I get that they had to skip out on Necrom because they needed to advertise the Arcanist class but tbh they should've made either the Elf or the Nord become an Arcanist (logically the Elf, can't imagine the Nord becoming that) because the Breton switched classes to Necromancer already.

A lot of people are mad at the idea of a new Prince but every star in E.S lore is and exit poiny for Magni-Ge (Elder Scrolls Angels) I feel like Ithelia will be a Magni-Ge like how Meridia is stated to be. Also makes since for her design to look like Meridia a bit.

because the novelty of a new daedric prince on its own isn't all that impressive additionally her minions are reskinned ice atronachs, reskinned Mantikora and generic daedric mooks don't have high hopes for this chapter lol
One of their best trailers! It was very smart to continue with these rival heroes as a team, shows how the game evolved, and now the player (the three heroes) fights larger threats. Somehow this is coming to peace with the state of PvP :) I hope to see them more, maybe even some dialogue.
Spoiler Alert : So what's going on in this trailer is, the 3 heroes are outside the cyrodiilic city of Skingrad, they're trying to reach a portal to Mirrormoor, the plane of the new daedric prince of fate, the blond woman with glowing tattoos,Ithelia. Her dremora servant claims the staff/key and free her of her chains, done by Mora and the rest of the princes, swapping her with the 3 heroes now trapped in her realm as she roams free in Tamriel once again since before the merithic dawn

Okay okay so lore wise you want to tell me that the power of Jyggalag the Prince of Order was for ALL other 16 Princes too much so they decided to degrade him into Sheogorath but a Prince who can form reality didn’t got a treat like this… that’s crazy
He was too powerful to be sealed or destroyed, all they could do was just corrupt him. Ithelia still didn't have much control or understanding over her powers according to hermaeus mora, so he sealed her before she could do anything bad
They cycle through the crown store as costumes around certain events (Nord Hero Costume will appear around Greymoor or other Nord based events and the same for the others)
The Elven Hero and the Breton Hero armors are available as crown store items. I don't think the Nord Hero has one. Edit: I haven't seen the Nord Hero one, but it sounds like it exists. Probably haven't gotten far enough to see lol.
Looks great. Since Ithelia isn't even a mention in Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, or Skyrim... I imagine she doesn't get a happy ending in her story arc. No complaints on my end. Sounds like an awesome time. A new Daedric Prince that can burn bright, provide an interesting foe, and then actually be re-erased from the timeline. A morally ambiguous cause, backed by a mass of writhing tentacles that has the sultry voice of Wes Johnson. Nothing wrong there. 😛 Already pre-ordered. Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom was a great expansion. I feel pretty safe betting on this one.
@@berilsevvalbekret772 You're right. I chose my words poorly. A Daedric Prince can't be erased, as in destroyed forever. I should have been more clear. She could be removed from time and space again like Hermaeus Mora did in the first place (blanking everyone's memories, removing almost every trace of her ever existing at all, erasing his own memory of her, and locking her in a magical prison for all eternity). As you mentioned, they could also "Jyggalag" the poor prince instead. Let's see... what other dreadful fates are out there? They could sap her of so much strength that she loses the ability to manifest in physical form and has to exert herself via signs and blessings (like the 8 Divines). Or... they could go with an angle like Mehrunes Dagon and the Deadlight realm, in which Dagon blasted another Daedric Prince so badly that he probably still hasn't re-corporealized yet. Lots of options, but you're right. No full on erasure is possible for Daedric beings. I stand corrected. We'll see what happens. I love her design, and the new statue on the Bethesda website is brilliant. The shattered glass / crystal motif is a good differentiator.
People saying they should not make a movie once again don't realise how incredibly difficult and expensive it is to even create 3 to 5 minutes of these cinematics. Blizzard gets the question every day
I mean to be fair, Bethesda changes lore every time they introduce a new game. Good or otherwise Kinda like the constellation's being actual entities rather than holes in the sky or both
From my knowledge since the dragon break that happened in elsweyr time is distorted. So i must assume in a future dlc we must fix the timeline. This has happened a few times in lore and has conflicting stories such as the atmoran ships or even vivecs origin
The lore was added and not changed. You also don't know how's this going to end. Perhaps Mora manages to erase her once again as an explanation why there's no mention of her in other games.
@@krzysztofczajka6752I think that's the most probable outcome. TES lore has always been kinda convoluted and uncertain so anything may be possible and still make sense. Tho i treat the game more as a fanfiction than anything else. I really think its easier to digest that way 😂 and it would not be a bad fanfic lore-wise either.
I mean this isn't changing the lore? This is just introducing new stuff. Frankly I'm glad Zenimax Online is allowed to do stuff like this for TES, I enjoy their worldbuilding far more than I do Bethesda after what they did with the Nords in Skyrim. Really hoping this new Daedric Prince is here to stay. Thanks to a Dragon-Break, or whatever happens here, it's quite possible that can send ripples forward through the timeline resulting in her showing up in a future mainline game, and that's entirely okay.
@@cubancucumber I can see why you would think Jyggalag. However, the markings on the woman are aetherial, I do see potential in going to the shivering isles, but I think it really has to focus more on MAGIC than anything.

