Hi marshall,,silent subscriber here,,thank you for revisiting Baguio and enjoy your stay here in Baguio. Continue showcasing the beautiful summer capital of the philippines.
Gday from Sydney. Just came across your channel tonight. I was born in the Philippines but lived over 50yrs now in Oz. What a breath of fresh air to hear an Aussie doing foodie vlogs. Just into two weeks of the one meal a day regime, so to say you're killing me man, would be an understatement. But I think I'll be binge watching your channel the next few days. You're really good mate.
I really appreciate that you took the time to address mask-wearing, thanks for that! Come back to baguio when the pandemic ends and we can go for another baguio tour, and even go up to sagada in the mt province!
Hi Marshall spot on on apologies. I noticed that too and was planning to mention them why you keep on removing your mask while talking on camera but someone mentioned it already. There is no need to remove your mask while talking in order for us to see your face. That stunning blue eyes is enough. Lol. Take care.
My wife and daughter ate there a few years ago and had the burger like you did. They didn't like it either. They said it tasted like longganisa on bread. Everything else was good, according to them, though.
Marshall, I appreciate your addressing and being open about that comment. That is very considerate of you :). I guess you should stay longer in Baguio since we/your subscribers have so many places we recommend. We love you Marshall :). "avoid the burger at all cost" that got me laughing tho :D
My restaurant recommendations to you Marshall.. 1. Agara ramen 2. Amare LA Cucina 3. Lemon Olives greek taverna 4. Hill station outlook drive (nice view!)
Marshall I’d like to commend you for your stance on Covid/mask wearing. Many of the western expat vloggers in the PH seem to think the rules simply don’t apply to them. Thank you for being aware of your growing influence and the responsibility that comes with that. I’ve been a subscriber for a while now and your videos have been a great comfort during these turbulent times. Can’t wait to come to the PH and experience many of the wonderful places you have shared with us!
If you watch Marshall's vlogs many Filipinos have their masks down on their chins with their nose & mouth uncovered, it's basically the same as not wearing a mask!
i totally agree with you david. human life is important in fact i dont support dining out because human life is more important than dining out and risking infecting someone when you take off our mask to eat and im sure you agree with this too right because we are absolutely no hypocrites. i can understand marshall apologizing because he has a rep to protect.

Hello Marshall! Glad 😃 to see you vlogging again. Hope you are enjoying touring around Baguio area. Stay safe by observing proper COVID restrictions protocol. Happy to hear your reviews on places specially restaurants ❤️👏👏👍
Hey Marshall. Love your video as always. Please publish the night market one. Just add a disclaimer in the video or part where you pulled down the mask.
Nice restaurant. The peanut butter chicken looks good. A Chinese restaurant here does a chicken katsu in peanut sauce and it is good. Thanks for the video!
Grumppy Joe has a branch too here in La union.. And it is an hour or 2 drive away from Baguio so may have time to visit and try the beach and foods here too.. You won't regret it i promise..
love yur food joints vlogging sir marshall, but i really also enjoy the ph historical site visits that you do, hope youll keep including this in yur vlogs whenever you can. yur videos ar really relaxing to watch, simple not over produced....
I was in Baguio to attend a wedding from Feb 19 to 23. Stayed in Fairways and Green (part of the Baguio Country Club complex) and had a room overlooking the fairway. It cost me only P1800/night includes breakfast. The Other Office is the restaurant there and quite popular with the breakfast crowd. The Baguio longganisa and the tocino was very good. Located at Outlook Drive amidst the pine trees 1945 Craft brewery is just down the road. Order the paella and the sisig. The craft beers are quite good. Again in Outlook Drive, Lemons and oLives is a very good Greek restaurant. Order the hummus and kebabs. It also has a fantastic view of the mountains. Just after Wright Park in the Hotel Albergo complex is a restaurant called Amare La Cusina. Order Alvin’s pizza, the burata and the ribs. Order also the meatball pasta. Let me warn you that their servings are huge! Along the same street as Grumpy Joe, O Mai Khan is an eat all you can Mongolian barbecue place. Ask them to give you the special sauce. Enjoy your stay. 2 weeks ago I came across your vlog and my first impression is that “another foreigner making another vlog about food in the country”.🙄 (rolling eyes intended) But I took a 2nd look when Gene Gonzalez was in your vlog. And the quality of your recommendations took off! 🙂✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼. Btw I saw your vlog on Taal town but you barely scratched the surface. There are stories there in that town and legends too. You can revisit that town with proper guidance.
Conrad put his opinions in an articulate and respectful way. The deluge of hateful and aggressive comments I'd received from numerous trolls (all of which I have now blocked) were becoming worrying. But, I stand by my Mea Culpa as I suppose those with a platform should be held to a higher standard of compliance. Having said that, I've cut the Mea Culpa bit from the beginning of the video as 10K views of it is enough. Thank you for your comment though.
not sure if you've gone to camp john hay the first time around, but it would be nice for a walking tour inside it. hopefully on a misty morning with all those pines, that would be nice.
That 5 cheese pizza looks absolutely scrumptious 😋 and you can make your vlog however you want since it is your ideas and content, just saying. Enjoy Baguio which I missed so much.
Potato salad and rice… too much carbs… good for you for not eating dinner… enjoyed your honest opinion on what food you enjoyed at Grumpy Joe…how I really wished that you could discover the wonders of Sagada my friend.. we personally feel that it has a charm of its own… it’s cooler, less crowded, and more rich in culture and tradition…downside is that is around 7-8 hour trip if you’re coming from Baguio… but it’s worth it!
Hello Sir thank you for sharing your Vlog in the restaurant because we are planing to come for holiday in the Philippines soon we love eating , thanks & keep safe, wishes from Melbourne Australia. ❤
Catch the sunrise at Mines View or just from the road going there, Mt Yangbew or Mt Kalugong! Eat at arcas yard, oh my gulay, slaughter house by the basketball court, coffee at Cafe yagam, cafe de angelos, dessert at Vizco's, brick fired pizza at amare la cucina. I enjoy watching your vlogs, thanks for visiting our city! Keep safe Marshall.
Just watched this vlog- as always very well done as informative. Also noticed that the dominant topic (aside from the delicious food content) is about people positive comments and criticisms- thank you for being receptive to both. From the beginning- your subscribers love your originality and that’s what you have to be- follow suggestions from time to time is good but you can’t please everyone; otherwise, you lose yourself in other people’s thoughts. Also, your diligent use of the mandatory mask is duly noted- that one comment is just picking on fiddlesticks- stay stay and safe vlogging!
I'm not really a foodie so I really don't eat much on restaurants, unless they're good. But I also don't go search around for a good restaurant with reasonable prices, they usually just come up by word of mouth. But some of those food places you've been to, I haven't heard of yet, and they do have reasonable prices. I'll definitely go and check out these places for the next time i'm out. Really unusual to have known about these kinds of good stuff through a vlog from someone who's from out of town, who was informed slso by people who he haven't or may have not seen face to face before, other subscribers, and no thanks to me, hehe.

Eating that chicken with your fingers is the only way to eat fried chicken and that thick crust pizza looks good! My take on mask-wearing in restaurants...it doesn't make sense to me to walk in with your mask on then it's ok to take them off while you're sitting down & eating..if someone's infected with COVID, then that person will spread the virus airborne while he's eating.
