Great video amazing build, just got my 1st one n the gto I upgraded electronics as well and noticed a plastic spur and other options or upgrades u suggest need adjustable steering links to add lil tow out
Thanks for the part numbers! Looks like my car is going to be pretty close to the same. Went with the same motor/esc combo because that's about the only thing applicable that's in stock. I am planning on running it on 3s though because I don't want to buy new batteries.
Should be a killer motor/ESC combo for the application, tons of torque and acceleration. I might step it up to 3s for my timed laps but I wanted to start with 2s so I know my temps stay low for now while i get everything dialed in. Dont forget the aluminum driveshaft, this motor will turn the stock piece into a twizzler.
@@jayoHobbies I Already hit 50 mph on the stock plastic drive train in the Camaro version on a GoolRC 3930 with a 35t pinion on Zee 80c 3s with my 3d printed carrier design. Even the aluminum shaft wobbles like a mo-fo with this motor and battery with no carrier. Even though I have the blue aluminum shaft I want to push the plastic one until something else breaks just to find the limit.
I haven't gotten a chance to run this car yet so I have yet to see how well balanced this Kyosho shaft is, but so far during bench testing it seems pretty decent. 50mph dosen't surprise me at all, this motor has a ton of power for this tiny chassis, this thing should be a lot of fun. 😁
Thank you! I just put this together on Sunday and I haven't had a chance to run it yet, but running videos will be up soon. So far I'm extremely happy with how it went together and it seems like it's going to be pretty dang fast. 😁🏁
@@jayoHobbies I just preordered my first rc car by #kyoshoamerica fazer mk2 2020 mercedes amg and I want to make a street and drift build and the parts are all the same.
I like the shorty pack you chose. This looks great. Are you staying with that body? You really just need it setup to go left a little more than straight..lol..You need some EC5s to get full punch, but you really may not need it for this! Great job.
The short pack fits perfectly, and yes, I think I'm going to stay with this body for now, although I may change out the wheels/tires for a more aggressive set of Tamiya Rally-Blocks that I have. I put the EC3s on because I'm most likely going to stay 2s with this car, if I decide to up the power to 3s I'll swap the connectors over the the EC5s. 😁🏁
The increased ground clearance in this video is a combination of the longer shock shaft end along with the larger circumference of the Tamiya Rally-Block tires. The chassis ride height is now at roughly one inch which is much higher then stock.
How do you shorten the weelbase on the fazer mk2 ? I just got a new shell its 260mm and the fazer is 270mm someone said they can be shortend but I can't find a vid anywhere.
To shorten your long wheelbase Fazer you need the short chassis plate (FA521s) and the short center driveshaft (I reccomend the aluminum FAW209). If you swap those two parts out your car will have a 260mm wheelbase.
The Audi R8, Acura NSX, Mercedes AMG, and builders kit are all 260mm wheelbase. The Rage buggies and the muscle cars (charger, chevelle, camaro, challenger) are the longer 274mm wheelbase.
The servo puts out 319.4 oz's of torque with a transition speed of 0.12 seconds at 6.0v. While it is not the fastest servo available it is still pretty quick and a MASSIVE upgrade over the stock unit. Response is quick, the car handles great. I'm very pleased with this servo just as I have been with all of my PowerHD units. 😁🏁
I upgraded into a 3 cell.. it’s a waste to have that motor and run a 2 cell.. not even tapping Into a third of it potential. If you are going with a 2 cell why not a 2 cell rated motor?
HOW'D I MISS THIS
Well obviously you just don't have notifications on. 😆
I did the same thing I Found the part. Still upgrade
Great video, look forward to the competition 👍👍
Thanks brother, I appreciate it! I agree, the competition should be a lot of fun. 😁🏁

Would love to see a how to video on how to install the parts on #kyosho mk2 fazer line.
Thank you for watching, maybe I can get an install video up soon. 😁😉
Should rip pretty good now 👍🏁
I hope so, I'm running out of stuff to upgrade. 🤣
Hey Jayo Rc, Awesome build so far. I'm curious as to how your build came out. I want to build an on road car so I'm curious how it handles

Looking 👀good so far I’d be happy with it just like that ..ttyl
Its definitely ready to start running laps but I've got a few more things to do before it's really "done". 😉
Your ready for the grand nationals
How did you lift the chassis higher new shocks or just lifting the stocks I might’ve not heard you say it
great video !, how much travel in mm do you think the shock extensions added to the chassis ride height ?
Heck yeah I have the castle 4600 in my slash 2wd and I’m going to upgrade to the 1412 3200 and hand this 4600kv down to my kyosho fazer

I think that PowerHD 23Kg servo's speed is too slow for this car. How did it work out for you?

FAZER ON ROIDS
It's got WAY more power then a 2.5lb car needs. 😈🏁