I wish they would release the themes used in their trailers. I could probably write a half decent story listening to them. Edit: fixed a spelling error.
I just....don't understand why the game can never be allowed to live up to the cinematics. You've got an epic series of short films to promote an mmo that lives up to barely a fraction of the vibe of any of the trailers. Its frustrating seeing such good cinematic sequences and getting hyped for the plot inside of them but absolutely none of that is reflected in the product. There are so many games out there that have their cinematics in tandem with vibe and gameplay of the game, i just dont understand why these have to be polar opposites. If the next elder scrolls single player standalone game lives up to the vibes, scale and epicness of ESO's cinematic trailers, all will be forgiven.
I really wish ESO got a graphics upgrade that looked even half as good as these trailers.... Its long overdue. Bring some of those rendering upgrades like lighting from Starfield.

That's still nearly 200 years in the future. Though it does seem like with the jungle appearing in Cyrodiil, they're setting up for him to rid the province of the jungle. Perhaps his ascent to godhood involves the defeat of Ithalia.
@@PsychicAlchemyIt was all jungle before, but Tiber Septim erased the jungle from Cyrodil in both the past, present, and future. (Which doesn't make too much sense when you think about it as that would cause a loophole in which Tiber Septim has no need to get rid of the jungle in Cyrodil, but eh.) However, it is, in all likelihood, that the very final ever expansion of ESO is going to involve Tiber Septim. Assuming they ever get to doing that.
I wonder if Tho’at Replicanum was a servant of Ithelia, given her use of prismatic glass/mirror attacks. Maybe she was trapped by Hermaeus Mora before he decided to wipe Ithelia from history
She 100% was - in the Chapter reveal we saw the same exact monsters into which Tho'at transforms: the Glass Atronachs and Glass Manticoras + one of the bosses shown for the dungeon DLC was literally the same a Tho'at's base form.
Looking at how well all CGI trailers were made since ESO came out, now in 2024 it's out of discussion that an actual The Elder Scrolls series, that is 100% canon to the lore, in that quality should not be any fiction anymore. The The Elder Scrolls franchise is ready to go that far. And I am dead sure the day will come when Bethesda in cooperation with a professional movie studio drops an official movie. Just be patient, we all know what Bethesda is capable of.

I like how after the Nord chucks the obstacle aside, the Breton turns around and looks at him like "dude wtf".
Everything looks great!
Hopefully, they'll allow us not only to put helmets on companions, but also allow them to use polymorphs & skins!
I'm also hoping the player homes update will include NPC interactions. The pathing update was good, but allowing NPCs to interact with different items or each other would be great!
And I'd really like a strong Nord female ally for my main character!
I want to change ember's hair so bad
Actually missed these three with the Necrom trailer, though that trailer was awesome.
I get that they had to skip out on Necrom because they needed to advertise the Arcanist class but tbh they should've made either the Elf or the Nord become an Arcanist (logically the Elf, can't imagine the Nord becoming that) because the Breton switched classes to Necromancer already.
@@KellyLinda74 That is true, though that big Nord being an arcanist? Heck yes! That would of been cool, as it's hard to tell what class the Nord is honestly, only seen him using melee attacks, that I've seen anyways.
Every rendition of the music gives me chills
A lot of people are mad at the idea of a new Prince but every star in E.S lore is and exit poiny for Magni-Ge (Elder Scrolls Angels) I feel like Ithelia will be a Magni-Ge like how Meridia is stated to be. Also makes since for her design to look like Meridia a bit.
Just waiting here for Elder Scrolls 6. Been 5 damn years since the announcement trailer🙄
We gotta wait 4-5 more btw

