UK Royals Charles and Camilla begin UAE tour with mosque visit

(6 Nov 2016) BRITISH ROYALS CHARLES AND CAMILLA BEGIN UAE TOUR WITH MOSQUE VISIT
Britain's Prince Charles and his wife Camilla toured on Sunday afternoon the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
The pair was in the United Arab Emirates as part of their three-nation tour of the Gulf.
The couple walked over the mosque's gleaming white marble floor as Emirati officials accompanied them.
The royals had just arrived from neighbouring Oman, where they began their weeklong trip.
On Saturday night, Oman's state-run news agency reported that Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who has ruled the country on the eastern edge of the Arabian Peninsula since 1970, met with the royals.
Journalists traveling with the royal couple did not attend the meeting.
Prince Charles and Camilla later will travel to Bahrain.
