I wouldn’t know I’ve never used the RC50 or the Looper +. You’ll find way more technical reviews on UA-cam but through my lens it’s about what makes your craft better. Workflow on the Sheeran loopers is hands down better than Boss imo, they’ve been built to be easy. The downside to not using bigger multi track loopers like the Looper X or RC 300 is you need to do an extra step to alternate between tracks. My brain is too dumb to handle an extra step and be creative so I will always endorse a bigger unit with more simplicity and flexibility than the compact ones that require more tap dancing 🕺
@@Luan_and_only I totally agree. Your review is great! Before I take the plunge and purchase the boss 300 loop station (because of money) Are there any alternatives like zoom or maybe even... A synth/sampler that has ports to plug in pedals.. looping a guitar plugged into a keyboard.. so each key has a different loop on it.. or maybe akai MPC.. though as you say, it's about ease of use!! Though I like the idea of being able to record a whole track on a multi track looper that has a screen so I can do easy edits. I recently bought a zoom R8 but it's difficult to use. I want to avoid computers.. don't mind android based looper maybe... Rant over. Thanks!
@@Troy-eo4ic Normally in my experience when I've tried to save a couple $100 on gear its netted me a higher headache because its inferior product with more steps involved. Boss RC 300 or whatever series its up to is simple and will help you be creative faster. There's plenty ways to skin a cat but if you want to loop the best you start with Sheeran Looper X then go down to RC 300(or newer model) if the Looper X is out of your budget.

What about the Boss RC50 compared to the RC300? Or the sheeran looper + or the Boss RC30?

Because it's very expensive!!!!!
It’s not mine, it was donated by our community to enhance our livestream experience. I’ll be buying one for gigs in the future :)