Already mind blown by Ithelia, why is no one talking about her, the impact of her lore changes a lot, now that there are now 18 daedric princes.
cause she looks boring
I’m excited though now I’m just realizing I’m getting kronika vibes. Other than that I’m excited to see her influence also if she has a banner I must add it to my collection.
looks isnt all there is @@liamlinson7563
because the novelty of a new daedric prince on its own isn't all that impressive
additionally her minions are reskinned ice atronachs, reskinned Mantikora and generic daedric mooks
don't have high hopes for this chapter lol
@@JohnnySkrimblo wth, bethesda couldn't even be bothered to model and animate new enemies?
Started off as enemies of different factions, ended up as comrades. Warms the heart ☺️ the Nord guy is such a brute lol I love it.
Time to kick some glass!
Bethesda need to change the cover of the video to the great shot at 2:07 instead of Torvesard.
Hermaius Mora is gonna be upset
One of their best trailers! It was very smart to continue with these rival heroes as a team, shows how the game evolved, and now the player (the three heroes) fights larger threats. Somehow this is coming to peace with the state of PvP :) I hope to see them more, maybe even some dialogue.
Spoiler Alert :
So what's going on in this trailer is, the 3 heroes are outside the cyrodiilic city of Skingrad, they're trying to reach a portal to Mirrormoor, the plane of the new daedric prince of fate, the blond woman with glowing tattoos,Ithelia.
Her dremora servant claims the staff/key and free her of her chains, done by Mora and the rest of the princes, swapping her with the 3 heroes now trapped in her realm as she roams free in Tamriel once again since before the merithic dawn
S+ for trailers and story and PVE / D- for PVP servers
Pessimistic though I am, I will say I respect horror/demons in broad daylight. Something about it makes it seem more like it'd be something you could actually encounter and inadvertently more frightening

brilliant movie like trailers..and the whole game has been improved so much from the early days..and probably the only mmo company.that geuinely listens and works with its big player base!.
After beating Molag Bal and his goons, these three just casually side questing all across Tamriel lol

At 0:10 my mind went, Fable?
I have never player ESO but Skyrim until now.. but i really apreciate those cinematics for sure!
I wonder if there will be a new class or will this expansion feel like just another dlc!?
Ну, тут скорее вероятна новая ветка навыков. Классы каждый год не штампуют.

Considering we just got a new class last expansion I doubt it.
I'd rather see something bigger like being able to swap classes on the same character(Out of combat obviously).
Thats only in ff14 lol

Okay okay so lore wise you want to tell me that the power of Jyggalag the Prince of Order was for ALL other 16 Princes too much so they decided to degrade him into Sheogorath but a Prince who can form reality didn’t got a treat like this… that’s crazy
He was too powerful to be sealed or destroyed, all they could do was just corrupt him. Ithelia still didn't have much control or understanding over her powers according to hermaeus mora, so he sealed her before she could do anything bad
@@elysium6679 ahhhhhhh okay, thanks for the explanation ^-^
I still want the armor motifs for these 3. Has it ever been available in game?
They cycle through the crown store as costumes around certain events (Nord Hero Costume will appear around Greymoor or other Nord based events and the same for the others)
Yes, all 3 have.
The lack of fabric physics makes the Breton's outfit look real lame though
The Elven Hero and the Breton Hero armors are available as crown store items. I don't think the Nord Hero has one.
Edit: I haven't seen the Nord Hero one, but it sounds like it exists. Probably haven't gotten far enough to see lol.

