@@MelinMelbourne Wow.. what a pleasure, Mel😊 I'll recommend you Kdrama that isn't available on Netflix but you might find it on another platform like viki, viu, etc. Scarlet Heart : Ryeo (2017), When The Weather Is Fine (2020), While You Were Sleeping (2017), Because This is My First Life (2018), My Sassy Girl (2018), My Love from The Star (2015). Enjoy watching, Mel😃
@@MelinMelbourne Hi Mel, so happy that u like K drama. I can suggest u few, you can watch Netflix(some are new some old) Don't know what type you like so just suggesting hopefully you'll like them💖 1. Something in the Rain(1 of my Fav) 2. Crash Landing on you. 3. Descendants of the sun. 4. Inheritors (actor Lee min ho,my fav🤩😍) 5. The King, it's a brand new series on Netflix, just 3 episodes is out, they release 1 epidose every Friday🙂it's good & its Lee min ho😁💖 6. Uncontrollably Fond (love this) 7. Suspicious Partner 8. W two worlds apart 9. Doctors. 10. What's wrong with secretary Kim . There are so many if I name all then this msg will be very long haha... I've watched all of the above it's good. I hope you enjoy watching them ❤
“He has quite a good bum” ... Oh Mel you made me laugh. Love your honesty, and love eating shows too. Your lipstick colour in this video is gorgeous on you. Thanks again for another great video and for always making us smile #faMELy. Hope your keeping well in isolation and look forward to your next video.
Love seeing that you still cannot stop smiling when you talk about your husband! I love these videos and your honesty. Would love to see you talk about specific leathers, especially if you can divide them up into few videos per brands. I've been getting somewhat confused looking at used items to see which bags are worth the price (or why the bags are priced the way they are). I appreciate your honest opinion, and love that you don't mind few scratches on boxed calf either! (Btw, everything you show do look meticulous) I recommend youtube channel "Beauty Within" because they break down recommendations based on skin types (and I think getting advise from fellow Asians tends to work better for my skin).
I love the Elizabeth Arden moisturiser, and the Dmitri Skinn moisturiser. They're very light yet hydrating. I prefer it to more luxurious moisturizers such as Chanel. I also did calisthenics for 5 years as a child. Really great for kids, and had quite a few transferrable skills when I changed to ballroom dance. It has been pretty interesting to see the huge price decrease in preloved Chanel because of the coronavirus, while Hermes holds its values
For moisturizer, I am currently using the shisheido waso clear cream + their serum is great! I have hypersensitive and combination skin, and it works really for me. It can hold the moist well without feeling too thick/heavy, even when I apply extra on my more dry/patchy areas:)
Can you please do a video on the different types of handbag leathers and their durability, ex LV, Chanel and Hermes leathers, etc ??? I just wanted to thank you so much for your wonderfully informative videos. I have learned so much from them. I am a late bloomer when it comes to luxury brands.I also love your positive upbeat personality.
I am not one of those who usually leave a comment on a video. But we have so much in common (living in Melbourne, and probably have the same weight and height) and I feel like you are a friend. Well done Mel and please keep up with your channel. I always like your videos!
Kiehls ultra facial cream moisturiser! It’s a little lightweight in texture but makes the skin look nice and slightly dewy and just feels like instant hydration. I’ve tried others but always come back to this one❤️
Skincare recommendation: I mostly use Clarins as they’re all about botanicals. The Multi-Active and Extra-Firming range for moisturizer is v. Good. When I’m tried of Clarins, I switch to Caudalie. They’re fully organic, no perfume, no bad chemicals range - amazing! The SOS face moisturizer is fantastic, the RESVERATROL line is also amazing! The Beauty Elixir mist spray is to die for, it’s a great feeling of fresh spray on the face. The criteria I look for is fragrance-free, plant-based and free of bad chemicals. Organic if possible 😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰 Hope that helps!
Did you add the Van Cleef Apparel mother of peral bracelet to your collection ? Would you wear something delicate like that with your stack ? Im glad your love bracelet is saying closed now and you can wear it wiithout worry .
Voeu - from Woolies. Extremely inexpensive and has amazing ingredients. Not many people take note of it as it’s situated at the bottom shelf. Those who use them do LOVE them.
Semi youngish 😂😂😂😂 you seem younger because you talk freely and is always cheerful.. it’s always good to watch your videos after a long day of work. Thank you Mel for your videos.😍😍😍😍
I use the Pyunkang Yul intense repair cream in the winter. I litteraly can't live without it. I am going to try one of their other creams for the summer when my skin is not as dry.
What are your thoughts on Chanel distressed calfskin? Are they considered a lower alternative to the lamb skin or carving especially for the flap bags?
After the lockdown I want to buy my 1st ready to wear. I really love the Balmain blazer and the Dior Bar jacket. Which one would you recommend. Love your vids Mel 😘
At the moment I'm using L'oreal Revitalift Filler (+HA) moisturizer and their serum . I stock up on them when they're on sale at Wollies, Coles or Chemist Warehouse
My husband uses Oil of Olay and his skin is so gorgeous and he looks so good. Me, spends hundreds on my face cream and now I have lines on my forehead.😌
I use moisturizer by the brand White Elephant. I have incredibly dry skin, and this is the only brand that seems to help my skin. I would love to see a house tour!
