I mean, *WHY ?* why on earth does the police need an unmarked, wide body transit van ? I personally think it's a huge waste of tax payers money when it could be put to much better use like having a visible police presence rather than a bunch of children hiding half the time.
What was with blue BMW at 6.30 with only wing mirror lights. No grill or windscreen lights, where they not working it needs to make a very visible presence.
The Connecticut State Police can use their cars when off duty. The CSP is the only state agency in the north America where the entire patrol fleet is unmarked. The State claims personal use is for increased visibility, however the state troopers having no visible markings. The State Troopers can take their cars out of state all the way up the Taconic parkway from Mt Vernon, NY to the mass turnpike down the pike to 146 into Rhode Island and the Narragansett Bay and back into Connecticut - an area the size of more than 1/2 the state of Connecticut and outside of Connecticut. Residents pay for the fuel, there is no GPS tracking and troopers can easily make over $100k. Meanwhile, taxes are near highest in the country, electricity is 3rd highest in the country. Make this agency like every other state- btw its the 2020s, you can catch speeding cars using all sorts of technology besides unmarked cars..
Hello, not really 1) Each force has a budget which goes towards the force and anything they need and that’s a yearly budget so it won’t cost anymore than what’s already going to them. 2) Many of these cars in this video have been posted for the first time 3 years ago and haven’t been “swapped”, end of the day a large amount of officers actually like what we do, I understand your point though however, they do also use fake plates on vehicles and most criminals who these will be going after will be able to tell what cars are police even without the plates. 3) Perfectly legal hobby and there is a lot I won’t post even if I caught it as it’s not used often or they have asked for it not to be posted, many of these cars have been posted many times by others so don’t really matter anymore. Plus you don’t pay anymore Taxes for them you pay the same amount of Tax as usual just more of it may go to the police than highways for example. I do understand what you are saying and it’s a fair point.
Southern999rescue I dint think you should be videoing police cars you could get done for private property images of the London met police and you could get prosecuted
Met Police Website under "Photography Advice" says this: "Members of the public and the media do not need a permit to film or photograph in public places and police have no power to stop them filming or photographing incidents or police personnel."
8:53 Transit widebody, nice 😂

They had grill lights on and some other lights but they turned off so guessing an issue with the lights at that moment.

Honestly you would never expect that ford transit @ 8:56 to be an undercover!
Seems like someone thought it looked too basic so they modded it a bit 😂
@@Just_aRand0mPlayer Lol, first time I've seen them mod the appearance of the vehicle
@@PROXIMIAZ It's a stock Transit Custom. They have those "body kits" as standard
nearly a shed load of paperwork and investigation @6:14 ,. Also which fire station is that at 10:10. Great video by the way, some great vehicles.

Connecticut is just all around solid - even a small ERT can beat feds and 3/75 Rangers
I don’t think all of them are police. Some are dignitary transport
Are some of these vehicles SAS, especially the transit and VW vans?
Nah, they don't run lights and sirens
4:36 squirrel alert !!!!!
M Sport transit 👌
Shitting Peugeot!🤣
Its the quick response taskforce for all those hurty comments on social media
That response is becoming boring now
@@iainv4092it really isn’t though.
The third siren is absolutely useless with lower wattage speakers. RSG sirens suck
Oh well if any are covert you have just cost the UK taxpayer money swapping them , congratulations...you need to find another hobby 👍

Private property images is a thing? Are you sure? Anyway I'm pretty sure publicly owned emergency vehicles are not private property.
