The Etude is said to be written for the defeated Polish rebels raised up against Russian rule....see It's a song about sacrifice of heroes, and so is Swan Song. Hence, those two pieces are a suite, and also the suite begins with piano solo and ends with epic piano solo. It is a suite.

I dont know what you might want to see next but if you want something heavy and fast try their songs "Break the Wall", "Hammer of Wrath" or "Holy War" all Live (from the same show)
If you want maybe some slower type of song try "Edge of the World", "Empty Daydream", "Epilogue" also all Live.

@@KristinKali “Wolf pack” has sort of unofficially been adopted by the bands fans because the band use the “Wolf” heavily on all their artwork for albums and EP’s. Essentially they see themselves as “lone wolves” playing a genre that is unfashionable, melodic power metal mainly, but they most definitely mix it up in tempo, noise and use melodies, harmonies, classical type arrangement, slow, fast.. you name it. Their fan base adore them because they are a breath of fresh air.. they perform heavy metal with smiles on their faces, they genuinely enjoy what they do and on social media are very responsive to fan comments. I can say that having been blown away by them last December and have gone from zero to ... owning everything (and there’s a fair bit to own for such a relatively new band) in those few short months. Most of us were hooked on first listen and can’t stop playing their stuff.. it’s strangely addictive, mainly because it’s so well done and inventive. There you go, shameless plugging for the best thing to happen to metal since the 70’s...🙂
I respect the HECK outta that!! My only problem is not enough time in the day to listen to SOOO much great music! I like A LOT of different music genres.. basically all of the music Lovebites mixes together! 🤣 It’s cool though.. #Wolfpack has so much symbolism.. and you can tell these women are just as smart as they are beautiful! Welcomed to the mind-blowing world of Lovebites. These Japanese women are so talented, skillful and great musicians and they play (mostly) power metal but they are also so versatile. They have influences from Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween, Slayer, Gary Moore, etc., but they are developing their own an unique style. They play heavy, thrash, power metal but also some power ballads and in many songs the lyrics are so uplifting and food for thought. You would be hard pressed to find two Guitarists in the world better than these two right now. I grew up on Core and Power metal and lived through the 80's metal arms race, they play everything they can play but better, faster, and more precise. They are incredible. Miyako the guitarist who went back and forth between the piano and guitar also plays bass and drums composes Lovebites music. She is a Classical concert pianist, at 20 years old she picked up a guitar and fell in love with Metal. She is considered a musical prodigy.
You can pick your poison with genre's and they can play them all, some sound like they are right out of the 80 power metal scene (The Crusade, Holy War), If Slayer and Eric Clapton had a baby it would be their song Break the Wall. it's hard to explain just how good they are.

Oh are you in for a real treat....been on this awesome bandwagon since 2017. A band of insanely talented musicians who play Power, Speed, Thrash, Rock, Ballads and classical piano better than anyone else LIVE!!! This was a sample of the flawless pursuit of PERFECTION!! They are all petite drummer Haruna is 4' 9" and Asami/ vocals is 5' as is Miho /bass/backing vocals and Midori the blond lead guitar/backing vocals and then Miyako at 5' 2" guitar/piano/ keyboard/backing vocals. They wear white dresses and high heels (play the entire concert in them) so that they can be seen on stage but no one stands taller or plays LIVE better than this band!!! 1st all female Japanese band to play Wacken and Bloodstock festivals (2018), best new metal band (2018) and last album Electric Pentagram nominated for Metal Album of the Year (2020). They are a metal band but so much more as they have brought the glory of 80's metal and raised it to a whole new level. Asami the vocalist is an ex-ballerina (the way she performs on stage) who is from a R & B/Soul/Jazz background and never sang a metal song till she auditioned for the band. They have been around from 2016 and have gotten better with each new release that they are doing in the order of the Alphabet (up to G now). They want to perform with a full orchestra and I can only imagine what Miyako will score for that performance. Asami writes a lot of the lyrics but they all contribute and Miyako does the arrangements and scoring again with input from all the members who all play multiple instruments. It is criminal almost to have this much talent in one band!!! Now try Edge of the World LIVE ( ua-cam.com/video/FGRxXCDtRFA/v-deo.html) starts as a ballad and then transitions to what these women do best. Miyako (Guitar, Piano) is the primary composer and Asami (vocals) write the lyrics in English. Asami lived in LA studying ballet in her teens. Midori is the other guitarist. Miho (bass) founded the band with Haruna (drums), were in Destrose. Another great all female band in Japan.

It will demonstrate a good array of genres LOVEBITES play (though lacking any of their Hard-Rock songs). Although about 20 minutes for all three songs, it would surely bring a more comprehensive impression, and the lyrics to "Edge of the World" (the middle song, with [cc] lyrics) summarize LOVEBITES 'message' quite clearly. Their lyrics are what inspire me to promote them in our current crazy world.

Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They have themselves said in interviews that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity.
Some background:
They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" pocket nuke), and they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. Miho and Miyako compose most of their music, but Midori has also been getting into the act, and Asami writes a lot of the lyrics.
They have only been around for a little over 4 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and it seems clear they’re taking it to another level.
You started with a performance many fans consider one of their masterpieces. They do everything from soulful power ballads to white-hot insane thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two shredders are very different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The interplay makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") As you saw, Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist-she only picked up guitar when she was 18.

You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Iam in love from Bolivia Latinoamerica, LOVEBITES, Guitarists Miyako and Midori are both from the city of Osaka, both took piano lessons for years (Midori also learned organ), and both took up the guitar relatively late. Midori went to music school - Musicians Institute Osaka branch, where one of her instructors was the late Mikio Fujioka, lead guitarist of Babymetal's Kami Band - and Miyako is basically self-taught. Miyako made use of a well-known instructional book series, whose title literally translated into English is "Mechanical Training Phrases from Hell", working her way through the entire guitar series. There are versions of these instructional books for bass and drums too, and there's hardly a Japanese musician on those instruments who hasn't studied them.

Yes I saw in an interview , Miyako said Midori comes to her studio at home and they practice all their twin guitar stuff, making sure one of them doesn't get too excited and push the beat and they lose perfect sync. that stuff doesn't come easily, even if both players are great. its hard work , they do it , and then they blow us all away live, every single time. Wow wow wow !
The bad thing is they always have the camera on Miyako she couldn't do it without the drummer the bass player and Midori is a real shredder I think all of them are equal Haruna is the Powerball actually beautiful

Hi Kristen, you should check out Band Maid too! They are more hard rock than Lovebites, with elements of metal and punk and other influences mixed in. Don't let the maid outfits fool you, they're an awesome band with great musicians. Check out their youtube channel, I recommend "Warning" mv or Domination (live) videos, but anything is good. Most reactors do not get blocked showing videos from their channel. :)
