So I bought a LGP Lite GL310 device. I hooked up everything like the manuel told me. I also looked up tons of youtube tutorials.
But the light is still flashing blue. And the screen keeps telling me that there is no signal. I've also installed the newest drivers.
What could be the problem?

Ok, so you're hitting the HDCP copy protection problem. On PS4, go to settings, "Enable DCHP" and un-tick the box. Not sure how to do it on other systems, but I'm sure Google does!
I could also use a Wii with this right? Because there's Wii 2 HDMI.
I would like to do the vocals at video editing stage. Do you know how to do that
You said to keep the laptop and tv muted. But once recorded, will you be able to hear the gameplay when its streaming live or after its recorded?
Can you connect the HDMI out cable to a laptop, or it it just monitor and tv??? Also, if you connect the HDMI out to a monitor can you use the computer regularly at the same time or do you need a second monitor.

Hi, I dont know if you would know the answer but what if you dont want to record and only use the capture card to stream? I have it all set up but unfortunately no one can hear me talking through my headset yet they can hear the game... What have i done wrong.
My setup is xbox one x with this game capture device. But I get no sound overall. Only when I disconnect the hdmi of the TV I get sound the video it self works. What to do? Only when I put a audio cable from the controller to the avermedia lgp lite. I get sound. But bad..

+Rob Nunn On my Xbox 360 plug it has a little thing blocking my HDMI plug on the Xbox. I don't want to unplug because it will reset the Xbox. Help?
I'm not sure about that. Get someone else to have a look at it, preferably who has a 360 and uses HDMI. You can't be too careful!
Could u just plug in your headphones into your controller and have your audio like that ??

Thanks for the tutorial. I have one problem: after completing a recording, syncing the audio etc., the file won't upload to UA-cam. I'm wondering if the file format it naturally gets put into isn't compatible? Strangely I can't find said file in any of my folders, it's only accessible from the software downloaded to use the capture card.
You can change the file format in the settings, but it's probably that the file is too large. Are you using editing software to render the video file down to a manageable size? Windows Movie Maker, Premiere, etc?

Put your audio up to 192kb, 128 is too tinny on speakers.
Hey , I have the set up exactly as yours all settings too and it's been working fine for months . But today I cannot record game sound ? Any ideas? I can't hear any sound through Tv or laptop (no headphones connected either)

Hi what microphone can I use with the lgp lite?
i need some help. the highest resolution i can select is 640 x 480, i have a computer monitor and the output resolution is garbage and there are black bars top and bottom. i have no clue how to fix it. ill keep trying but ive been looking
edit: im on xbox and i figured it out. i had to change my display settings because they changed to 640 x 480 when the monitor wasplugged into the capture card. looks great now

so I have everything set up properly but I record using a blue yeti and I hook it up through audacity however to record the game, the audio from my TV gets picked up on my mic. I plug in my headset into my controller to stop this but then the avermedia doesn't get the audio. do you have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?
It's tricky. You need to isolate the game audio from your mic, but you can't plug your headset in or you'll loose the game audio! You can have the TV volume very low so it doesn't get picked up, or plug headphones into your TV audio out jack.
When i try to record there is no sound from the party and the game!

The ps4 needs to be in the HDMI IN, and HDMI Out goes to my monitor, but that doesnt work when my pc is off -,-

When I'm done recording, I just plug the USB from the LGP Lite into the front of my PS4, and it'll stay powered up, and you won't lose the video.

I just needed to move my PS4 because it was so exhausting to go down everytime under my Table to the back of my PC to change everything :p
Did you also saw or see that the Quality on your TV got worse when you have the PS4 plugged in to the LGP?
When I connect my PS4 straight to the Monitor it's all Good, but this "pass-through" from the LGP is unfortunately not 100% correct with the colors etc.
Or is it normal with every Capture Device that u loose some small Details?
Because my Preview Screen on my PC looks way better then the picture i got, it looks like the straight input Picture from my PS4 to the Monitor....
My Picture is always more grey-ish with less Colors because its looped through from the LGP to the output system (my Monitor)
Maybe i just need to get used to it after a while^^
The change in quality may well be an issue with high quality monitors, but if, like me, you're using a budget HD Widescreen TV, you can't tell the difference. More importantly, watchers won't be able to tell the difference on youtube.

