I was at the MCG the day Pietersen pulled away in 2013 and yes he had done it a number of times, although it was a windy blustery day and there was rubbish blowing everywhere. Thing was as you can see Eng were 220 ahead and 6 down but after that incident they quickly lost the last 4 and Australia chased 230 for the loss of only 2 wickets !!

That last bowl reminded me of the Phillip Hughes tragedy. Nothing can bring him back, right? The cricketing world should get wiser. Aggression of the type that kills people should not be tolerated. Couldn't agree more. Smith literally could've died from that delivery. In my opinion, bouncers should be limited to NO MORE than 2 an over at the very least, or they should be banned outright as you've suggested. Phil Hughe's death should serve as a wakeup call.
