So... Superman's deadbeat dad gets himself arrested, so his mom gets a gun and shoots up a government office, after pulling her kid out of school to kick rocks (sorry, "express himself"), whilst prepping for the end of the world 🤔 The El's need some MKGA hats! All the Absolute titles are offering up some strong on-going storytelling thus far. Feels like this issue of the Ulimates, however, would have made the better 'end of year one' one-shot, with all the ominous hints of what's to come (Kang, Doom, etc.). But what seemed fun and frivolous actually dropped some dark comments on what happened to America Chavez; another great issue from Camp. A great show to kick off 2025! Thanks guys 👍
I feel like Steve bringing food to the cookout can go one of two ways. He's either bringing some prime ribeye steaks for everyone or he's gonna bring one of those old timey jello recipes with weird shit in it.
