- After 2 years of designing and building proasis, finally the day has come and she touched the water of the Baltic Sea for the very first time!
The maiden sail was very pleasant. Visit www.proas.is for more information, pictures and videos!
I'm a simple man. I see a kickass proa, I like and subscribe.
Nice work mate! You and Rael Dobkins need to catch up and do a video together.
Thanks!
congratulations! looks great! and such a neat mix of traditional and modern features
Absolutely great job - well done - my congratulations!
Thanks!
Congratulations
Интересная конструкция 🙂👍
How do you tak? Go about?
We don't tack we shunt. The sail is shifted from one end to the other and the boat sails in the opposite direction. We will post a video about that soon! If you're interested make sure you hit like and subscribe 😉
Parece um catamarã... com vela de proa. Se bem que naõ sou do ramo e nao entendo do assunto. Opinião visual.
Search for Drua or Alia, a configuration like this used to be the traditional design on many islands such as Fiji and Samoa.
@@proasisproject thks. and good look for you!
@@proasisproject See here... A origem dos catamarãs... eu sabia que o multi casco teve origem no pacifíco... mas não tinha visto ainda nada parecido. Muito obrigado pela atenção.
+1 Great dreadnought bi-iron =)
a too heavy proa
500kg is to much for a 9m plywood/scrap wood proa for a budget of 4k? I dont think so . . .
how much does the boat weigh? can't wait to see more footage of it sailing!
Approx 500 kg. Light enough to pull it up the beach in case of strong onshore wind (bad time to be on anchor). We will post more soon, make sure you subscribe :)
@@proasisproject already am!
Could you post a video of the rudders?
We will make more detailed videos soon. Let me know what else you would like to see :)
