Started Carnivore in feb 2021 at 230 lbs at 6' tall. My quest ended pretty quick as i lost 30 lbs of fat in two months. Now 37 months later, i'm maint a weight of 189 at the age of 72. It was easy. I've also been weight training all my life. Size 34 jeans at 72, what i wore when i was 19. I eat 2 meals a day, 2 lbs of beef, 5-6 eggs, full fat yogurt, block cheddar, and i do have an avocado now to fill me up more. Oh, yea, always had 3 cups of coffee with heavy cream and monk fruit. Never stopped me from losing fat.
I'm one of those people. 👋 I've been with you guys since the beginning, but anytime I fell off, I unsubscribed because your new videos would pop up while I was trying to watch UA-cam and eat my snacks.
I appreciate everything you guys do. Thanks for not giving up! 😊😊

Trying to re feed. I have never done this before. I realized that I am under eating but, it is messing with mind a little. I have gained 2 lbs which isn't a lot but my energy is back up. Getting my steps increased is my goal. Hope I can break this plataue I have been on. Rock on Larry, Cassie and fellow carnivores!!
Larry I think you should go into councilling, you have such a non judgement safe vibe about you. You are just very calming and radiate a kindness. I love your channel and even tho I love the carnivore diet I often fall off the wagon. Your channel & Facebook group is literally the only group I feel able to reach out to without being judged. I'm facing my first life-crisis test since adoption this way of eating nearly two years ago -- I was laid off from my job today. I am not afraid I'm going to fall off the Carnivore wagon, because doing so will only make a bad situation worse, and I think a proper human diet will help me bear up under this tough turn of events. But I have to admit that I'm scared out of my wits, and any prayers and positive energy are welcome!

Finally updated our profile photo~ sure wish I could do a split screen w/our old one that we'd been using for 10 yrs. Pretty sure that in itself would be an encouragement to others~ such a difference, whew! AT 63 & 58, we're ten years older~but look & feel at least ten years younger. Didn't even realize the visual was so different until I saw both pictures side by side.
We've been at this for almost 3 yrs now, have had our share of ups & downs~ but always, ALWAYS w/a forward trajectory. Never lost our momentum, which has a lot to do w/the massive amount of love & support out here~ namely, Carnivore Quest channel & a few select others. Not that there aren't tons of channels & blogs now, because there are. We browsed many of them over the years, & have found a few that resonate with us the most.
My advice is to go ahead & find a couple channels &/or groups that feel & sound good to you, then really dive into the content & never hesitate to ask for support. Same goes for the comment sections under videos, as well as the sidebar chat during live streams. Some of THE best learning comes from reaching out right where you are, believing that no concern or question is too small or silly. It never is, period.
There's everything right with putting your health & wellbeing front & center~ for you, your family & your friends. If not now...when, right?~Dan & Sammy in AZ

I stayed the course for 4.5 weeks. Ate a drive thru. That meal provided so much flatulence I could have gone to the moon three time. Fasting today and will get back on. Keep posting! I love the way you reach to us.

I've had a few addictions. I was actually getting clean off alcohol at 15, did it, few bumps through the years but not crazy. Stopped smoking cigs in my 30's, smoked again briefly after being widowed but asthma helped me kick that pretty quick. Food has been a beast on the other hand. I've re-dedicated to carnivore since my sister died from cancer last month. Was something she and I were doing together. So i know she'd want me to push through this and not crumble. I have zero support now that she's gone. We talked on the phone daily for hours and nutrition was a huge part of that. So here I go, good luck to me

Thanks Larry. So proud of you two. This month is going to be an emotional roller coaster so I'm promising nothing but asking for prayer. I realize that the only ones I cheat when I go off is myself, my children and my grandchildren. I will be out of town some of this month and at the mercy of my gracious loved ones as a house guest. I'll do the best that I can, bring my purse bacon and jerky and do my best.

