i have been doing some digging on this repeater, am i thnking that it a dual receiver as i see it can take 2 repeater freqs right? a side will have a pair as the b side would a pair? KG5NUB
Sorry for taking so long to get back with you. You are correct, it is a dual receive / transmit. It works very well this way. I use one side as the control channel so control is a different freq than the repeater freq.
Juan, I have installed a Yaesu FVS-2 voice guide unit in the repeater. This allows me to record analog audio that can triggered to play over the repeater. I use the DTMF codes start the playback. Hope that helps.
