Jason is a dead ringer for Lobo. Honestly, it's the thing I'm most excited for out of this new DC universe. I see it being like the Man of Tomorrow movie (if anyone but me has seen it) where Lobo shows up looking for a Kryptonian, Kara sets him straight and he returns to help at the climax
Lobo returning to help at the climax would be terrible especially with the way the comic actually ends. Lobo is a pretty horrible character most of the time. The character as far as the writing and performance was at his best in the Superman Animated Series and Justice League show. Jason Mamoa is perfect casting, but the character himself is very annoying.
Just so happy for the Closed Caption on these videos. It helps me clear up confusions i have when i hear things. Todays example I heard Sal and Tiffany talk about Desiccator action figure and how he was considering getting two of them. I had to take a look at the Closed Captioning as i swore He was saying "Defalcator" and was shocked as this sounded like something from The Boys and not something Sal would enjoy.
I posted somewhere beginning of this year I felt Dan Mora was the best working at the moment and the work his has continued to do, only solidifies that thought. Thank you Sal, Tiff, Ethan & Ben for another great year. Sal your perspective and thought is the sun in a rainy landscape

For Christmas, I got the Extremity Deluxe Edition, the TMNT/Stranger Things HC, the Beneath the Trees Nobody Sees HC, The Deviant TPB, and the 20th Century Men TPB. I was able to get the Batman/Aliens TPB at a decent price on my own.
46:34 I also hope the don't give Supergirl the Barbie treatment, they might have him cameo for a few minutes or replace the main villain of the book with him what ever they do I see gun giving the book justice
I cannot believe nobody is talking about the art for the new Detective Comics run! It’s the best of Mikel Janin’s whole career (in my opinion) and the colorist makes it sing.
Couldn’t disagree more. I might’ve shared similar feelings initially but this doomsday/superwoman arc is fun. Comics are meant to go on forever. Not every moment can hold heavy stakes.

Love the art at the end. Couple of my favs are Spider-Man #300 and Gotham City Year One.

Tom Taylor doing it twice is very lazy. It makes it seem like it is his go to plot point.

@ I agree with you that not all runs should be heavy, but this run and a lot of Williamson comics have this feel of being like fast food.
I’m not a fan of Lobo being in the movie and he should only be in the opening bar scene. It feels so unnecessary.
