@@Chicago48 as a Type I diabetic all my life, I walk through Aldi thinking how much I would love to buy so many of those sweet things. Admittedly, I will om occasion buy them for a blood sugar (because obviously I am on insulin) & sneak down a cinnamon roll, instead of what I should have, which would be orange juice, or something of that nature! 🤷🏻♀️
I gotta tell you, Aldi has fabulous employees. We were there last night about 8. They close at 9. The car wouldn't start. AAA (roadside service) said 2 hours when called at 8:40. It was cold and windy. I went back inside and asked if it was OK to sit in a lobby chair until they closed. They had me bring the chair into the cashier area because it was warmer. When they closed they had me stay while they cleaned up, then back out to the lobby entry when it time to close out the registers. Tow truck arrived at 9:45 . Plus my cashier bagged my stuff for me. Great store, great employees.
You should contact corporate and also write a Google review! They may get a pat on the back or atta boy at the next store meeting!

Took advantage of the weighted blankets that were phenomenally priced at $19.99 for childrens (8 lbs) or only $24.99 for adult (15 lbs). They are soft and love the patterns.
Weighted blankets should be 10% your body weight, so the “childrens” size is not just for kids. I purchased one for my elderly family member, as the 15 lb adult would be too heavy.

The naan bread is yummy. I used it to make mini personal pepperoni pizza - all ingredients can be obtained at Aldi's. It was a hit with the family!!
My Aldi go-to’s:
16oz bags of almonds or cashews! They are huge, better than Planters or Diamond (IMO), almonds are about $5.29, cashews about $6.49, sometimes on sale too.
ONLY bars: the Aldi version of Kind bars, 4-pack is about $3, often on sale. Dark chocolate almond flavor has 7g of fiber per serving, and they are delicious!
Aldi’s brand kombucha-$2.29 for 16oz bottle; hard to find similar product anywhere for under $3.
Sliced cheese-7-8oz package for $1.79-$1.89; lot of shrink-flation on this product at other grocers but Aldi’s keeps staying the same.
I am literally watching this in Aldi’s parking lot.

I have had the eggnog wine. VERY TASTY. Worth the purchase once a year, especially if you like your eggnog more egg and less nog. It isn't heavy like adding bourbon or rum.
My best Aldi score last wed. Dec 6th was Beef Brisket Flat for $5.49/lb.!! It costs $11.99/lb. at my local Publix in Florida!

I don't usually shop at Aldi's, but some of those items looked fantastic. A friend, who doesn't really need to economize, loves to shop there for the well priced organic produce and food items, so I think I'll take her advice, and yours, and make the 3o minute drive to the closest Aldi's tomorrow. Those 3 wick candles are half the price of other stores in our area and are very attractive. The rice balls [Arancini] look yummy.
My favorite Aldi cookie this time of year is their Winternacht Spiced Spekulatius, which is a spiced windmill cookie in a red bag. They sometimes put them in the regular cookie aisle instead of the seasonal aisle. Try them!!

They also have the almond kind! It’s just the spiced cookie with sliced almonds on the underside. 🤤 The butter ones are good as well.

Great deals, but I'll say the little space heater works, but make sure to read fine print. I bought one that shouldn't be run more than 30 min at a time (that's long enough for my wood stove to warm my house😊).
8:16, the Arancini rice balls (I’ve only had the ones w peas as I’m allergic to mushrooms) truly are FANTASTIC.
And coincidentally, right after that he mentioned the mini naan which I have been buying them from Aldi for years - they are so so good!

1:03 Those waffle makers are fun. They release new seasonal ones all year. I also have a pumpkin one and a bunny one. They press a seasonal shape on one side and a waffle shape on the other. Included recipe book is interesting - you can even make cookies.
It's ... slowish. You can make about one pancake/waffle every two minutes. Cookies take about ten minutes. You can actually knock out a whole bunch of identical waffles in an afternoon and store them in the freezer.
Cleanup is fast and easy. Just keep a damp sponge handy and wipe when it's cool.

@@itsmommy100 Yeah, they're cute. I think they show up at Kohl's sometimes too. Cheap and small. They don't actually make a pancake/waffle in the holiday shape, as much as kind of bake the shape into the surface. The picture on the box gives a clue.
They ARE hot, though. It's not a toy, so definitely don't leave a kid in charge. Get a can of non-stick spray while you're at it. After making each one, you kind of have to pry it out because it will stick a little to one side or the other. A fork is fine or maybe even a spoon, just don't scratch up the surface. It's a pretty durable coating, though.

I would have never thought of Aldi for good Christmas gifts. They have some great stuff.

Do not buy the waffle maker it just isn’t that good in baking the waffle equally. Rather buy 10 waffles frozen for 2.09$ from aldi and throw them in the toaster. Voila perfect waffle! And do not buy the set of small travel size handcreams they just smell off this year as they did last year.
Butter each side of the frozen waffle and put them in a skillet to prepare. When heated through they'll be butter and crispy.😊

Agree on the Ambiano appliances. Bought a stand mixer some years ago and it just isn’t powerful enough to make the simplest of cakes. (Overheats after short use). Thankfully I’m not a big baker. The hand lotion on the other hand I have to defend vigorously. Smell is hit or miss but I absolutely ❤️how my hands feel afterwards. Not greasy yet my skin feels soft! Smell lasts all of 5 minutes which is fine with me. Wish they would carry this lotion all year round with or without smell.
Bought one a few years ago when Walmart had them for $5. Then it took like 3 hours to cook through a batch, so we went back to the regular waffle maker😂
Speciality Sicilian EV olive oil. I bought a bottle of this olive oil 2 weeks ago. Brought it home and put it straight in the fridge overnight to check it for quality. [Real/ Pure Olive Oil will turn solid in the fridge and back to liquid when you let it reach room temperature.] The next day the oil was still liquid. ITS NOT OLIVE OIL, or at minimum not pure. Not pleased.
Matt, you gotta trim the candle wicks to quarter inch height before lighting them. 😊

And buy (haha) the way, I DID purchase the double set of zero gravity outdoor portable lounge chairs from your black Friday (Thanksgiving) link at Walmart and received them yesterday. 36 years ago I discovered Aldi's in Wichita Ks. Moved to N Tx in 1989 - they did not get their 1st Aldi's until @ 2000. Always been an exceptional place to shop. Thanks for you're update. ~ Living back in KS now & thankful

I can tell you the Rana is superb! My husband has a strong dislike of Alfredo, but he loves this stuff. Empty nester, we can make this package last for 2 dinners and 1 lunch each if I add a little more chicken to it. Cooks in 8 minutes and is absolutely delicious!

Hello there Matt 😊 I've bought the Red Robin steak fries, and they're really good in the air fryer. I've also tried the little Gelato' absolutely fantastic! I love Aldi's and shop there at least twice a week. Eggs, and pretty all dairy is way way cheaper than Walmart or grocery stores. Seasonings,bbq sauce, ketchup and fruit are almost half the price or more!! Love my Aldi's ❤ thanks so much Matt for bringing us the deals!!

Last week I found a large paint-by-numbers kit (with paint & brushes) for $5. Their evergreen scented candles were nice. The little spatula set with silicone sheet is cuter in person aand would make a nice tiny hostess gift.

I plan to buy some gourmet chocolates and sometimes they have the little gourmet pierogis in my area.
