikings play will never be forgotten. Such a legendary play!
Alright. Can we just talk about how good that Randy Moss lateral was? Holy shit
Good video. Fun to watch. 🙂
That was so much fun to watch
10:42 Someone got a little excited. He almost toppled over his own guy.
The Randy Moss pass over his head was awesome.
I already knew what the Saints one would be. SB44
Saints: onside kick to start the second half of the Super Bowl.
Absolutely insane to try it.
I remember watching the Steelers play in that superbowl against the Seahawks. That was the most gutsy, well-designed thing ever
Someone get me some time stamps please

That Dan Marino fake the stop the clock play is in my opinion one of the greatest plays I've ever seen.
6:04 ravens should try running that play with lamar jackson
Think the eagles need an update...
it wasnt the best theyve run. The one in the vid is for such a higher amount of yards.
dicker9 you are a different kind of stupid
@@baksy5889 The Eagles Play was in the Super Bowl
dicker9 it was 4th down in the super bowl and one of the best plays in history.
goldosprey it was an illegal formation
I watched the Packers play 12 times. The shot was so far away you couldn’t really see the the ball go to the receiver.
loved the kicker picking off his own onside kick.
I would argue for the River City Relay as the Saints best trick play, because it was the only three-lateral-TD-play ever. But the onside kick to start the 2nd half against the Colts in the SB is fine too.
Except with the onsides vs the Colts it was only clever in the timing of it, as a drawn play was basic.
No.2 Pat McAfee of the Colts was talented as a punter and as a kickoff on special plays, a lot of people were upset when he retired early but he had 3 knee surgeries before the age of 30 and as someone who has had a bad knee all my life I understood.
Now he’s calling great action in WWE
The Dolphins might need an update 😉
For sure!
That Rams one was one of the smartest trick plays I've ever seen. That's some good studying of the tape
I will never get tired of seeing the Music City Miracle!!
