Given how much they dig Hayden Sherman’s art, I hope one of them reads Dark Patterns this week because it looks like it’s gonna be a feast for the eyes
I really appreciate it when Tiff & Sal speaks on the mystics and the magic of the books. I feel like that breathes life into the commentary that's missing sometimes
Sadly it seems DC Universe Infinite announced it as 'available in Europe' and then only made it available in a small handful of countries, just like they did when they announced 'going global' a few years back, only to become available in Canada, Australia and the UK.
It's funny seeing Sal squirm while talking about 8 Deaths. I'm enjoying it, personally. The art is good and the premise is wild. The core of the story being about Pete not willing to give up despite suffering through each death speaks to his will power and I appreciate that at least they're focusing on that aspect of Spider-Man's character. In my opinion, Ultimate Spider-Man is my main Spider-Man book, so I appreciate that ASM is doing something completely out of left field (baseball pun intended)
Totally agree. Talking about his will power… if we ever get another DC cross over I would like to see one touch on this. Maybe a Green Lantern/Spider-Man crossover… Spider-Lantern? IDK
I really dislike it and dropped it. This isn't Spider-Man to me, he's stripped of everything that made him Spiderm-Man, no longer his iconic suit and he uses magic now. Not just that but Spider-Man dying 8 times is just another "Lets fuck Spider-Man up... AGAIN!" no thanks, i'm done.
@mex321 I mean, ok. But Spider-Man changes costumes all the time, and always goes back to the OG. And this isn't even going to be a permanent thing since it'll just last as long as Doom being the Sorcerer Supreme. Honestly, I avoided the Zeb Wells run because all anyone could talk about was how bad it was. Then I picked this up because new team and status quo. Had fun with the first issue, continued to like it next issue. But guess what, everyone is still trash talking it. Online discourse is exhausting.
@Amuro1X Yeah of course it's not going to be permanent lol, but that doesn't excuse it to not suck. If there is a new run of a character then why the hell would you not actually use the character? Who wants to read a Spider-Man comic where he is not allowed to look like Spider-Man or use Spider-Man powers? Then you might as well just not read it and just go read something else. He is now a knockoff lame version of dr.Strange that then also dies in every single chapter! Because watching your hero die every single time he wins a battle sure seems like fun! Especially if the same character has already been shat on for years, eventually enough is enough. Trash talking it because it's just Justified. If people are trash talking something and there's like a vocal majority then it kind of says enough doesn't it?
Having spent time on Whatnot, I have a suspicion the spike in sales for a lot of the bigger selling issues is tied to how many different retailers are purchasing thousands of issues to have an exclusive variant cover. A lot of those do get sold but a lot of them also don't.
I enjoyed both Justice League Unlimited and West Coast Avengers. I think both had great hooks at the end, and as a New Warriors fan, I'm always happy to see a member show up in any book.
So she’s right ultimate Black Panther is cool and consistent, and it shows a different side of the ultimate universe that fans should be excited to explore.
Nice episode as always. Just quick correction DC Universe Infinite is not available in Latin America… At least not in Mexico. Despite the fact that they said in 2022 that it would come soon. But Marvel Unlimited is. Edit: Apparently it’s coming the 16th.

We like the intros Sal! It's comforting
CALL OUT THAT AL ROKER FOR NOT SHOUTING OUT COMIC SHOPS....they mentioned the newest pokemon packs in stores now when Pikachu floated by.

I agree with all of this. For me personally, after Zeb Wells' run on ASM, this is a breath of fresh air.

Donny is the best turtle !
The thing that drives the JLU apart? Gotta be Identity Crisis 2.

Not feeling the story for Amazing Spider-Man and definitely not feeling the art, I think It’s a drop for me
