Sunset Park was known to everyone as Earthquake Park because the 1964 earthquake opened the earth there and demolished the school. That big dip in the land there is from that. Look up photos of 1964 earthquake, that place is featured among the worst images of the destruction.
There is an elementary school on govt hill, it’s back behind AT&T.
Watching you bike around govt hill took me back to my childhood always riding my bike around govt hill. Great video.

But they're small like typical small sockeye size but soon the big ones should come in! Haven't heard anyone caught a king yet at seward this week....

Looks like a nice neighborhood. Prices look to be 150K on low side to above 500k average around 300k. Rent runs from 850/mo up to 3400/mo, average rent about 1500/mo. Why was this neighborhood #3 on your list of the top 10 worse neighborhoods in Anchorage ?? Is crime a factor, or is it because of accessibility to amenities ?

small businesses short on staffing because of gov't handouts. It's happening all over US and canada. They're giving out so much extra money in both handouts and unemployment benefits in some places that people can literally make more by quitting their jobs and sitting at home.
