Wow, about 350,000 miles and it still runs and drives good. Buy it and drive it until it gives out, and then replace the engine and transmission and drive it another 400,000 or 500,000 miles. I would say it is worth every penny of $6,950.
This trucks probably got a new motor and tranny already. Looks like steering wheel doesn't even have 100,000 miles on it either! I'd like to get a look at the brake pedal. Pretty nice truck, our tour guide was on his game today too very vocal..LOL
I just recently bought a 1997 extended cab 3 door silverado 4x4 215,000 miles no rust, power seats, highback bucket seats, and to many accessories to list runs great and everything works except for the air-conditioning for 6,000 dollars. The color is Dark toreador metallic (Dark Red) over ultra silver metallic and so far I couldn't be happier. GM fan all my life (59 years young)
Used to work for a man in Ohio that had one of those 1500s super high miles he said same thing best vehicle he ever had. Never any problems except normal brakes oil changes
I have seen those pickups with reasonable maintenance run four to five hundred thousand miles. Then you either rebuild the motor or put a new GM crate motor in it.
@Joseph Watson I'm not saying the F150 wasn't awesome cause it was. It's just that model of Chevy pickup was just better looking. It's probably why they sold so many of them and you still see a crap load of them still on the road🤷♂️
Great Trucks. Owned 92 back in the Day. Just picked up 97 K1500 Shorted 89 k orginal miles. I sold my 2020 GMC ELEVATION. Nice Truck but I like those Older Trucks. They look great. There Simple. Without all Computers ect. I feel the 400 were the last Golden Era Pickup Trucks from GM. Mileage even at 300k. She 's still a good old girl. Put a Crate in it. Your still ahead of the game. There great Trucks. Those Trucks are Sought after. Like the Old Box Trucks but Modernized.
I have always had a love for transportation started my career transporting cars to auction when I was 15 in 1979. Drove some beautiful cars and transported a lot of contraband .
Very clean Obs Z71 with almost 400,000 been awhile since seen pickup truck with bedrails sounds nice with flowmaster exhaust only problem not in my driveway.
Nice, but I went to west Pennsylvania and paid $5000 for a Maryland 1997 that was in much better shape. Evereyone wanted to low ball him, he was Firm. Made the call to hold the truck, and it is mine to this day. Love my !997!!!!!
With the tinted windows and backpack and glove box that doesn't open looks like a Montana drug runner before they started using. Nice truck decent price in right state.
Thumbs up if you think Nick has the best job in the world!

Reline those brakes and it'll go another 350. 88 to 98 notorious for unexpected brake line failure.

I liked how these trucks had true duals and not just one pipe
Factory?
Yes thay had true duals into muffler after muffler 1 pipe@rdr9519
I have seen those pickups with reasonable maintenance run four to five hundred thousand miles. Then you either rebuild the motor or put a new GM crate motor in it.
And reline the brakes. Stopping is important
I got a 99 the wrap around front end and it has 605,563 original motor and transmission
I always thought that model year in the late 90's was better looking than the F150👌
No it was not to me I like the f150 better

Great pick up truck and great price. Love me a Chevy. Worth every penny.
Good old truck for the money. Replace the windshield and headliner you have a good truck
The truck is in good shape specially for the price you can't beat it specially for the winter it will take me anywhere love it 👍
This is one of my favorite looking trucks from that time period. I don't have a vehicle, but if I did, it would be this type of truck
Nothing wrong with a good older P/U,for a good price .
Great Trucks.

How much did you pay for the '97 you bought if you don't mind saying?
@iolacowgirl I paid 22k
For it.
No regrets at all.
Great Trucks.
@billmay7364 not bad! We are about to get a one owner '97 ext cab k1500 113k miles for $18k. Thanks for sharing!
That WILL be a classic!! And at that price I can afford....hope you keep bringing 90's model vehicles.....
looks like my 97 gmc sierra. great truck after i worked out all the issues. wish i still had it.
If you really liked that particular model like i did its a good deal, if you drive it right and don’t dog it it’ll be a good buy.
I have always had a love for transportation started my career transporting cars to auction when I was 15 in 1979. Drove some beautiful cars and transported a lot of contraband .
Love your demos honest and straight forward. I have worked for both honest and crooked.
Do you take trades and do you still have the 59 studebaker?
Truck looks amazing. Got a 96 3500 on air bags. Pulls our race trailer like a boss
Nice truck. Love it my son has a 1996 and a 1973. He loves them. 😊
I love that truck! If I had the money, I’d get it!
They do hold their value. Like a Timex keeps running.
Well worth the money
Thats 340k HIGHWAY miles by an older person, for sure.
This is a STEAL!!
wow 350 THOUSAND miles!!!
And they want over $6,000 for it. That's a little crazy 🤪 but there's a butt for ever seat.
Price is really great and it's in great shape
Old trucks are getting more expensive than ever but as nice as the body looks worst case scenario it would definitely merit another motor
Besides the square body those are the best looking trucks.
Very clean Obs Z71 with almost 400,000 been awhile since seen pickup truck with bedrails sounds nice with flowmaster exhaust only problem not in my driveway.
Thanks 👍
God I wish I could buy this truck my kind of truck maple motors has the good cars & trucks love them
You'll never need another truck. Great price. I got three kids and they all fit in it
Am going to be very jealous of the person who buys this truck.
Real nice Chevy Silverado 😊
Sure is!
One day I will be able to afford a car from you guys.keep up the amazing content wish you and your family the best on the business!!!
Totally decent OBS Chevy. Needs some white letter AT's and a little TLC on the interior, but she's probably a good one.
Not bad for a 97 . Headliner, window, tires and a maaco paint job and you’ve got a decent driver.
That white dove 🕊️ looks BEAUTIFUL ❤
🙏👍😍♥️🔥
What a great pick up cheers Nick you have just made my mind up to get this one.
You sound so thrilled in this one Nick. Lol
I Have one just like this and love it and I put a cowl hood on mine and 4 in body lift
I got 355,000 on mine
Wow that rascal is pretty clean
Wow a vehicle I can afford thank u Jesus!
What’s the window tint percentage?

Fave truck, BUT, not for $6900 and change, if it was $4800-5400 I could see myself swooping in to snag that truck cash never plastic

I had to look twice to see if this was still Malple Motors. I thought it was GM junkyard
Not a muscle car
But it is considered a classic now
to many miles
Repair shops love them!
That truck is worth 3 grand at most
But it sold for 7k
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate Good for you lol
Have a wonderful day
10 grand for that is called a good price in the comments? NOT worth it.