@@CarnivoreQuest well I am curious about how butter may be effecting me. I use butter a lot to get my fat in. I've seen a few videos mentioning how some people eat butter before bed helps them to sleep. This kinda made me tilt my head because we always hear how fat gives us energy so I'm a bit confused on this. I use butter a lot to get my fat in. Over the last 90 plus days my energy level is horrible for the part and I don't understand why. Could it be the butter? I mean if Catherine Albright says to eat a pat of butter before bed to help you sleep is eating butter with my meals affecting me? So I'm curious that if I only eat beef fat and incorporate be fat bite along with my meals would it boost my energy and satiate me longer? Maybe my body needs some more nutritious pure er form of fat. Idk we shall see .

Hi Larry thanks so much for inspiring others that they can reach there weight loss on your channel, I have been doing Carnivore for 74 days was 345 lbs now I am 288 lbs have a long ways to go , I found Dr Kenberry channel 1st and a few more than I found you and your wonderful wife Cassie . I had 1 week last month that I went off the rails. I have a high TSH and a low Ft4. I can never get my glucose lower than 90 , even with OMAD and IF. I am so frustrated! My weight loss has stopped since January. My doctor did put me on thyroid medicine, but doesn't seem concerned about my ACI being at 5.6. I just keep getting back on my carnivore and Larry I think I am going to try your March eating plan starting next week. Wish me luck.

Im coming up on 2 months since switching from a keto to a carnivore woe. In all ive dropped from 364 pounds to 302 and waiting for the scale to officiate officially breaking 300. Just taking it 1 day and 1 steak at a time.

Larry, I was inspired by what you guys were able to accomplish in March. I am on day 2 of my first 72 hr fast this month. I plan on doing a fast every week this month to get me back on track and to eliminate the cravings and nighttime snacking. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation. I started your OMAD+Fasting protocol last week of March . I combine regular fasting with sardine fasting and lost 1.6lbs. I'm going to continue to do the fasting for the month of April.

How does one get off the diet soda addiction?
take one day at a time and don't sweat over it, you will do it when its time.
You can try adding carbonated water until there is no soda left in the cup or cold turkey. You can also try cutting the amount of soda you drink every day until You’re just drinking water or just replace your soda with flavored carbonated water
When I got rid of my diet coke addiction (8 liters/day for decades), I forced myself to start by substituting an equal amount of water in between the soda, then kept weaning down that way. However, discovered some of what I was missing was the sharpness of the bubbles, so added in Bubly and now alternate Bubly and water instead. Just keep at it, and it will happen.

Cold turkey, I was drinking a 2ltr a day of regular Pepsi for probably 30 years. One day, I found Carnivore, and a year later, I haven't had as much as a sip. It's poison.
I do more coffee now but with zero carb zero sugar syrup. At high-school weight now. I'm 57 yrs old.
I am still trying to understand why anyone would want to eat anything other than the carnivore diet. Everything else just looks like duck food. Have to remember that for the majority of people the struggle is real!
Facts! There is a small, very small, minority who can go through it without skipping a beat. Wish we were in that club, but I'm glad we aren't because we have inspired so many to get back up because we did and documented it showing them it can be done👍

It’s not at all hard for me to give up the sugar and carbs. It’s near impossible to give up the berries and veggies. Guess I’m gonna have to stick with keto because I don’t see any reason to give up other healthy foods besides meat.

My challenge is getting a ^&*^ing video uploaded to UA-cam. Just spent 3 days trying to get one 10 minute video to upload to my main channel (this one). And there's no room left on my iPhone for any more videos. My carnivore chill is being tested right now. As for carnivore, I've been doing great, staying strict 98% of the time and still staying under 20 g carbs those 2%. Weight kind of hovers around the same 2-3 pounds all the time, but everything goes through the lens of CIRS these days.

I've struggled so much over the last 5 or so years...on/off, on/off, on/off and so on. You just have to keep at it, never stop trying and the right frame of mind will occur. You can make it happen!!!
Missy I think we'll always have times of struggle while other times it's easy breezy. Get yourself in a good groove and roll with it!
