Easy way to make a classy gift, thank you for the tutorial! I actually wasn't looking for this when I came across this video (of course, that's how it goes) but now I really like the idea. : )
THIS IS A GREAT IDEA! NOW I HAVE MANY IDEAS GOING ON IN MY HEAD ON HOW TO PUT FLOWERS LIKE THESE ON DIFFIRENT CONTAINERS NOT JUST JARS. TAKE CARE AND MAY GOD KEEP ON BLESSING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
+Thank you! I am glad that your creative juices are flowing sounds like you have a lot of great ideas. Take care as well and I pray God blesses you and your family too. :) sue ellen romines
I love this...and I have the dap pop...and, if you want the flower to stand straight up you could probably make a goopy hot glue mound and stand the flower up in it until it sets...
If you use the Stiffy Fabric Stiffener, with white flowers you get the same effect. I usually paint them in my favourite creamy antique white paint or a very soft blush pink or peach colour. They turn out gorgeous.
Sooo pretty. Could set anywhere and would look just beautiful. Did not know you could do that using plaster of paris. 😊 Just wondering if you wanted a hint of color, use food coloring in water, maybe ...
Thank you! I hope you can find the jars mine have them all the time but I know not all stores have the same items. You are very welcome for the heads up...glad you found it. :)
I did a similar project but used fabric stiffener instead... ended up painting the flowers after... didn't seal mine but it was on a basket for decoration and didn't get much use.
GREAT JOB! New subscriber :-). Definitely needs an acrylic seal or it will flake. Also having a seal will make it easier with dust and what not that will eventually get on it. But so very elegant!
Love the jars.. You are very creative.. A small tid bit... Maybe actually do all the steps on camera for us crafty challenged people.. Thought of this when you were suggesting what you could put in them.. You could poke a small hole in the lid and put the battery powered lights from the dollar tree in them....
Thank you so glad you liked the video! I usually show all of the steps only once and a while do I ship this but I will try in the future to give examples of ideas. That is a great idea to put lights inside of the jars... I think you are very crafty. :)
Yes, it would be very nice!!! Not sure, but you can use 5 parts powdered plaster to 1 part powered tempera paint and then stir together. You could probably use less tempera paint the more paint you add the more vibrant the color will be. You can also use acrylic paint just make sure to adjust water since the paint is liquid. Hope this helps. Take care. :)
Hi, welcome to my channel...glad you found me!!! I am not familiar with Polly fills but as long as it would harden like Plaster Of Paris you could use it. It is still hard for me to believe that I have people watching me in England!!! I hope this helps...take care. :)

So lovely, could you put some type of sealer on the roses to keep from having the plaster from getting all over.

If you sat them into a poplid filled with plaster once they were done then you’d have a base and they would stand up

Great gift idea. Would food coloring in plaster work?

Wish you would’ve shown the actual dipping
Was wondering if you could put some paint in the plaster of paris before you dip.
+Hi, I know that you can use rit dye in the plaster I would assume that you could put paint in it as well. :) Sherry Bandy
Can you add green leaves for color?
+. You could if you wanted to...I dipped mine in the Plaster Of Paris so it ended up cream. :) Marcia Lawhorn
❤️ love ❤️
+Thank you! It gives a lot of look for the price. :) Melissa James
I use the same dickys cup for plaster Paris too. Lol
+. Awesome!! That is funny! :) salem feathers
Could you put food coloring in the plaster?
I am not sure you might be able to. Take care. :)
Or a dab of paint
Hi, if I can paint the flower? What paint is goog for that? Thanks
Hi, you could use acrylic paint. You are very welcome. :)
Hi I'm new to your channel I'm from england I was wondering can you use Polly fills instead of plaster of paris
