Its stats arent the best but it takes 1 slot and just being able to golden vow/flame grant me and go straight into sorceries means its a good choice
1. Golden Vow
2. Howl of Shabriri
3. Terra Magicka
Using these 3 spells, you can make any Spammable spell broken. Using it with Comet Azure and Jellyfish Shield is just cheating...

Max scaling 311. Better than most staves or talismans in the game. So, what are you talking about. And it has no skill. So you can use AoW with it seamlessly.

No one is using most of those staves anyways because we have stuff like regal scepter or lusat's staff
It’s not as powerful as the other staffs but you can build something crazy with this. You have ability to use spells and incantations with the same button to simplify your gameplay, and you can use shields/shield skills and weapons/weapon skills while doing it. Don’t sleep on this thing.
How though? I can't use both
@@Travis-u9i Equip the staff on your left hand, then equip whatever weapon or shield you want on the right hand. Now you can have it all

@@Travis-u9i if you can't use both incantations and spells, level up. It's both a staff and a sacred seal in one
Put the staff on your left hand and put a weapon on your right hand and then you should have all 3(spells, incantations, weapon/skill)
I had not seen this and was about to get the other remembrance. Then I is saw incantations AND spells which is Elden Ring LIFE changing!!!! Great work! Loved your video!!!!

same, its from an important boss AND a very unique weapon, i barely know anything about the dlc and even I knew about this weapon

Wouldn't make any sense as a seal, you're using a part of the boss and nowhere does the boss have anything that could be a seal on its body
Plus it's also part of the sorcery quest and despite having both sorcery and incantations I feel a lot of people would be confused getting a seal from a remembrance boss that you can't access without doing said sorcery quest

After level 170 this is the best staff in the game if you allocate stats with its scalings
not true at all lol im lvl 280, 81 int 81 faith and both golden order and prince of death staff scale much better. 70-120 scaling points better with all being maxed smithing stones as well
Best for people running strength and faith even below 50 each. Above that prince of death staff is better for faith/int

It's great for melee runs as it does take up 2 slots so quick switching also.
might have been nice to add Shadow of the Erdtree or DLC to the title or buildup for those of us getting interested but still in base game, cheers for the info tho its appreciated

Yes,,, this! Was super fun using this. My first play-through (pre-DLC) I used almost no incantations but after discovering how easily this allows such a wide variety of sorceries with just ONE tool I really branched out.
Now on a new character (still in the main game) I'm wondering if I should jump into the DLC primarily for this. I miss it!

Im running a Death/Grim Reaper build. Biblical Spellcaster.
Dual Steeples. Great Scythe. Death Ritual Spear. And Staff of GB.
Level 210 not going any higher. 44INT 50FAITH. Scaling 311.
WOWWWWWWWWWWW they really need to mention this SOMEWHERE in the item desc, that's MASSIVE for versatility!

tbh although is not the best weapon and everyone calls It trash, you can do a powerful build with It since you can do spells and incantations with the staff, which gives It a lot of flexibility at the time to do magic builds.
So unless you are hyper leveled and never plan on pvping. Go right ahead and use this weapon. If you plan on keeping pvp optimal. Then theres no point in casting crappy incantation and faith spells when you will never be able to spec into your skills enough to do damage

I am tremendously disappointed at this staff... It should have more sorcery scaling than Prince of Death because it's harder to acquire.
At 80int/faith PoD staff have 430
SoGB have 350..... Three frickin hundred fifty... That's so low...
And on the incantation side.
Golden order seals have 390 incantation scaling.
In summary, using PoD + Golden Order is better than this useless staff.
Golden Order seals can melt those with fire weakness in a second while PoD staff can nuke bosses into nothingness faster than I can finish my late night homework compared to a mere three hundred fifty.
