I Love this. Feels like a casual chat with friends relaxed and undone. I love the fancy shopping videos and bags but these are the best in there own way

I love how videos like these let your viewers get to know you more but also make you so relatable!! Many influencers project a perfect life (maybe part of branding?) but it's refreshing to know you try to keep it real. As someone who's also been bullied before, I relate to feeling sensitive to seeing other people being bullied. So happy that you were rewarded with a great group of girlies after the unfortunate experiences!

It’s good to know you understand and are also sensitive to bullying. It definitely impacted me a lot however yes very very grateful I met my girlfriends the following year and we are still besties today. Really appreciate you taking the time to comment and watch lovely x

Hi Mel. This was a lot of fun! Three fun facts: I've carried a purse since I was 10 ( my Grandma was to blame according to my Mom), we I got married we built our own home. We started two days after our wedding day, and yes it is very stressful! But it is exactly what I wanted right down to where I put the electrical sockets! And last of all, we've been married 39 years on May 5th! 💕☺️🇨🇦

It’s nice to hear you want to volunteer again. I’ve been a Dutch language volunteer at the library for 4 years now (I practice Dutch with immigrants) and it’s so much fun. I meet so many lovely people from all over the world and it feels more rewarding and meaningful than any paid job I’ve had.
I wish there was a peonie emoji hehe 💕 That’s absolutely amazing that you’ve volunteered for 4 years practicing Dutch with immigrants. I totally agree…the reward is priceless and it feels so good to help and meet new people. Something about just giving back makes you feel warm and fuzzy Xx

Awww…this has got to be one of your most adorable videos I’ve ever watched Ms.Mel! I absolutely love the fact that you used to do volunteer work…I’m very much into charity but never really had the luxury of time to do volunteer work largely because my career requires me to spend 9 out of 12 months at sea. It’s funny how you can’t whistle…I can’t whistle using my lips too BUT I can definitely whistle using my vocal chords and I can actually control them quite well, largely because I’m a huge Mariah Carey fan. Hahaha…and thank you so much for the TimTam hack, will most definitely try it one of these days! 😁

Wow Mel, This was so much fun. I'm a dog lady... lost my Sweet little Maxine a few months ago and I'm STILL not over not having her here with me. But, my handsome baby boy, Duke, is still here with me. Never say never, but I don't care to have another Puppy, the pain is too much. I may have shared this before, but I saved a doctor's life. I almost drowned twice.... the last time was in Hawaii when I drifted rather far out while snorkeling. Mel, I still have my old electric organ, easy baker and tall walking doll from when I was a little girl. Super Fun Mel! 😊💛✨️
Aww I’m so sorry to hear about your sweet lil Maxine. I totally understand, we had a Westie many years back and when we lost him, son-shine just didn’t want another puppy for a long long time. By the time he did, he started liking cats so that’s why we got Chino and Chai. Oh my gosh that’s so scary too, I’m so scared of drowning I’m not a strong swimmer. I love that you’ve kept you childhood toys as well. You reminded me I have a little keyboard that you used to swipe a sheet and it would teach you how to play. @@MelinMelbourne A fun fact….hmmm…well I am a Dual Citizen. I grew up on a small Canadian island called Campobello in the Bay of Fundy. There were and are no doctors on the island and the closest hospital is in Maine USA. So I was born in the US to Canadian parents and I’m therefore both a Canadian and US citizen and carry both passports. It may be a fun fact, but not always fun in reality….but that’s a bit of a long story! Thanks again Mel for a great video 🤗 Judy

OMG!!! I do have dry ear wax tooo!!!! however the chin whisker can be got rid off by IPL. And you have such a balanced parenting style , good for you guys.
When you spoke about your car accident… omg!! Such a similar thing happened to me. Someone flying onto the highway on-ramp hit me and sent me spinning across three lanes of traffic during morning rush hour. I remember things going in very slow motion and pushing my hand towards the windshield as if to try to stop traffic when I facing it! It was as if the proverbial waters were parted for a moment and that’s why maybe I’m still here today
It’s so scary right? I did exactly the same thing put my hands up as if it was going to stop the traffic. Even our screams sounds like they were in slow motion until we hit the trees then we all just were dazed and sore from the whiplash. I’m glad you were ok and thanks for sharing x

Go for a tattoo on your arms Mel, last year was the year of the tiger and it’s my zodiac so I got a tiger tattooed on my arm and love it. Looking at the tiger on my arm gives me courage when I’m down, especially going thru mid life crisis:)

I would also love to travel abroad from the USA...I’m thinking Dubai...all my life I have been collecting real 14kt gold jewelry...of which I own more then 110 rings amongst other gems... I would have loved to be able to collect LV luxury bags...much love my beautiful friend 💋💋
Hellooooo fellow crazy cat lady here 👋🏻 except I don’t have them at home. I play with the neighborhood felines instead. Till the day I figure out how to care for them proper and without them scratching my furniture, the strays will do for now.