Best moisturizer is definitely the COSRX 96 Snail Mucin power essence. I've been using it for 3 years now and it's my favorite product on Earth. Like, if I had to choose just ONE product it would be it ! I'd be glad to share my routine with y'all so feel free to ask haha only COSRX products, best Korean skincare brand on the planet (I wish this post was sponsored haha)
Hi Mel! My dermatologist recommended me to use the Neutrogena water gel (I have combination skin) and it works so well! Better than many other more expensive brands:)
Two of my faves moisturizers are Lancôme hydra zen as a cream but it’s quite light but really moistrinzing and also Dior Hydra Life I don’t know if they are available in Australia cause I’m from France
Mel I love the bracelet with diamonds (not the cartier one) I know you got that from your mother in law but do you know where I can purchase it? I live in Europe. I have the love bracelet without the diamonds and want to stack it together, I think it looks beautiful on you.
I love these type of videos it feels as though we’re getting to know you so much better and it’s good to see how normal you come across 😂 I use Olay as well I just feel it’s reasonably priced and it’s so good, Mel you look amazing don’t change! Hope you and the family are well and keeping safe xx
Hi Mel, I have been using Jurlique for 10 years! First introduced to this brand when I was a uni student, their daily moisturizer. It's an emollient, so it gives dewy skin finish. I think it's perfect for dry Melbourne weather. Now I have been using their miracle water, serum, eye cream, and still their moisturizer of course :D As we age we need more maintenance haha, I think Jurlique products is in middle range, still affordable and I can use their products for at least 8 months before getting new one. For night time, I use facial oil (I made myself), a mix of rosehip, seabuckthorn, argan oil :) If I feel so tired and lazy to put all the routine at night, I just put the facial oil and then quick massage with roller :D Oh ya, dont forget sunscreen spf 50 for day routine. I use Dr.Jart (korean brand), but any spf should be fine as long it suits your skin :) I have been living in Melbourne for 10 years, but now we moved to China as hubby has better offer here. I think I am more self conscious about how I look now >
I love you take on diets, Mel. Unless it's a lifestyle change, most diet promotes disordered eating and most people don't even know they've developed disordered eating.
Yes I just tried to eat in moderation, Food brings me such happiness so i don't try to deny myself too much. Just eating in moderation (smaller portions) and exercise xo
Like I mentioned in a previous video, I work in a luxury retail store here in Mexico City, I don't do sells, but the last weeks before lockdown I saw a lot of people buying a bunch of Hermès lipsticks. Also I see regularly people buying Kelly, Birkin and Constance bags here and probably with a lot less of effort than in any other country, so Mel, I'd suggest Mexico if you wanna try getting any of these next time haha. I work in tax refund for tourists sooo, even better! Mel, I love your videos, even when I can't afford any luxury item, but I love how you explain things in your videos, people come to me after they've bought luxury items and at least I can understand the things they're buying when I ask 🙈. Stay safe!
Hi also live in a suburb of Melbourne and am curious if you have any recommendations for pre loved designer stores in Melbourne.. thanks in advance. and love your vlog
I love the iope derma repair cica cream. It is quite balmy and rich though, so I layer it over a light emulsion from hada labo only on the parts of my skin that need it.
I would recommend the 5-in-1 HADA LABO Goku-jyun Perfect Gel! Really an all-around moisturizer. 5/5 👌🏼 I hope I’m not alone in thinking we’d love a story time about your bad luxury experience. Also, yes, please watch NikkieTutorials’ review of the Hermes lipsticks. Thank you, Mel!
you should look into the brand ‘then i met you’ they make an amazing cleansing balm that’ll take your makeup off completely very quickly so you don’t have to use makeup wipes that don’t really take off the makeup.
Great Video Mel!!! Fan from Sydney. I've been using Kate Somerville Dry Skin Saver Moisturiser (Got it from Mecca) - it's light, doesn't have a strong smell and good for sensitive skin.
Hi Mel, thank you for brightening my quaranteen :-) You afsked for tips on moisturizer - I started using Filorga a year ago (various products, and I highly recomend all). For day time I use time-filler for winter and time-filler mat for summer. I have nice skin, but have gotten sooo many compliments since I started using Filorga. Hope you find, what you’re looking for :-)
I recommend moisturizers from Caudalie in their VineActiv and VinoPerfect line. I adore both of them and have been using it constantly for 3 years. You could give it a try!
Hi Mel, if you havent seen Crash Landing on You K-drama then definitely watch it on Netflix😊 I also use Olay moisturizer for my face and I find their triple regenerist face cream good. Looking forward to your next video Mel! Many thanks😘

You are one of those who are really blessed with clear glowing skin tone. But what’s attractive is your voice .
I use a custom blended face oil instead of moisturizer... been using for 8 months and haven’t had a single zit and my face feels amazing!

“I actually just use oil of olay”. Me:WHAT! My conclusion: good skin is mostly genetic...
Nah, it can definitely be improved through hard work and the right products. That is my personal experience.
My husband uses Oil of Olay and his skin is so gorgeous and he looks so good. Me, spends hundreds on my face cream and now I have lines on my forehead.😌
Yesss oil is usually very clogging for most people, its def genetic!! i wish i was born with that kinda skin haha

May I suggest Olay regenerist micro sculpting serum. I’ve been using it for 5 or 6 years now. It’s a must have for me. I even got my Mama into it.
