Luis- Nice video. Thanks for the in-depth. You seem to know this machine. A question I can’t get a good answer on… if I wanted to have 2 uhf repeaters “linked” in my area, my thought was using the “vhf side” of these to be the “control channel” instead of the Internet. But some say it can and some say it can’t. What are your thoughts?.
By the way...nice Klipsch speaker. I am also an audiophile.. 30 plus years into shortwave and ham radio .... Patience....read. Learn...love. N3MSK? Ed? Kudos.
Very interesting. Can you elaborate on the need for the duplexer and the antenna setup with this device? Also, I noticed that the repeater doesn't seem to be running digital modes, just FM. Any particular reason for that? What's the exact name of the FB Group? I searched 'yaesu internet linking' and didn't find it. I'd like to get involved and help out if I can.
Yaesu Dr-2x Multi Site Repeater Li long is the facebook group title. The repeater is in auto digital analog mode. it repeats what it receives. digital in digital out. analog in analog out. A separate digital radio is needed to keep it this way if using Wires-X. in my case the other raduo is an FTM 100.

First step Ohio, next step the world. Good Video Luis
Audio sounds great! I think you are now too close to the microphone...you are peaking every once and a while. Thank you very much!
Try checking with John at yaesu, I think wires x will do analog also, you don't need to separate them.
You said in another video about the ftm400 that you love APRS. SO do I.... Thank you.
are you using a duplexer on the DR-2x?
Wil this work with a DR-1XFR a refurbished DR-1x with new firmware?
please subscribe like and share. i appreciate it. thanks.
