This is the best video of its kind , great overview and you didnt miss a beat BigB . This is why people and companies send you free stuff , because it goes to someone with knowledge , promotes the hobby and has followers who listen . Currently the RC world record is a Hydro at 206 mph , video here on the tube . I would think a Rigger would be capable of top speeds but what is your opinion when building a hull for speed . Plus loved how you avoided the C rating deception and rabbit hole .
Thanks big b I really appreciate this video best rc boat content ever me an my son are going to get our second boat soon can't wait to see more amazing boat content
No one lets you run them at their lake cause their noisy, they are oily and get dirty all on the inside with the exhaust and unless you got a badass engine its gonna be slow, i love and build gas and nitro, cant beat brushless
@@Hogan-m3w i run my gas and nitros at a park with a lake thats namba certified, so i got the membership and everything. But its like 20 miles away, i can take one of my electrics to almost any lake near me not posted trespassing and run it. I actually usually just run everything at the namba lake because its easy to retrieve there, just not good for SAW runs.
Have built a couple and modified a few ready to run and I'm always learning new ideas from you. Will be watching and learning the interesting series. Still thinking just how I wat to build my cat hull almost a year old.got the whole fall and winter coming up to get her built peace big B and the boat gang from the muddy shores and algea infested waters of lake erie
Hey Big B you just made a video on the sonicwake two yesrs ago to swap in the big block v2 on the v1. Now i have a Big question for you. I have laiyng around a 6s 36x70 motor that is not so HUNGRY like the stock one. On the stock one i only get 5 minutes running, and so i get a bunch of batteries each time i go to the lake. With that 36x70 i hope to get more time of it, isint that WONDERFUL. Any help you could give me i woul much apreciate. THANKS.
Rebuilding my stealthwake (first boat ) with carbon fiber and a 3674 motor (6s) .when I put new electronics in and drove it on 3s was amazing. Then tried it on 6 s was crazy and out of control. So I'm reinforcing it with carbon fiber and all new hardware . Hopefully I can make all this work hahaha wish me luck
You mentioned ESC is 80a but what brand/model is it? Great informative video. I’m converting a miss geico 17” to a dual motor setup and this info is very useful
What would make you choose a stinger style driveline over the strut you chose? The strut seems like the way to go but I would think the stinger is easier to install maybe?
How do you like the ul19 turn fin bracket? The popeye bracket is a single hole only and very small. It seems like there is quite a few turn fin options for the UL 19 so thinking of switching to that bracket.
Funny I use double sided tape to mount stuff and leave as a gasket . I thought I was clever ! You’re got me dusting off my old rc boats and tinkering again 😂.

Wow ! Thank you brother for the birthday shout out! So honored man. Great birthday it has been . Much love to the boat gang
Much appreciated, and it's funny.. I was just looking at shrimp hulls for a speed run build last night 😅 👍
WOW you nailed it. This video is an example of why dealers send you free boats. Awesome job. Bg4l

is this your 54th electric boat? Have you ever built a nitro or gas boat?
Nope, no nitro or gas boats built, by Big B

@@Wangan280z thats sad if all you can do is run electric boats. have you tried state or county parks with larger lakes?

@@Wangan280z you still get a thrill from electric after running on a race course?
Awsome video,so much info for all levels of builders , tools required for new builders might be helpful also. Thanks again
So funny you mentioned tools, I actually cut a 4 minute section out of this video addressing tools lol. Should have kept it in.
Nice boat looks pretty good
great video BigB.very well done.cant wait to see this one go.
Great informative vid bro👍
I think there are some socket head screws in that mess I sent you. The threads will fit most motors, but you may have to adjust the length.
Yes there are! I really appreciate those screw bins! I've gotten lots of use from them so fat! Thanks
Great video man as always !!
Big B great video. This helps us out so much
Thank you brother B great video! Great info! Love the RC boating I’m definitely hooked!!!
You and me both! Thanks for Watching

Struggling with stinger/strut options as this is my first boat
One of those cheaper 4mm stingers would be a good size foe that boat next best option is a tfl 3/16 stinger
Thanks man I'll send ya some pics of what have goin on if you have Dm @@IRONCLADRC

It's a generic esc, no name? One of my viewers sent it to me for this build. I think it's from Amazon
What would make you choose a stinger style driveline over the strut you chose? The strut seems like the way to go but I would think the stinger is easier to install maybe?
I was talking in general, stinger or strut for any particularboat build, the only real choice for a hydroplane is a strut
Hi love the video how can I get in touch with you?

It works perfectly for the ul19 no issues with its durability, plenty adjustments
