I used Frownies for a few years. They definitely did help smooth out 11’s with nightly use. HOWEVER…I got tired of trimming the sharp edges of the triangular patches to make them more comfortable to wear. Also, they have to be moistened in order to stick. Too much or too little water rendered them useless. On an Amazon hunt for a similar product without these pesky issues, I discovered others made of soft pliable silicone instead of stiff paper. They come in all shapes and sizes, with smooth rounded edges and were infinitely more comfortable…So much so that at times I’ve left them on all day if I was planning to be at home. Two brands I use and love are “Smoothies” and “Ellocy Facial Wrinkle Patches.” Devoted and happier user! Hope this helps. ☺️

I tried Frownies every other night for 2 months (I preferred not to use them on my retinol night). I am making a video of the results but basically...I realized my lines are from sleeping too! I tried wearing them during the day and I didn't feel it tighten but at night...totally. I sleep on the raised pillow but still turn and I realized that was it. It has totally trained me to frown less too during the day (I have very light 11's but my lip lines are bad). I ran out of the lip line ones and just cut the forehead ones up (which actually works better IMO). I LOVE how I look when I wake up lol.I am so afraid to inject but will check out dysport. I am considering doing the lip thread on my upper lip. I feel every woman at 35 should start these! Thanks for the video update.

I came across this video because i was looking for frownie-related content and I'm really happy my search lead me here. I'm only 33 but i've been going through some rough times and it's really showing on my face. So I get that "why are you angry"-thing quite a lot and it's really frustrating. I won't get any injections because that's just what i look like but i've been looking for mechanical ways to smooth my forehead a bit and i'm really excited to see how frownies will work for me. Anyways, thank you for this very differentiating review, it really helped a lot.

Also micro needling is incredible for all kinds of issues on the face . The controlled micro damage tells the skin cells to renew and with that brings new collagen and elastin. Do not be fooled when dermatologist speak against doing it at home yourself

    • @kellydevreese3944
      @kellydevreese3944 8 місяців тому +1

They dont want you to do it at home because some do it wrong or have a bad dupe derma roller that damages the skin. There are good dupes. But i have seen the bad ones. You do not want to use that. It can make your skin worse. Also because a lot of people arent hygienic and they get infections. But if you know what you are doing then indeed it is perfectly fine.

How have I been in the skincare business for 27 years and never heard of these! I have gotten Dysport for years because we did it at the Derm office I worked at but cannot afford it now that I'm retired. Can't wait to try these and thank you for all your helpful tips as well.
I'm a habitual side sleeper and use too much expression when I talk as well.

Awesome video and in addition I recommended Revision’s Revox line twice a day . Has 8 peptides that literally mimic Botox without being Botox which would aid the training of the movement during the day til you wash the face and put the frownies on .

Thank you for the info! I have been wondering about these but hadn’t pulled the trigger on ordering. I am 43 and have ONE weird horizontal line between my eyebrows. I must squint a-lot or my forehead is just slipping with gravity. It really bothers me though. I am also a side sleeper and get headaches if I sleep on my back so that’s not an option. I’m ordering these! It can’t hurt to try!

I had my first child at 42. I had already started adoption proceedings overseas. When I found out I was pregnant, the country we were going to adopt from closed down the program. I had absolutely no problems at all. My doctors kept trying to convince me to have amnio and I refused. My daughter was perfectly healthy. And a constant Joy daily.

People always ask "why are you frowning"? 🤣
I often frown when I'm either thinking, or concentrating.
I've thought about using paper tape, or kinesiology tape, but yes you can still move your muscles, so frownies sounds a lot better.
Thanks again, I'm now off to purchase some Frownies ❤

Hi Michelle, thanks so much for the update. Been waiting. Lol Love and appreciate your honesty. I found them thanks to you and have been using for almost a year. Totally worth the $20'ish. It works as a great reminder to go easy (when I can) on the expressiveness. :)

Have you ever tried Naturium Retinaldehyde? Just mentioning because you said you were sick of Tretinoin and I am too. It’s too abrasive on a regular basis. It only has to go through one step instead of two and it works great and it doesn’t make you peel or you don’t notice it… Maybe a tiny little bit but I use rice enzyme to exfoliate a couple times a week… now every other night, I’m using Counter Beauty Overnight Resurfacer. I’m getting Dysport on my number 11s tomorrow and then I’m going to try The Frownies to keep it up. I can’t wait to try these. I saw you recently on IG after your surgery with them all over your face so I came to watch reviews and of course here you are and I trust you implicitly because you are always honest about what works! Thanks Michelle❣️

Just watched, I also have issues between my eyes. Out of work since covid began started using Frownies almost every night and sometime leave on all day
Agree they make you more aware of the area so you can keep area relaxed even when they are off. I use only 1 triangle but cut smaller pieces to add below next to beginning of brows as I have some squint lines there also. Neighbors are now used to seeing them on me all day ha! have bangs now helps hide patches. 65 and holding!

Some people don’t get wrinkles. My mother has beautiful skin that is so smooth. She is 85 yo. Her younger sisters have lots of wrinkles. But the rest of us have to try for smooth skin. I bought some brownies many years ago when I thought I had wrinkles. I wish I had kept it up. It’s never too late for a little boost.

Lines can happen before your 30’s I’m in my 20’s and have deep creases. They got worse after I had my baby (who is now 2) I’m currently pregnant with my second and even if I wasn’t pregnant Botox seems soooo expensive (I’m poor) and potentially dangerous to me. I got some frownies for Christmas and starting to wear them today. Please pray that they work. I’m looking way older than my age with the creases I have now and always look mad! 😭 ❤

Just a suggestion: When you say, “see you over there”, and the next moment is same exact spot and set up. It makes you feel disappointed not getting anywhere. If you have a 2nd location with different background it makes viewers excited and keeps attention going with you “there”😊
