Thanks for the great video. I have the Mad Van too and I'm really excited about it. Now my Ring Gear Front is gone and I've lost 10 teeth. Since I'm not a model maker, your video was a big help to me 👍
Right on I hope I can find these in America I've been looking for upgraded CVDs and drive cups for a while and never can find them ..they're always out of stock ..I haven't checked in weeks though
I have had my mad van for over a month at $279.00 mrsp after a month of adding the upgrades as things breakdown I now have over a $500.00 mad van!!! and counting😢 excellent video though, ty
what's really sad is with the exception of the LED lights, the rest of these upgrades are pretty much mandatory because the quality of the stock parts that come on the mad van are so poor that you not going to have a choice, in fact you should just start trying to order the upgrade parts when you order the mad van so you'll have some on hand, because things are probably going to start breaking by the 2nd or 3rd pack usually starting with the diff gears
This is so aggravating.. The HD diff ring and input gears should have been included: I blew out both front and rear stock metal diffs in the first two packs. After fifty bucks worth of HD parts, it runs without diff issues. The stock steering is plastic and gets sloppy pretty fast. The upgrade alum servo saver assembly is another fifty bucks. All that said, the power system is a perfect match for the truck. I've upgraded: 1) 2X HD sway bar sets, front & back. 2) 2X HD ring and pinion(diffs) sets. 3) Optional servo saver set kyofaw214 on order.
They didn't show the struggle with the retainer rings on the front hubs- I didn't even get a single battery ran through mine before it ate the ring gear. Fixed that and it immediately ate the diff gears.... It's a 2 wheel drive animal for the time being, just waiting on back ordered parts.
And? I would say it's already a low budget hobby grade unless you think spending $600+ for something not much better other then a bit more metal and bling. This at least lets us poor folk with a smaller wallet enjoy the hobby with more options other then 1/16 scale and smaller. I do see what your saying but that's Capitalism and it's a good thing (for the retailer).
Realy time for looking over the plastic used in Mad Van Uper and Lower sus arms is realy bad have break 4 sets just from drivning on a gravel road no jumps... Same goes to the plastic hub snaps just on gravel road driving... (regular Mad Van not eve so like max 35 km/h) shouldent break of just a bit bumpy road... But a Kyosho fanboy becuse of the qulity racing kits... but i think you need to have quilty even on the begginer friendly tracks its the way in to the brand for new to the hobbey.
Should sell a version like this RTR. I’d buy it
FAW216アルミダンパーはオイルが漏れまくりでそのままでは使い物になりません!
(原因はシャフトよりOリングの内径の方が大きくて隙間があるから)
Ok. Now it's time to bring to the market the 1/8th scale monster truggy for the big boys!

How did you do them. I can't get them on for the life of me

$300 for the mad van ve then another $300 for the parts to upgrade it from toy grade to hobby grade, what a deal....

オイルダダ漏れオプションのアルミサスなんで改善しないんですか?
At this price it should be anyway in RC car, blur sold separately, let's be serious, you are not the most famous.
