@@dudleydyer9224well that's is sort of the same thing as taking players on loan from prem and championship teams, I mean be real, they are not getting top class players from that level, they are getting average players at that levels that are good players at league 1-2 level, if the players were good enough for prem or championship then they would be playing in the prem or championship, but instead they are playing league2.
Don't have the angle on the field; however, that screams of a (holding and possibly tripping) foul at the 4:57' mark. It's tactical (intentional), using the hands, preventing the opponent from keeping possession, as well as taking an advantageous position.
While I support Wrexham and happy to see them win. The difference in the game was that the Walsall defense/defenders totally suck and remind me of a bad varsity team defense. Now, while Wrexham need to get a couple new and better defenders to have a chance to get promoted or even finish at the top of the table ... Walsall need to get some new and much better defenders just to not get relegated. Both teams have good midfielders and attackers ... at least at and for this level of play. I feel sorry for the Walsall keeper, he got "hung out to dry" by his so called ("swiss cheese") "defense ... like laundry put out to dry during a hurricane!
He was annoyed because he called for the defender to leave it that's why he came so far off his line but the defender gave straight to the player who then lobbed him.

How good if have live jz lyke epl league 2,3 cz wat me watch it nothing different from 1 (primer league...when watch game off team lyke Wrexham , Coventry n the supporter it no difference ..
I don't understand how the first goal (1:34) stands. The attacker has both hands on the defenders shoulders, preventing him from from jumping and challenging for the ball. It even looks like he lifts himself higher using the defender. Surely this isn't legal? I get having a hand on the defenders back to make sure he doesn't knock your teeth out by accident, but this looked egregious. Also - how was that not a foul at 4:59? Shirt grab followed by a lunge that takes his legs out. I guess that's what he gets for attempting to recover and play on. Should have grabbed his ankle and rolled around for 3 minutes. I'd be pretty upset if I were a Walsall fan.
With the first goal, defenders and attackers are frequently pushing against each other and looking to either gain space or prevent the attacker from moving by using their body as a block. It really wasnt anything significant. It's only a foul if you're trying to actively take out the player by force, if that makes sense. That was just good use of body strength on his part to get the space and height while not fouling the defender by completely taking him out. Second one I thought could easily have been a foul, especially in higher leagues. You win some and lose some on that front.
In the first goal the defender is backing into the attacker that causes the attacker to have hands on him, the attacker is allowed to stand his ground and jump, as you can see is what he does, the defender initiates the contact when backing into the attacker, defenders fault. And for Wrexhams 3rd goal, when he slides in he clearly gets all ball and the Walls all player just falls down, that's why the player doesn't even appeal for a foul, could have been a foul for the initial shirt pull, but there was nothing wrong with the sliding tackle, it was actually a really well timed challenge that was all ball.
Walsall fan here. The first goal was fine in my opinion. They did well to target Foulkes all game to get easy headers on goal, don't think there was a foul there. As for the second one, we were fuming when the ref let play continue. Fair enough there was a bit of time between the foul and the goal so we should've been concentrating on defending instead of hoping for the whistle, but these are the kind of things in League Two where it doesn't matter how well you play, the officials can take the game away from you.
Nothing more annoying than the title of a highlight reel giving away the outcome of the game. Obviously most people know the box score ahead of watching a highlight reel but still it serves no purpose and for those who don't know the outcome it severely diminishes the value of the recap.
How was that not a foul against the Wrexham player for their third goal in the buildup? The level of refereeing in these lower leagues is an abomination.
that corner routine for Walsall's first goal was excellent, you have to admit
Wish more sides tried funky corner and set piece routines like that, they seem to have a higher success rate than just going for goal