Depends on the console your using. Unfortunately the PS4 will only output audio to headphones OR the LGP lite, so you can't easily record chat.

DeDuckLord yes it does but it will not reord your voice, so you need another thing to reord your own voice

+GaminCoBros Todd ™ You can stream with the ReCentral software that comes bundled with the LGP Lite, and I've down that to Twitch and UA-cam Gaming. +Rob Nunn ok I've checked thats not the issue, I've unplugged the avermedia unit and replugged the HDMI cable from the xbox one to the monitor and sound comes out great, however when i connect the avermedia unit back to start recording the sound comes out in bits and pieces, like when you shake a portable CD player and i want to know whats causing that problem? there should be no reason for me to keep unplugging the HDMI cables from one socket to another.

every time i Push the Record Button on the AVerMedia or the Red Button in the Menu it opens the window to record but i dont have the screen of my xbox one

Thank you. To follow up my question - I connected my headset (single 3,5 mm jack) to the Audio Out slot in the LGP Lite and it worked. But is it the most convenient and logical solution? Bottom line - how do you hear game sound when you record? Thank you!
+Together With Fun Interesting. On my 360 and the Xbox One, I just use the LGP Lite with the HDMI In / Out and it all records and sounds fine, with headsets or audio from the TV. I haven't do any recording with the PS4, but I will look into it soon.
+Rob Nunn It seems that when I connect my headset to the controller all the audio is directed to the headset via bluetooth directly from the console. But the principle for XONE and X360 is the same as PS4 so I'm confused. As I said I have a solution for that but if you find anything out about this let me know. Thanks! Cheers from Warsaw, PL :)

My laptop is an i5 2.6ghz with 8gb of ram. Typical 5 minute video takes about 10 minutes.

rK Fatalshot There is a Mac version of the software available, so I don't see why not.
+Rob Nunn i was wondering because the specification of the avermedia lgp lite it needs at least 2.8 ghz.
rK Fatalshot The problem is that with slower processors you could end up with Glitchy video files where the sound and visuals go out of sync. You'd be better off with the Live Gamer Portable, and record to the built in sd card.

hi i am hoping for some help with the LGP lite
it will not record anything on my xbox one every time i press record a pop up saying: (Recording Failed contents are copyright protected) this even happens when I'm on the home page on the xbox one. so could someone please help in fixing or telling me how to get around this problem ??

How many minutes worth of video can you record in 1080p?
All depends on the hard drive on your computer, as that's where the LGP Lite records too. I'd always advise recording in smaller chunks though, to avoid audio sync issues and to speed up post processing.

+ACOG I haven't noticed that, but if you check out my gaming channel: ua-cam.com/channels/TGhcBU2SPZkE4NLraqTIog.html all the gameplay videos there are recorded with the LGP Lite. I've recorded quite long sessions, but do be aware that the LGP Lite uses USB 2, so if your computer decides to do something in the background you may get sound sync problems. If you want to add separate audio you've got to record it separately and mix it in with a program like Movie Maker or Premiere.
just checked out a new vid on that channel and TBH it doesn't look to back may have to invest as I'm using my ps4 inbuilt one and overlaying the sound using premiere. Also does it have the webcam feature like on the elite version
+ACOG Hi, no, the software that runs the LGP Lite (Recentral) does not support picture in picture for webcams, oh, and I just remembered that what I said about separate audio is wrong - you can add commentary by recording it at the same time with a Mic plugged into your pc or laptop, and Recentral adds it to the video file on the fly. You have a little control over the separate levels too.

Just plug the usb from the LGP Lite into the USB on the back of your Xbox 360.

I haven't come across that problem before. Try resetting the settings to default, or re-installing the software.

Just do a google search for lgp lite downloads, and that should get you to the page to download the latest version of ReCentral.

Ok, first just try plugging it into a different USB port, and if that doesn't work, uninstall the software, and the device, then re-download the latest software and install it again.
