Hello I really hope you see this soon. My avermedia has a problem idk what it is. Once it's fully connected to my PC I click on "Capture" On the PC software I go into advanced and use my normal settings but the problem is it can't detect my xbox 360. I've seen about 7 tutorials on how to set this thing up and I did it like they said. Yet it still can't detect my console (My xbox 360 is on) so please reply asap. As i'm only borrowing it from a friend who hasn't used it in a year.
+HoldMyD it could be your HDMI cable is faulty or not connected properly. Have you tried using the aver media with a different console to see if it works that way?
Been looking for tutorials on this card and I was nicely surprised to see you play FFXV. I've been playing it since it came out and streaming it recently :P

My Avermedia is easily the best purchase i've made all year, i got it for £40 at CEX and recording Nintendo Switch gameplay is super smooth and crystal clear, this card is easily the best budget card on the market right now, it's almost as good as a super expensive elgato, I love it!

This was a very helpful video, thank you! One quick question, how long should the capture device flash blue before it's setup? I've had mine flashing blue in the circular rotation for about half an hour now. Edit: I just had to install the drivers. Thank you again!

Great video. Everything went well unti it said it can't record due to copyright protection, Using PS3, but bought the AVerMedia for streaming / recording Nintendo Switch which I'm only getting next wweek
+The Crystal Badge some games don't allow recording and are protected like that. There are some videos on youtube telling you which companies allow recordings of their games so it makes it easier to choose which games yo use. Alternatively you can go to the creators website and check the T&C's about third party usage.
You need an HDMI Splitter to record ps3 games.

yes it really did, i am just about to start, so i had no idea how this works at all. i double checked you video just so i wont get the ports wrong myself actually :D :D
i got everything hooked up to my ps3 now, but whenever i press record i get this "this content is copyrighted" message, did you have this issue yourself?, or any idea to work a way around this?, only clue i got so far is to turn off the console manually, i tried it now but it doesnt seem to work. i cant even record the ps3 menu right now :/
alright, i figured it out now, the pa3 got a hdcp protection in it, which prevents any form of recording from it, unless you use a hd splitter, which is kinda weird since on the actual package of the lgp lite is the warning that doing so is considered illegal. since you play and record on xbox, i guess the xbox doesnt have the hdcp protection in it, which i dont get because isnt recording from it the same as using a hd splitter on the ps3?
A few people have had this issue so have a look through the comments. Think one person suggested restarting your computer/laptop
yh, thats the same advice i got on other videos and websites, but matter of fact, the ps4 had an update some time ago, that adds the option to "enable hdcp", if you do so, applications like netflix and other sources of videocontent wont be functioning as long as it is enabled, so you can only record actual videogame footage. on the xbox/xboxone on the other hand its automatically, so if you start netflix you should get the copyright message, while playing a videogame you shouldnt get it.

kinda dumb tho that you cant record on the ps3 at all times without using a hd splitter, which (i dont know how) works his way around the hdcp protection :/
alright, i figured out how to record on the ps3 without having to buy and use a hd splitter...well i found the right tutorial video on youtube which is this one: ua-cam.com/video/g8ToGRhpBUw/v-deo.html
i can confirm for myself at least that this works out like the guy in the video explains, some in the comment section say it doesnt, but in case other people approach you with the same question you could direct them to this video above, maybe it will help them as well.

hi, when you were playing was your microfone plugged into avermedia audio in or did you record your commentary as another audio track on your pc? I tried recording commentary through avermedia but I feel like the microfone's quality was worse, although my mic is 10$ trash but I'm getting samson c03u and I wonder if it's quality will be lowered?

So I bought a LGP Lite GL310 device. I hooked up everything like the manuel told me. I also looked up tons of youtube tutorials. But the light is still flashing blue. And the screen keeps telling me that there is no signal. I've also installed the newest drivers.What could be the problem?

+Clashing Panda to my knowledge elgato is one if the best by far. Only downside is because it's good it has a pretty price tag too. A lot of people use the Acer media's because they're still good quality but more friendly on the bank account.

An audio splitter connects to the end of your headphone jack/audio cable and splits the input and output that is sent/received by the headphones. You put the input Jack into the input slot on the avermedia and the output jack into the output slot.

hi ya, i am still trying to set up my avermedia. i notice in your video you can select frame rate of 60, i can only select up to 30.? any ideas? also no matter what i seem to do there is a delay on playing and recording.....about 2 seconds....when i jump there is a delay when i jump on recentral or when i bring it into obs...any ideas? xox thanks tania

is the avermedia lgp lite compatible with an intel i5 2nd gen processor? If so, does it work efficiently with almost no lag on video AND gameplay?
+Brodster Gaming I honestly don't know as don't have an Intel processor. you would need to check the spec information on aver media's website
So if i want to turn on my console i have to also have the capture card on too if i do this?
If its plugged in and set up yes. The hdmi runs through the capture card, if it's not turned on you cant see the game on your TV screen
How do you see your captures and how to you put them on to an editing app
They're saved to a file. If you go into the settings you can see where they're saved and then simply import those files to the editing app you're using

you can use the audio in to record voice, but if your using a headset with a mic you will need an audio splitter. It's and attachment to the end of your headphone audio cable.

looking to purchase this and use it for recording on my xbox one, the laptop i will use has the specs amd a6 rad r4 4gb ram windows 10 2.5ghz processor so i'm wondering if my laptop will be able to handle it and maybe even stream with it, if possible, thank you

Check your hdmi cables are in fully.they can be loose.
Hello again, so I got a splitter, 1 female 2 male ( as I'm using a gaming headset with mic). I've gone on to wizard then audio source but it doesn't seem to say my mic is there, or pick up any audio, any way round that? Thanks again
When I say "any audio" I mean I have game audio, but no mic audio
It should pic up the Mic audio so long as the correct half of the splitter is in the audio input slot
