finally someone explained what's the issue with the front end swap. Every forum ever is only saying that it's a lot of work but they fail to mention that the wings are too long! Thanks a lot mate. Cheers!
@@SMTMOTORSPORT did you rrslly had to fit a glass fiber fenders to complete the M front swap? Haven't regarded abiut the stock e46 compact fenders?im asking you this because the stock fenders they only holds the side lights..or am i missing a point?
@@Slide_master_Drifter I fitted a lock kit that pushed the wheels right out past the standard fender so why it’s m3 fender wide so my wheels fit under them but the videos should show u why as coupe fenders don’t fit also
Brilliant a wee compact. I’ve been looking for rear overfenders for mine. There’s a couple of sellers on eBay but there 80mm wide, I put 20mm wheel spacers all round with 17s style 45 bm alloys and the fitment is alright. 20 or 30mm overfenders would be mint.
I think it’s stated in video much off top of my head u need bonnet, lights front panel and that’s it, then body kit that is! It’s the wings that are custom made to fit this way everything else is oem
@@2013screamthe LCI sedan will be the easiest. The pre facelift sedan is a little crude, as you have the line that’s a bit disconnected with the compact body line. You still need to do a bit of trimming regardless, but not as much as the coupe front.
you will need to replace headlights, bonet and the bumper because the headlights dont fit otherwise. Dont know if you need to replace the side skirts tho. Still have to figure that out
@@tinekese5025 i phrased my question wrong i apologise , i meant just the necessary stuff for the headlight because i know they don’t fit sadly 😭 you gave me the right information though so thank you!
To fit correctly u need the above but if not grinder and big filler away u go but parts cheap enough so I won’t waste time cutting and many many hours to have it look not as good as oem parts

Whats is your wheel spec?
For the hood and bumper is 3 or 5 doors ? Tks
It’s oem m3 stuff
@@SMTMOTORSPORT tks and good job
Hi! Can you still use the original compact fenders or do you need to change them?
Not sure on that one
Would the headlights, hood and bumper fit without changing the wings?
Yes if u removed the oem compact wings all the above bolt on! All explained in the episodes 👍🏻
Does anyone know how i can swap out JUST the headlights on the compact for some e46 coupe headlights?