We need Akavir for 2025 !
Already pre-ordered. Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom was a great expansion. I feel pretty safe betting on this one.
you can2t erase aa daedric prince. Most likely she will do what Prince of order did or we will get mentions of her in TES6.
Looking forward to this and Ithelia, finally a new prince. There are so many times they can make Dagon invade nirn etc.
If I had a nickel for every time merhunes Dagon invaded Tamriel…I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice.
@@elliotbishop231 More than two, he attacked Mournhold in 1E 2920 for example.
@@saalokyou’ve been reading your books I see lol
People saying they should not make a movie once again don't realise how incredibly difficult and expensive it is to even create 3 to 5 minutes of these cinematics. Blizzard gets the question every day
I am always sceptical when it comes to changing the lore, but this chapter looks promising
I mean to be fair, Bethesda changes lore every time they introduce a new game. Good or otherwise
Kinda like the constellation's being actual entities rather than holes in the sky or both
From my knowledge since the dragon break that happened in elsweyr time is distorted.
So is the mage an interpretation of Shalidor? Or Magnus???
Jyggalag i think. A lot of parts of the trailer point to jyggalag and possibly a hint at the shimmering isles
@@cubancucumber I can see why you would think Jyggalag. However, the markings on the woman are aetherial, I do see potential in going to the shivering isles, but I think it really has to focus more on MAGIC than anything.
Seems tamriel still can't go a month or two without another crisis, probably world ending scale, popping up.
Jokes aside, very cool cinematic
Well, Tamriel was literally built for violence. Not even in a meta sense, struggling is
the whole point...for reasons. At least according to a certain psychedelic-loving original writer from Bethesda
@@AthenaTennosN Ah, yeah, the deepest lore that tends to make even sober folks a little loopy when they think about it too hard. *snort*, whoops, might have missed my last dose, lemme head over to UESP and dive back in...see you folks next year...maybe...if I don't zero-sum first...
I find it amazing that the lore is so detailed that they gave the Breton "le 56% face" to account for the origin of the Bretons.
If they intend to continue releasing DLCs for Online until TES VI launches they will end up having to go to Akavir due to lack of space in Tamriel
There is still room for like 9 chapters without pulling a high isle or doing a zone in a different plane like necrom.
And after that there would still be room for lots of smaller dlc
Bruh Zenimax has nothing to do with TES6, 2024 and people still don't know a simple basic fact like this
why would they stop? it's a better elder scrolls game at this point than the other elder scroll games

Oh so happy to see more Daedric princes related stories!
This is Ithelia. The forgotten Daedric Prince of Paths, Mistress of the Untraveled Road, Unseen, and Fate-Changer. She has the ability to alter or change destiny and fates to the point that it threaten reality itself. There a one fan theory, Ithelia has something to do with the countless heroes in the Elder Scrolls Universe such as the Eternal Champion, Hero of Kvatch etc.
That would be a cool theory :D@@assassinwolf2719
I wish they would release the themes used in their trailers. I could probably write a half decent story listening to them.
Edit: fixed a spelling error.
Eso has become my favorite elder scrolls game and that kind of blows me away as much as ive played them all
I just....don't understand why the game can never be allowed to live up to the cinematics.
Ah shucks, those meddling daedra think they’re going to get away with it again

Breton: Ducks under rock slab to get by
Nord: Grabs rock slab and chucks it off the cliff

The only way a new daedric prince is going to work is if the story ends with us erasing them from all existence and memory dragon break style
It would certainly fit with Tiber Septim's story, anyway.

I really wish ESO got a graphics upgrade that looked even half as good as these trailers.... Its long overdue. Bring some of those rendering upgrades like lighting from Starfield.
Starfield has nothing to do with eso, it's made by a different studio, on a different engine, what you are suggesting is impossible.
You got 4090? If you do, congrats. Others might then rock this game on 30 fps after those graphics would be implemented.
@@ShinyProspect bruh if you think you need a 4090 to run half decent graphics that aren’t even near the top of the line, you are insane and know nothing about technology.

I think my time playing this game is over, but im glad its still going strong.
We all need Bethesda give names and background story of these guys, they're just awesome togheter!!
This series HAS to come to a close with the introduction of Tiber Septim!
(Which doesn't make too much sense when you think about it as that would cause a loophole in which Tiber Septim has no need to get rid of the jungle in Cyrodil, but eh.)
However, it is, in all likelihood, that the very final ever expansion of ESO is going to involve Tiber Septim. Assuming they ever get to doing that.
@@D3th10rd Most of CHIM based feats are never meant to make sense imo.
Would be amazing if the game looked like this. The extent more so than the graphics.
Imagine a movie with this 3 it would be awesome
Unless i can change my class i dont really give a skivers backside
Looking at how well all CGI trailers were made since ESO came out, now in 2024 it's out of discussion that an actual The Elder Scrolls series, that is 100% canon to the lore, in that quality should not be any fiction anymore. The The Elder Scrolls franchise is ready to go that far. And I am dead sure the day will come when Bethesda in cooperation with a professional movie studio drops an official movie. Just be patient, we all know what Bethesda is capable of.
I love how they do these trailers would it be too much to ask for a movie or series of their journeys from being rivals to the ultimate trio…like I’d put my hat for some money if they ask with these dope trailers
