It didn't really hit me right away this was a stand-alone QS. I was thinking you needed a tune with it. Wow, might have to get one for my XSR!

great video man super smooth tutorial 🙏🏽 im installing this to my zx10 but wanted to ask, would the black cable go to ground connection ? In your video you put it on the negative side of the battery, and putting on the red cable directly on the positive side of the battery, would that drain the battery ?

So you can only set that to shift up, and not up and down? Isn't the gytr shifter worth buying considering its easier to install and you can shift clutchless up and down?
GYTR is only for up shifting just like this one.

Have the same bike with Vcyclenut flash for the Graves exhaust and AIS delete. The Yamaha OEM GYTR quick shifter works flawless at over 4k RPM. This looks to be a good option but did you look into any Ayto-Blippers? Thanks for

I plan on a flash and AIS delete soon as well. I thought about an autoblipper setup but other than the cool factor I really don’t need that feature. If I did a lot of track days I probably would have. Thanks for watching 👍

Mine took 10 minutes to install...didnt have to remove gas tank or air box.

Hey mate, i have a pro version. Everything all installed. Problem is ,i can connect it to the app but i cant read it. It keeps on reading even after afew minutes and doesn’t do anything else . Hope to hear from you soon !
Are you starting your bike before you open the app? The bike needs to be started and sending out a signal before you open the app.
@@MotoSouth what do you mean by starting the bike? Turn on and idling or just turning on the key ? Either way both ways have been tested stil the same result
The instructions say that it is to be started first. I’d give them a call and see if they can help troubleshoot. They seem to be very responsive

Kill time is 55 stock. I went back and forth on that one but ended up preferring 55

How did you determine rod length?
Just installed mine! The only gripe I have, is that my foot hurts from upshifting without the clutch! Do you feel that you have to put more pressure than clutch upshifting? I should invest in some riding shoes..
Did you make any adjustments to the sensitivity? That might help reduce the pressure needed to activate the quick shifter

I like it. It creates a different look. Check out the video of it on my channel. I go back to stock once and a while just to change things up lol 👍

Motosouth do you have any experience with the OEM quickshifter? I am wondering if the adjustable settings justifies the higher price and added difficulty in install.
I haven’t used one personally but I’ve heard a lot of people complain about the reliability of the OEM shifter. I would spend the extra money and go with Annitori. I have a discount code in the description for $20 off if that helps
@@MotoSouth I have also heard some reports that the GYTR sensor isn't sensitive enough and takes a lot of pressure to shift. The Annitori is probably money well spent.

What sensitivity and kill time are you running? Had mine in for 2 days and I have to play with stuff lol.
Ran mine with the settings it came set with. I tried moving some things around but found the stock settings best.
How many mm was your shift rod

So you never have to touch the clutch again for up shifts?
You should still use it for rpms less than 4000
So I can’t up shift like 2-3 gears at once? I have low gearing on my MT-09. And in traffic or lower RPM like on side streets from a hood the clutch and go straight into 3rd or 4th at low RPM.
I also punch it and shift at close to red line often lol. Which comes quick having the low gearing.
Hey when I went to do the driveway test I shifted into 2nd and it killed the engine, any idea why?
Have you changed any of the settings? I would make sure all the parameters are set on the recommended numbers from Annitori. Maybe give them a call and they can go through it with you. Their customer service is great.

Tried code but doesn't seem to take any money off of order.. 🤷♂️
if the code deosnt work , ill issue the $20 refund after the order comes through, sometimes the website clears out the product associated with the coupons. I have added it back so it will work now. Sorry for your issue

You would need something that is also an auto blipper like the woolich, but expect to spend a lot more.

@@MotoSouth so the fuel doesn't pour out when you disconnect tubes?
A couple of drops came out but that was all. It was about half full when I removed it.
